Road to Rye via Biddenden & Appledore

Such a gorgeous day I had to hit to Road to Rye, it has this amazing stretch of road just before you enter Rye called the 'Military road'. On one side you have the Royal Military canal which runs for 28 miles between Seabrook and Cliff end near Hastings bordering Romney Marsh.
It was constructed in 1804 to keep out the French during the Napoleonic wars. It never saw any military action.
