Good work Joe! I've literally DJ'd weddings back-to-back feeling like crap even dry heaving into a wastebasket behind the table with a pounding nauseating headache before the event even started and got worse throughout the night. So true what you said, suck it up, smile, and do your job. Stay the course and get through it. Feed your family. True work ethic Brother!
Good talking points thanks I'm a new dj doing hotel restaurant sets for international guests always a guessing game what to play but I think background music is the key
Great video and SO true about all events not being bangers. It's great when they are but sometimes they're just not and you really can't force it without looking super cheezy.
Holiday season is coming up next month and we already have to do about 15 events and it's early November. Not all are going to be awesome but like you said, they will be way more awesome than us not being there... good to always remember that. I will be pounding the vitamins and redbull right after Thanksgiving.
Ok so super new guy question I’ve never messed with tables what is a way to get started I’ve done a few weddings for friends and family but I’m thinking of taking it to the next level thanks for the videos
Woohoo Martin Audio! I work for them, and can attest to their awesomeness :) Did they rock the CDD-LIVE or XP series, and do you know what production company provided them?
In ears are much better on your ears due to the your cue volume levels being kept very low because they are put into your ear canal.I use in ears as well, and I think it is better than traditional headphones. It does take a lot of discipline and getting used to keeping them in. Give them a try!
@@spinaroundsounddj The easiest ones to use starting out will be the XVive in ear monito system it’s completely wireless just plug the transmitter into the 1/4 inch headphone Jack and turn it on. I use that one I have also used the Audio 2000,s and Shure. The XVive to me is far better because it’s compact and very easy to hook into. I have a tutorial on my channel on the in ear monitors. Best of luck.

I've got 3 big weddings this weekend, no assistant, and I'm ready to rock. Got that attitude of Gratitude!

Nice to see a high end DJ being real about every party not ripping off the roof. Lol
Thank you for keeping it real!
Of course!!
Yes! Doing my first BIG corporate event soon :)
I have a pretty big NYE benefit event in the books and man I am pumped for it. It’s hard being a one man show but we gotta rock it!!!😊

Great message at the end Joe!

Good point!
You did a 300 people event with Evolves? Was it enough?
I didn't do the sound, I just showed up. There were speakers everywhere. And it wasn't a dancing event.
Great video :)

Why do you use in ears? More curious then anything. Thanks!
