I don’t know if you are aware but Liverpool was founded in 1207ad and granted city status in 1880, during ww2 it was headquarters of western approaches and credited with being responsible for winning the battle of the Atlantic which was critical to Britain’s survival. All this before the Beatles, however they were responsible for putting our city on the global map

I really liked this video. I’m an American and in the late 1970s I discovered the Beatles. I kept hearing their songs on the radio and thought they were great songs…my brother was a big Stones fan during the 60s so he downplayed the Beatles. Anyway I hope one day to get over there and check out the Beatles sites!
That's great, I'm a big fan too. I actually started listening to their music aged 10 - it's a long story. All my friends thought I was weird haha, not so much now. Hope you make it over here to Liverpool, it's a fantastic place to visit especially if you're a fan of the Fab Four. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video. The Cavern club closed in March 1973 after British Rail made a compulsory purchase of the warehouses. The basement which housed the Cavern Club (an old bomb shelter) was marked to be a ventilation shaft for the new Merseyrail underground railway . It was never built and the site became a car park. I think you will find that the original Strawberry Fields gates were taken into storage over ten years ago, and replaced with replicas. Nice to see all the sites anyway 👍

Love all of the Beatles History. Did not know there was an Eleanor Rigby statue. Original Penny Lane sign is a great find! Wow, even the childhood homes. What a historic church grounds! Great job with this one Matt!
Hello Eugenia, yes plenty enough - it's surprising how quickly the day passes once you start visiting these places. I think the museum would be really interesting, if I ever return to Liverpool I'll definitely do it.
Glad you enjoyed yourself. There is so much more around that area if you ever go back Johns primary school is just off Penny Lane and his Grammar school Quarry Bank is also nearby. His mum Julia was knocked down and killed by a car on Menlove Avenue and she is buried in nearby Allerton Cemetery. Brian Epsteins house is a few minutes drive away too. Queens Freddie Mercury once lived in Dovedale Towers which you would have passed on Penny Lane. Thank for the video.👍
Thank you Rossi, some wonderful information right there. So many historical places in such a small area, many of which I was unaware of. Thanks for the information, very interesting to read!
That I’m the photo & in the video is not the barber shop hun. It’s further up opposite the old bus stop. Paul was there a year or so ago with James Cordon. There was a few errors but in the whole good video x
Thanks for the information regarding the Barbers shop, I'll keep that in mind if I visit again. Will see if I can catch the James Cordon episode on YT! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for a well researched and nicely shot and narrated film. Liverpool is so interesting to we Americans. Many immigrants sailed from Liverpool to New York. Albert docks is fascinating and the Beatles Bus Tour was so much fun. Thank you for an enjoyable look.
Hi Mary, thanks for your comment - very kind of you. I'm really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the video, I certainly enjoyed the few days I spent in the city. All the best!
I've never been to England but I will be there one-day. As huge fan of Beatles and Queens, these guys influence me a lot. Thank you very much for your excellent introduction, explanation of Beatles history and historical locations. Keep it up.
Thanks for your kind words, Aung. I listened to a lot of the Beatles music when growing up so I found the whole experience fascinating. I appreciate you watching!
Fun fact. On Penny Lane there is a pub called Dovedale Towers. It used to be a hotel in the 60's and Freddy Mercury stayed there for 6 months when he was in a Liverpool band before Queen.
Also dovedale School around the corner from dovedale Towers. A number of famous people attended this school including John Lennon. Yoko Ono had over the years donated large sums of money to the school. Both my children attended the school. Benefited from those donations. We did live off Penny Lane but we moved a couple of times. We now live just around the corner from where John Lennon lived when he was born till about 3 yrs old I think with his Mum. Newcastle Road. His Mum Julia worked at the shops at the bottom of my road on Woolton road. She worked in a cafe. Different shop now. X.
Very interesting, i knew Paul and George as we lived in Speke during the 1950s, and one of our favourite spots was the Speke Oglet shore at the bottom of Dungeon Lane, we used to walk along the shore to Hale Lighthouse, and back,
@@MattWhitingsEurope Yes it is still there and one can see the Welsh hills across the River Mersey, Paul also lived at 72 Western Ave in Speke untill his mother Mary changed her job and the family had to leave and the city council's housing dept gave them a house at 12 Ardwick Rd also in Speke, Mike Mc cartney would also be there with his camera.
