- In today's video I highlight some of Halifax's best beaches. There are lots of beaches in the area, but these are 5 of my favorite. We are lucky to enjoy ocean and lake beaches in Halifax and I show you 4 ocean and 1 lake beach. I hope you enjoy Canada's ocean playground!

Fantastic list...there are also so many unexplored little sand beaches and rocky beaches all along the Eastern Shore area...just take a little digging around to find them. Will be getting to each of the ones you have mentioned this summer hopefully! Thanks for sharing...

Is there sharks/killer whale in halifax near by beach? Cause i am thinking of maybe living there for the beach/water sport lifestyle without having to deal with visas-immigration issues like i would had to for florida
There are a couple sharks off the coast of NS in summer, but not the numbers you would see in Florida or Austrailia
