Voidokilia beach - Messenia - Peloponnese

Voidokilia is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece, it is well hidden and totally natural, being part of a large area protected by nature reserves.
Voidokilia beach is located in the southwest of the Peloponnese and Greece in the Messinia peninsula, near the city of Pylos and the resort of Gialova. In the immediate vicinity is the old fortress of Navarino, Nestor's cave and the sand dunes of Navarino.
Being a protected area, the beach is perfectly natural and you won't find anything here, except nature itself, so there are no sunbeds, umbrellas, no toilet, you won't find anything to buy. You have to bring everything you need yourself, and when you leave you have to take everything back with you.
The beach is actually a lagoon and has the shape of the Greek letter omega, the sand is very fine and has pink iridescence from place to place. The entry into the water is slow, and the water is particularly clean and of a fantastic color

This is a most beautiful beach . It reminds me of the national park beaches in Australia . I am so glad that this beach is not over crowded and has no ugly sun beds on them . I am so glad that this beach is protected and thank you for this lovely video .