Sounds amazing, it's a really underrated part of England if you ask me. Interesting to know a little of the history there - thanks for that. I wonder if Mike every published those photographs?
@@MattWhitingsEurope Only photo i have taken by Mike is of George on Dungeon Lane, have not seen his photo book so i wouldn't know.try googling his photo book and see if there are more photos of Dungeon Lane and the dhore.

Your video is by far the best beatles tour vid I have seen you have a fantastic introduction summing up the video and give great insight in your entire tour
Wow, thanks! I really appreciate you saying. Love the Beatles so it was a privilege to see where they spent their younger years and to document it in this video.
Thanks a lot for the great informative video- As l am returning to Liverpool this summer after 15 years, l‘ll have to study your other works in detail. Thank you again and have a great day!
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed the video! Best of luck for your trip this summer, I bet the place has changed a bit in 15 years - have a good one!!
I appreciate your video, dedication, and knowledge. Time and space are intriguing. It interests me more when the videographer does comparison shots of 'then and now' locations rather than general area location shoots. Seeing where John and Paul actually performed at the Village Fete would've been outstanding. Still, lovely and enjoyable. Best!
Thanks for watching Jeff, I like the 'then and now' photos too but they do throw up some copyright issues. Most of those old photos will have some kind of copyright restriction but you do raise an interesting point - I will keep it in mind for the future. Appreciate your feedback 👍
@@MattWhitingsEurope Matt, it was late here in the States when I watched your thoughtful and enjoyable video. I was on my way out (in dreamland), half-dozing. Regardless, it takes a lot of time, skill, expense, and commitment to schlep around filming, editing, post-production, and producing. Not everything is possible and, as you well explain, we are limited and do our best not to infringe. That said, you excelled on every level. Your film was splendid! I will watch again and subscribe. Stay warm and safe. Best, Jeff
Sounds great. Amazing to hear that Mathew Street has changed so much, it's funny but I've wanting to go there for about 20 years - should have gone earlier I guess. Thanks for checking out the video!
Thanks Santiago, I’m glad you like the video. I hope you have a wonderful time when you get to visit in February. Make sure you take your warm cloths - it will be really cold that time of year. If you need any more information about the video just let me know. All the best!
@@MattWhitingsEurope Wow i didn’t knew about the cold weather, thank you! Like that I’ll be ready and I have other question, from the Cavern Club to Strawberry fields, penny lane and all those places, do you went by uber, taxi or public transport??😁
Sounds like you’re going to have a great trip! Well the Cavern Club is in the centre of the city, as are the Beatles statues. I was staying in the city centre so both were walkable. The last they bits I drove to since I had my own car but you can get to all using public transport, however it may take you a bit longer. Uber and taxis would do the trick but be considerably more expensive. Hope that helps.
Two days ago, the doors to the "faux Cavern" were wide open at about 10am, and it was all lit up, so I took a wander down the steps to have a look. Some miserable sod in cargo shorts came up and rudely barked "We're closed!" There was no sign saying it was closed. Crappy customer relations. On the plus side, the taxis doing Beatles tours are brilliant. We had a guy called John. Great bloke. Yesterday, we also had guided tours inside John's and Paul's houses (Mendips and Forthlin Road), which were very good. Mathew Street, though, is a bit too touristy, and Cargo Shorts Man was a ****.
Kinda their own fault for leaving the doors open to a popular tourist attraction, there's no need to be rude in that situation. I bet the house tours were great? When I was stood outside Paul's house taking some photos a tour group left and the lady said that there might be some availability the next day, sadly I was heading up to Blackpool in the evening so I couldn't make it but I would have loved to take a loom around inside. I understand there's a strict 'no video' rule, is that right?
@@MattWhitingsEurope Unfortunately, you're right. To get indoor video you have to watch the Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke. I was hoping for a booklet or postcards containing photos of the insides (even for a few quid) but there weren't any available. Screengrabs from the Carpool Karaoke seem to be the best you can get. Probably best not to post them online though!
