So what happened was...
Theory time! We know that every SQUIP is linked to another right? I believe someone in Eminem's entourage was SQUIPed and that the SQUIP told Eminem's friend to leave a hockey stick in a favorable place to boost the odds of Eminem dying. This way Jeremy's SQUIP gets what he wants by making Jeremy gain Brooke's sympathy and Eminem's friend's SQUIP furthers his plans of becoming the new Eminem.

Honestly, the second saddest part to me in this musical(first is Jeremy throwing away his best friend, obviously) is that Brooke is nothing to Jeremy. She has actual feelings for him, and he treats her like an object. As far as he's concerned, Brooke is just an upgrade.

She only dated Jeremy because she saw how jealous her best friend was at the mall when Jeremy complimented Brooke rather than her.

Like there’s this moment where the Squip gets intense. Challenges Jeremys manhood, shows that they gotta plan, and since neither give Jeremy motivation in that moment he notices Christine, changes the tune to match Jeremys own when he sees her, and convinced him to take the upgrade. It’s amazing.

I dunno if this was intentional or not but I found 7:02-7:07 really interesting. Because, Jeremy first sticks out his hand to seal the upgrade deal, the Squip agrees but sticks his hand out instead, forcing Jeremy to shake his instead of the other way around. The Squip doesn't make the deal with Jeremy. Jeremy makes the deal with the Squip. The Squip is still in control.

I really like Christine, and Michael too, but I can't stop myself from loving Brooke and Jeremy, even if it's built on lies and he made her suffer like a tool for him to get popular -_-. I think that with Brooke's sweetness and kinda innocence with Jeremy's ackwardness and his cocky attitude would have made a really cute couple. Besides, height difference and the popular girl with the not so popular boy, and herself loving him so much for it. Besides, himself being kinda shy with Brooke but still doing everything for her like he does for Christine in the Musical, that's my jam. Or just the unpopular ships are my jam. Because the musical is all about Christine and Jeremy, the fandom is all about Michael and Jeremy, and the least popular ship seems to be The Squip with Jeremy.
