Yes had these before there good but same old story put a bit of seasoning in and it takes on a whole new identity now I never bother using cling film just put a plate on top of whatever your microwaving works a treat and you don't burn your fingers pulling the film off
Frozen mash is really nice. Make it and have it with a full dinner with gravy. Cathedral City do a cheesey frozen mash OFG, perhaps you could review that sometime. Great review as always. 👍👍
I'm not a fan of powdered mashed potato so these look like a nice alternative. I wasn't expecting them to look like that either. The Iceland one especially looks like Korean rice cakes 😂
Slight aside here but I remember buying the one from Iceland a few years ago and it smelled like a farm. It kind of put me off a bit. Some research led me to discover that white pepper can smell like manure if not processed correctly, as it can contain the same chemical elements. If you ever buy a pack of white pepper make sure you smell it before using it, as if you get a bad batch it can completely overpower and ruin your food!
Waitrose and Tesco frozen mash is as good as mashed potato you would make. I add a tiny bit of milk and microwave about 3 minutes. Haven't tried other makes.
Problem is, Aldi keep discontinuing their frozen mash. Doesn't look like they're bringing it back for this winter, either. Frustrating, as the big supermarkets all charge rip-off prices for their frozen mash.
Hello food guy new subscriber here love the channel can a ask if u will try the Aldi Apple strudel it's in a green box in the freezer isle and it's about 85p put in oven on 120 absalutey beautifull they are they do a rubarb one aswell
When you put each brand into bowls you got them confused. Then you put them in the same bowl even more confusing. Are you sure you tasted and labeled each brand correctly? I was going to try the iceland one.
Sainsbury's do a box of 4 sachets of mash for less than a pound. Just add 500ml of boiling water. I was pleasantly surprised, it was really good (and for a man living on his own, really easy 🤔) It's worth a try 👍
You need to mix up a Yorkshire pudding and your recent reviews on gravy and this instant mash and make up a tasty meal Sadly I don't own a microwave just cope without one stove and oven or starve
You can get microwaves very cheaply. Often given away on Freecycle or you can buy from charity furniture shops. Invaluable for re-heating and cooking certain things. Cheapest of any cooking method and good for veg as healthiest method. You should seriously consider getting one.

No Sainsburys, Asda, Home bargains, Farmfoods, not even a pound shop where i live. So when i travel to all them in one day mate i will pick some up
Powdered mashed potato doesn't come close to frozen!
I agree having tried both, Aldi is better unless you buy the more expensive Iceland pack
I have lunge disease and other problems so I get my order from Iceland delivery to my home
OH NO Adrian. i'm sending my love mate

I will do that this week Mondo mate

Iceland Mash has shrunk to 700g. Delicious btw.
OH wow
Farmfoods frozen mash is also really good
I have no farmfoods in my town. I might have to travel and try it
I put butter in a bowl with milk add potato don't cuver 3 minutes job done
Do you mean don't cover?
In 2 years the Iceland mash has increased in price by 90%. It's now £1.90 for 1kg. Aldi is now £1.29 for 700g, so better value
You how to make it lol lol
The iceland one is now only 700 gram
Oh wow mate
@@itskeithnNat Went and double checked
Iceland ones look like sticks of chalk 😆
Asda’s frozen smash is nice, I add a knob of butter and cheese but still perfect on its own....
I have no Asda by me mate, which is a shame
Hello again.WHAT HAPPENED TO JUST MAKE YOU'RE OWN.
Seriously, who is that lazy they buy frozen mash? :(
Disabled people can find it hard to mash potatoes.
its just a review and it may help some people
As lazy as buying frozen chips, frozen peas, etc etc 🙄
How ridiculous, have you not got anything better to do
What's ridiculous about going to feed the homeless with them?
@@itskeithnNat is that what ya doing?
@@fleshgordon6190 Yes
O just shut up I've tried it and it's right whot his saying food guy lovely mash
Didn’t see this til now, sorry...
All good mate