Hi from Liverpool, I was working in the Casbah a couple of years ago, the place where it all began for the lads, it's been converted to a hotel, but the old Casbah is still up & running, heard some great stories about the lads from Pete Bests brother " Rogue" one was how Paul, John & George got given the basement to do up as place where their teenage mates could meet up & do their own thing ( later to become the Casbah) John got caught scratching his name on the wall with his penknife by Mona ( Petes mam) she gave him a smack across the head, it's still on the wall & so is his scratched name above the small stage where they played, with the words " I'm back also, that was returning from Hamburg, they got told off for painting the ceiling green, so they painted it black with silver stars ( still there) apparently George painted the part above the stage with a different colour because they ran out of black. Its like stepping back in time as you go in.
Thanks for the information, Terry! Fascinating to read your comment, I had not heard of the Casbah before so I'm going to do a bit of reading up on it. Sounds like a very historical place, glad to hear it has been preserved! Thanks again.
No problem Matt, I'm 67 now & retired, but I was brought up listening to the Beatles because my older sister " Jessie " used to go & watch them in the Cavern & she had a vanity case record player on which their records were played, we lived right by the Institute college where John & Paul went to, also the bottom of our street was " Rice street " where the pub " Ye old Crack" is & the lads had a few pints. Talking of pints, another story from Rouge was, his mam had a big dog named Satan & every day they put their scraps of food in a big pan for him to have next day, so one night John, Paul & George ( no Ringo on the scene yet) went out on the ale in that area of West Derby & on returning to Petes House they were very hungry & warmed this pan of what they thought was stew up to eat, next morning Mona entered the room where they were all just waking up, seen all the plates lying around & asked what all the mess was? They said sorry Mona, we were so hungry we ate all that lovely stew you left, when she told them who it was for, their faces dropped & they ran for the toilet. You should visit the Casbah, Rouge does a tour there & you will hear stories that are new to a lot of Beatles fans, he was actually born in that house while the lads sat on the stairs smoking. Happy days eh.
John and Paul used to walk across Sefton Park when they went to each other's houses.🎉 Visited both on a National Trust tour. Recommended 👍👍. Fab and gear. +1
I went there a while back while visiting the wife's family, we had a great time touring. I took photos of Liverpool & the beatles museum who asked me online if they could use them in their brochures. The cavern then was quite a depth & hot. But overall I found the people friendly & helpful.
I bet someone somewhere is really kicking themselves for filling in the old Cavern Club's basement! Sefton Park really was stunning from the shots you showed us. I really enjoyed listening to their history as you were in the park and as the video continued on after. I know their songs, but not much more about them! I think this video was truly fantastic, definitely one of my favourites of yours. I feel like I know so much more about a band I probably should have already known more about! 🤣 Thank you!!
Yes whoever made that decision surely regrets it these days - was quite a controversial thing to do even back then. It's a shame as I would have loved to visit the actual stage where they once played! Glad you like the video, I knew I had to do a Beatles related video whilst I was in the city - just couldn't resist. As I travelled around I realised that I could easily make a part two some day as there's so much to see and talk about!
Just where you were standing when talking about Paul and John meeting at the church fete there was a bench. Just to the left of it as facing it is the grave of John's uncle (Mimi's husband) George Smith.
Yes I actually saw that whilst I was there but unfortunately it didn't make it into the video. Really interesting place. I guess he's a bit of a legend in Liverpool too?
I honestly thought about flying over from America to visit Liverpool so I could see all these Beatles sites but after watching This video and seeing what a tourist trap it is I'll pass
The Penny Lane road sign behind the perspex screen. One thing you didn't seem to realise is that this sign was autographed by Paul McCartney during his Carpool Karaoke TV programme with James Corden and that is why a protective screen has been put across it.
@@MattWhitingsEurope Hi Matt you probably won't be able to see it just by looking at the video. It's fairly buried amongst the scribblings of others. But if you're actually looking at the sign, you would be able to spot it. Check out the Carpool Karaoke episode on youtube and you'll see Paul actually writing it.
Hola Matt!! VIVA THE BEATLES!!!!!
Hola Eduarado, buenos dias. Te molesto porque estoy proximo a ir a Liverpool en el mes de Octubre y el dato del Taxi me encanto porque voy con mis padres. Tenes algun contacto que puedas facilitarme ? Desde ya gracias y disculpa las molestias
@@MattWhitingsEurope Yeah it was quiet but not completely dead. They stopped the mystery tour bus but folk were still finding their way there. You get a steady flow of buses and cabs daily.
