THIS IS SO GOOD! The smooth transitions! The character design! Everything! The artstyle
i watched this video during class for an assignment back in grade 8 and completely forgot about it until today. my teacher decided to bring it back up as a little trip down memory lane. this was what shaped 13 year old me in a fairly homophobic school, and i remember watching it over and over again when i got home the first day i saw it. i’m now going to be graduating high school this year, and i’m overjoyed that i was able to find this again before i do. this will always hold a special place in my heart because of the impact it had on me as a child, and even though it’s an older video i hope it’ll have that same impact on someone else one day too ❤

@@brouatmyfood I'm guessing there's a strong chance the song was disputed by Bug Hunter or their label as I'm pretty sure this animated version was bigger than their original song. That along with the possible chance the person who did this animation took it down or was not active and couldn't respond to the DMCA ending up in deletion (POSSIBLY)
@@TJG421bug is a small indie artist, and he has talked many many times about how thankful he is for the original animation. i didnt even know it was taken down, but im very sure its not bugs fault.
@@TJG421bug literally did a dub of this song in his UA-cam shorts lol, he is NOT against it, I found this version through bug
Yeah happy to clear things up! Bug hunter had nothing to do with the original being taken down. The original animator let me know he was taken time away from social media and voluntarily took their channels down. He also told me that he’s fine with me keeping up my re-dubbed version.
I totally get why the first instinct is “corporate company ruins a good thing” but we have no label and I own all the rights to my music. The original video has introduced thousands of people to my music, I’m bummed it’s gone but it’s not up to me what the original artist did with their channel! -Bug

The original was straight but someone/(bug posibly?) did a cover for this animation to make it gay
You screwed up some major details that ruined it. If you're going to make major changes and get key points wrong, you may as well make your own instead of stealing someone elses song.

@@Acorn905 The gender of the person writing the email, and in the original song the guy wasn't flirting with the girl, he was just reading her email and looking over her shoulder, they never even talked in the original.

Yes, a very interesting animation watching some guy watch someone type an email. What they did was that they did it the way some movies do and had event play out as like flashbacks while he was watching a guy write the email.

There's no genderswap - the blonde guy just had his hair longer when he was younger. I remember OP clarified it back on the og posting of this animation
