No matter what Tom Ellis does in the future,James Bond or whoever,he will always be remembered for this show,Lucifer! Every character had wonderfully written parts.

you know, this show's version of lucifer always struck me as more chaotic neutral than chaotic evil. you never know what he's gonna do but he's not protrayed as the bad guy, really just the punisher who indulges in whatever he feels like
In the Pilot and 2nd episode, He always struck me as more CE, but as the show goes on and we learn more and he gets closer to Chloe I feel like he gradually become CN and then TN, and then eventually LG. By the finale he's less about self-indulgence and doing whatever he wants; and more about becoming the angel he was meant to be by helping the souls in hell. Its this rollercoaster to 'redemption' for the lost soul. Ultimately, what took him years to do and figure out he turns around and uses it to help others.
I am a real fan of this show but the bitter truth is that angles and God ARE NOT human and he knew better or should have known better before saying he is above God and all creation, and the devil lies the main first lie was to eve telling her she can be like God if she ate the apple because he was jealous of humans and wanted God to hate them too
The best ever scene was when Chloe stood up for him in the courtroom saying Lucifer is not lying. Beautiful ❤️. So much respect and love

Tom Ellis is an amazing actor. You can just see his heart breaking at 4:22 that's how good he is. And the casting for the whole show was superb.
lucifer is not the devil he is a broken person lucifer wasnt a show it was a roller coaster of emetions he was not the fallen angle he was a broken tool cast out by his own father him going through the pain humans do doesnt make him weak it makes him human and that is the biggest emtion anyone can ever feel hes broken and hurt deep down and yet he still manages to keep his loved ones safe thats what a true angel really is.

The ending broke my heart and still feels raw because I cannot imagine forcing myself to neglect my child the way I was neglected... and yet the choice was his... and I cannot fault him for it
He had a father who thought he knew what he needed his son to go through, to become the greatest possible version of himself. That is a really rough place to be in regards of your children.

Love isn't abandonment, it's sacrifice for *all* your children. My parents sacrificed, all right.... they sacrificed my blood, my life, at the alter so as to better support my siblings.
Parents can be far better than butchers cutting off limbs out of fear for the rest of the body.

What an amazing show!! I am definitely going to be watching again and again. All the characters and actors were amazing. The show was funny and delightful... looking forward to seeing Tom Ellis in the future.

Not very much series these days have consistent writing….however this series was wonderfully written actors did well in playing their characters this is one of those series that’s on my rewatch list always

Lucifer and Chloe are made for each other, no matter what, they always made it back to each other, their love is unconditional, no one was able to break them apart, others did try but did not succeed

She lied to him so many times!
The fact that she was told repeatedly by him and she at first thought he was an idiot then later after weird things happened, she had suspicions but ignored her inner monologue then when she saw the truth with her own eyes, she ran away from him.
She ignored everything he did for her going to hell twice to save her life. Then lets a priest convince her to try and send him to hell and lied again more than once. She should have spoken to him! She knew he had never lied to her!.
I was so furious at her! And l am not better than Lucifer because l did not and will not fully forgive her for that. And yes l know it is just a tv show,

He probably did have narcotics on him, it is Lucifer, if I remember he carries a small case with drugs as well as his flask

He told her he sometimes did not tell the full truth like letting her go after her daughter alone while he had full intentions of following her. But he did tell the truth because she said she had to go alone.

Lucifer of the Bible was the father of lies, but in this show he is utterly honest and vulnerable with a degree of authenticity that makes him so raw and human even though he does wear masks to hide his pain (feeling unworthy of love and the fear of abandonment) as he drinks and fornicates and parties.

He did tell one lie in the pilot. Told the guy who answered the rappers house that he had drugs for him
Lucifer, the devil, is called the Father of Lies.
Would have been a great montage. . .but one problem. The music volume overpowers any conversations from the show. Hard to hear and understand what you're putting together. What's the point if all you can hear is ascending tempos, no vocals from the scenes; and so only see lips moving? Just a thought and suggestion.

But u also have to see, this was my 3th Tribute. And i was pretty bad at edting and stuff like that.
And at this time it was hard for me to get the music on a level were u can hear the silent scenes and the loud scenes the same.

Hell is a prison. Lucifer is the most (in)famous prisoner. He rules Hell just like every human prison has a shot-caller prisoner. Everyone in there kisses his boots, but he’s not the warden.

It occurred to me a link in the writing that I haven't heard anyone else acknowledge. ..
Lucifer tempted the first woman, Eve. Chloe was tempted by Eve's son, Cane and almost married him, but, by Chloe's own admission, initially accepted and then later denied because of Lucifer.
Lucifer must really hate Cane, the first murderer, because of the loss of his love via Eve to Adam, to his Father for instilling love to an angel, then banishing him and putting him through that torment for tens of thousands of years, only to meet/fall in love with Chloe whom was supposedly created for him (secretly), to almost lose her to the son of a woman he had lost before, Eve.

When He, he never lied on her, and never betray her.