I saw one other person whilst I was at the house and he was the same guy I had bumped into at Lennon's about half an hour earlier. Whilst there we saw a tour guide leave with a couple of people, she said that we might be able to get a tour in the coming days but unfortunately we were both leaving town the next day - it's a real shame as I would have loved to go inside.
The John Lennon statue in Mathew Street had a different head years ago, it was like his Rock N Roll album cover and it was stood on a set of stairs further down the street too. Theres photos of it online still. Only my friend Lynn and I ever noticed that his body and head don't match anymore 😂
It was bought by British Rail in the 1970's and they filled it in (presumably with concrete) so that they could build a ventilation shaft through the area. I don't think the shaft was ever built because water was found nearby and abandoned their plans. Pretty sad really, I don't know what the feasibility is to digging it out again one day. I'd be interested to learn more myself!
Oh my goodness I have no idea where you heard that John and Paul got together and wrote and came up with the concept Sergeant peppers lonely hearts club band. Paul was flying back with Mal. He shared the idea of coming up with them being different characters. Mel said something and Paul thought it was Pepper and that collect and became Sergeant peppers. Paul had to persuade John and George to get into this idea. And this isn’t just hearsay. You can hear it in the band mates on words on UA-cam. So this is so bizarre did they tell you there that that’s what that merry-go-round wants. Also please ignore errors I do not type. Many of you that use the mic understand what I mean. But I have visual issues so it’s real hard to go back over and edit. But generally people can figure it out lol
Fascinating story about the name 'Sgt Pepper' and how it came from a misunderstanding about salt and pepper. Always interesting to hear about these snippets of information!
It’s about a 10 mile walk to do this on foot so about 3.5 hours of walking for the average person. That doesn’t take into account stopping to look around so I’d imagine you’d need a whole day if you’re planning to walk it. Public transport might be an option. Hope that helps.
Hello Karyn, the Cavern Club in Mathew Street is wheelchair accessible. The lift from street level to the club in the basement is not available to the general public so a member of staff will assist. Mathew Street itself will be fine as it's flat but the other pubs and clubs will be a bit hit and miss depending on their facilities. Strawberry Fields is wheelchair accessible and Penny Lane is just one flat long street so should be fine. For more info on the Cavern Club take a look at this link --> www.cavernclub.com/disabled-access/ Hope that helps.
@@MattWhitingsEuropeWow! Thanks for responding. Thanks for the info. I know accessibility will unpredictable and would take a push wheelchair to be able to be pulled up a step or two. Thanks again. 😊
Four cities altogether made The Beatles: Their home city of Liverpool of course Hamburg where they truly became The Beatles London where all their musical potential was allowed to happen New York for being their main platform in conquering America.
Do not take this as criticism you did a good job of things, BUT there is always a but isn't there you left out Richard Starkie's house and the Roundabout at Penny Lane Allerton road junction. Mathew Street today is just a commercial attraction the Cavern isn't the Cavern just name only, the Crack pub was one of their favourites also the Grapes at the bottom of Mathew Street.
Thanks for the constructive feedback, always good to know what I missed - I probably need to start compiling a list for a part 2! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
It's quite a faux pas when you come to think about it. I wonder who actually made the final decision and signed it off thinking no one would ever want to see it?

His mum Julia was knocked down and killed by a car on Menlove Avenue and she is buried in nearby Allerton Cemetery. Brian Epsteins house is a few minutes drive away too. Queens Freddie Mercury once lived in Dovedale Towers which you would have passed on Penny Lane. Thank for the video.👍
Thank you Rossi, some wonderful information right there. So many historical places in such a small area, many of which I was unaware of. Thanks for the information, very interesting to read!
@@MattWhitingsEurope A pleasure Matt. I am a Beatles nut and used to live in the area so it was a treasure trove for me. All the best pal.
As a beatle fan I want to say: thank you for making this video! I enjoyed it and learned a couple of things I didn't know :)
Thanks for watching the video, Ri. Glad you enjoyed it and were able to learn a thing or two! 😃
In the cemetery scene, a beautiful instrumental version of You're always on my mind
Very fitting!
@@paulgallacher5384 Very interesting, I had no idea! Thanks for sharing that with us, Paul.
