- It's 2023, so I decided it was time to go out with the old and in with the new.
If you work in the DJ or wedding industry, you've probably heard of Vibo. Vibo is a music and event planning app that allows you to create playlists, connect with clients, and so much more. In today's video I'm going to be walking through how to setup your Vibo account, how to navigate through the app, and how to be efficient with your planning.
This app is exactly what us DJs need for a more efficient and organized planning process. Let's get into it!

Been using Vibo for a week so far and LOVE it! I demonstrated this to one of my October clients and they are already 80% done with the planning. Such a life changer and worth the money!
After every consult I create a demo for the couple and invite them as a host to explore the app. 60% of the time it works all the time

Hi Joe, do you know any alternatives for this? $100 per month for something that isn't revenue generating is just not feasible especially in my market.

I just used iphone screen record for this, but yes, I use loom all the time.

@djjoebunn Does this replace DJEP as a whole or just the planning portion of DJEP?
Planning part.
Very hard to geta. Straight answer on pricing is the drawback to me. I am not talking to someone first . You can forget that. If it's not something you can look at only, maybe demo with clear pricing then no.
Are you still using DJEP for taking the inquiries and logging the bookings, and handling the financial side of things?

I never loved the planning part of DJEP, just the CRM.

No it's not like event planner. This is on a whole different level. Much easier then event panner.

@clarencewhorley6077 Damn..Let's not go down that road... we are all as one. It just takes some longer then others to find the right path. But let's not get into judging people by their financial status. Some people like pixie sticks..others like Columbian grade pixie sticks...that's all....LMAO
@@darrinbridgman3002 I haven't used either platform, I am not a mobile DJ yet. The only one I keep hearing about is The DJ Event Planner. I'll have to choose one soon tho.
Michael lost my business when he tried to force a consult just so that I could get a price, and then essentially yelled at me via email because I said I didn't want a consult I just wanted to sign up. You have set prices... Just share the price and let us sign up.
I get that. I'm kind of introverted and don't like talking much let alone a video call. I think Michael wants to make sure that this app is right for you and that you're not wasting your time/money if you're someone who works maybe 2-3 times a year or if you don't have a driven interest in growing your business.
Once I got to talking to him, not only did we talk about the app, but he's like a personal consultant on all things related to the business and he gave suggestions on pricing, people to connect with, and setting goals. If you are interested in increasing your business it is worth your while to talk to him. He's a smart guy and is genuine.

@@michaelmahler5222 Why is pricing not freely out in the open? Tells me you are likely giving different people different prices. Has a very info mercial hard sell feel to it. The only people I know using it are You Tube DJs. I don't know anyone else using it. Lay out the prices without a sales talk. Lose that garbage and you will get more business.
