You didn't mention all the parents that blame their kids. You only mentioned the kids that blame their parents. Please acknowledge that it's NEVER a kids fault if they're abused, neglected, or mistreated by anybody. It's never a wife's fault if her spouse abuses her, physically, emotionally, or physically. It's never a husband's fault if his spouse abuses him physically, emotionally, or sexually. Your video is a toxic message to anybody or any group of people who have been a victim of abuse or maltreatment.
If there is no one to blame then there is no one who is responsible of any thing gone wrong. Likewise, if we ourselves are the only ones to blame for our own situation then it follows that our actions do not have any consequences on the external world. Since both of these statements are false, the premise of this video is false as well!
Avoiding a knee jerk reaction to blame another is not enough to improve the situation. Not offering some indication of what the second step might be could leave a desperate, isolated reader in the lurch.
This entire video reeks of DARVO. I'm willing to bet this person abused their family either verbally or emotionally, and is using this video to justify their actions.