@@paulgallacher5384 I never knew that either. Thanks for that info.
You missed the grave of John's uncle George ‘Too Good’ Smith. Mimi's husband. It's in St Peter's too
That's a shame, thanks for the heads up. I'll get it next time!
Thanks for a fabulous, hugely enjoyable video tour!
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! Really enjoyed my day!
Liverpool is high on my Bucket List
Hope you make it there, Peter. Highly recommended.
Very interesting, i knew Paul and George as we lived in Speke during the 1950s, and one of our favourite spots was the Speke Oglet shore at the bottom of Dungeon Lane, we used to walk along the shore to Hale Lighthouse, and back,
Thanks for the information, I didn't know there was a lighthouse down that way - sounds like a lovely walk.
Interesting, will do. Thanks!

Your video is by far the best beatles tour vid I have seen you have a fantastic introduction summing up the video and give great insight in your entire tour
Wow, thanks! I really appreciate you saying. Love the Beatles so it was a privilege to see where they spent their younger years and to document it in this video.

Well done Matt … good detail … great memories too … good luck … 👏🔆👏
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your kind words, Peter!
Thank you for so magnificent video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Best, Jeff
Thanks Jeff, much appreciated.
Excellent and to the point, unlike some tour guides who waffle about any old rubbish 😆
Thanks Tracy, appreciate your feedback. I do try and keep on point!
At 1:28 you walked right by a statue of John on your left.
Doh!!
we did the Liverpool pilgrimige in 2016, fully recommend the guided taxi tour, surprised how much Mathew St has changed in just 6yrs.
Sounds great. Amazing to hear that Mathew Street has changed so much, it's funny but I've wanting to go there for about 20 years - should have gone earlier I guess. Thanks for checking out the video!
Excellent video! I’m so excited because I want to make the same tour as you during February😄
Super well presented video Matt, Subscribed.
Thanks very much, Paul. Glad you think so. Welcome aboard!
I like This video ❤ The Beatles Never Die !✔️
Thank you, the work 'legendary' is overused these days but the Beatles are worthy of the word. Thanks for watching!
6:55 - Never realised that the Yorkshire Ripper played for The Beatles! - I'm sure his name was Stuart! 🤣🤣
I think you might be right!! 😂😂😬😬
What a great video, heading to Liverpool this August and definitely going to have the Beatles tour.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! Have fun!!
It would have a been a great experience but probably not the best of video ideas for my channel. 😂
Thank you! Next time I’m going to try and get a tour of those houses - I bet they’re fascinating places to visit!
Thank you for Sharing a wonderful Video..stay safe and Healthy..god bless you
Thanks very much, love the Beatles so this was a lot of fun to make! Thanks for watching.
I went there a while back while visiting the wife's family, we had a great time touring. I took photos of Liverpool & the beatles museum who asked me online if they could use them in their brochures. The cavern then was quite a depth & hot. But overall I found the people friendly & helpful.
Thanks for watching, Dave. Sounds like you had a great time in Liverpool and you got to see plenty of sights related to the Fab Four!
There is still a lot of anger in some quarters about the original Cavern being destroyed. A disgraceful act of vandalism (and corruption)
Good Show Old Bean...Bag Boy...
Thanks Kevin.
Big fan of your work Matt.
Thanks very much, Fleur. Really appreciate you saying!
Just where you were standing when talking about Paul and John meeting at the church fete there was a bench. Just to the left of it as facing it is the grave of John's uncle (Mimi's husband) George Smith.
That's interesting, thanks for letting me know. Lots of history there for sure.
@@MattWhitingsEurope Yeah, Liverpools manager who won 3 European cups is buried there too. Bob Paisley.
Yes I actually saw that whilst I was there but unfortunately it didn't make it into the video. Really interesting place. I guess he's a bit of a legend in Liverpool too?
Just a bit lol
The Beatles Museum on Mathew Street is run by Roag Best, Pete Best's younger brother. St. Peter's church hall was on the opposite side of the road 🎉.
Thanks for the information, always good to learn a bit more!! 👍😃
Fantastic thankyou

Great video
Thanks for the visit
I honestly thought about flying over from America to visit Liverpool so I could see all these Beatles sites but after watching This video and seeing what a tourist trap it is I'll pass
Still worth doing I think, you can find plenty off the beaten track such as the church where John and Paul met that I showed at the end!
The Penny Lane road sign behind the perspex screen. One thing you didn't seem to realise is that this sign was autographed by Paul McCartney during his Carpool Karaoke TV programme with James Corden and that is why a protective screen has been put across it.
Hello Robert, thanks for bringing this to my attention - I didn't know that. I will have to watch the clip on UA-cam!! Thanks for the information. 👍
Thanks Robert, will do.

Gracias por ver, te mando saludos desde Argentina!!
Hola Eduarado, buenos dias. Te molesto porque estoy proximo a ir a Liverpool en el mes de Octubre y el dato del Taxi me encanto porque voy con mis padres. Tenes algun contacto que puedas facilitarme ? Desde ya gracias y disculpa las molestias
I live within viewing distance of Paul's home. I probably saw you doing your video lol
Ha yes you probably did! How busy does it get with tourists? I would imagine it's been fairly quiet the last few years with the pandemic and all?
@@MattWhitingsEurope Yeah it was quiet but not completely dead. They stopped the mystery tour bus but folk were still finding their way there. You get a steady flow of buses and cabs daily.
I saw one other person whilst I was at the house and he was the same guy I had bumped into at Lennon's about half an hour earlier. Whilst there we saw a tour guide leave with a couple of people, she said that we might be able to get a tour in the coming days but unfortunately we were both leaving town the next day - it's a real shame as I would have loved to go inside.
I think some people are dissappointed when they realise that only special tours can go inside.
Yes I'm sure you are right. If I come back to the city in the future I'm definitely going to try and get on a tour of the house.
Is The Cavern Club still open? I heard that it had a hard time during the pandemic…. Hope it is still open.
Yeah it's still open, hopefully it will continue to be long into the future!
You are the best.✌🏼
Very kind, thanks!
The John Lennon statue in Mathew Street had a different head years ago, it was like his Rock N Roll album cover and it was stood on a set of stairs further down the street too. Theres photos of it online still. Only my friend Lynn and I ever noticed that his body and head don't match anymore 😂
Ha that's an interesting snippet of information, I wonder how many other people have noticed it? I wonder what the story behind it is?

No sorry, it just happened to be on in the background when I was taking a look around. Talented guy though!
I went into jonh and pauls chilhood homes 😊
I would love to do that - maybe next time!
You should’ve showed Paul’s signature on the penny land sign
Hi Curtis, to be honest I didn't realise it was there until a few people commented on the videos and told me! Pretty cool!
How was the original Cavern basement get filled in? Concrete ya mean?
They've just unveiled a BRIAN EPSTEIN STATUE in LIVERPOOL and the crowd there are singing BEATLE SONGS it's on UA-cam so have a look 😁🤞🎸🎼
Sounds good, maybe something to include in the follow up if I ever do one! Where exactly is it?
How long does it take to do this tour on foot?
It’s about a 10 mile walk to do this on foot so about 3.5 hours of walking for the average person. That doesn’t take into account stopping to look around so I’d imagine you’d need a whole day if you’re planning to walk it. Public transport might be an option. Hope that helps.
Who was the young lad on stage at the Cavern and what was he singing?
Unfortunately I don't know. I did try and figure it out when editing the video together but couldn't find the answer.
If anyone does know I'll gladly add a link to the video's description if you send me the details.
Hi. Do you happen to know if these places are (power) wheelchair accessible? I’m a huge Beatles fan and going to Matthew Street would be so awesome. 😊
You're welcome! Have a great trip.
Four cities altogether made The Beatles:
Their home city of Liverpool of course
Hamburg where they truly became The Beatles
London where all their musical potential was allowed to happen
New York for being their main platform in conquering America.
Very good point. Interesting stuff!
The Beatles ask to be the backing group for Billy Fury another Liverpool star...!!
Cool!
Someone should point out that the place is Strawberry Field not Strawberry Fields.
Thanks for the information, point well made.
i don't know why I' crying but I am, gee its ridiculous, help me
Let it out!

I cannot believe that people allowed the original cavern to get demolished!!
It's quite a faux pas when you come to think about it. I wonder who actually made the final decision and signed it off thinking no one would ever want to see it?
