@@lazareth7598 Nothing for 23 hours. She was still wrapped up in trying to get her pets evacuated with her. I told her she needs to get out now (21 hours ago), but that likely fell on deaf ears. We love her for who she is, and I hope for the best.
Zep: "that I can turn in for the Purple Scrips -- " Me: "Okay, probably working on upgrading to endgame scrip gear, or selling/stockpiling mats" Zep: " -- so I can get a really cute outfit, so I can look like a forest gnome . . . bunny." . . . never change, Zepla. lol
Honestly, true endgame crafting/gathering gear isn’t available yet. So the best gear right now for crafters and gatherers really is the class-specific stuff you can get for scrips.
@@powerofk How'd you figure that out? Overmelding the lvl90 AR-Cean crafted gear for gathering and crafting far suppasses the stats of full purple scrip.
Super interesting! I started playing FFXIV in trial mode recently. Getting close to level 30 as a marauder. It's impressive how much stuff is in the game. Most of this sounded like a foreign language, but very cool, heh. Nice video. :)
So does wow except on wow Yu can pvp open n world pvp do rated ranked brackets there's definitely way more major city's then ff14 where people can hang out but ff14 Andy's will say catgirla beat everything fuqing weebs
@@masterpain7742 let the casuals play FFXIV and roleplay as cat girl and yes game is boring pvp is trash only savage optimization and ultimate are fun the rest you just run around with your mount doing nothing
@@Reinforce_Zwei I turn in basically everything I can for now. I'm also not saying I farm poetics to do this, I just exchange what I get, which can be 1-3k depending on what I do that day. The rings are worth almost 1800 seals.
The best method I've found is to run Sirensong Sea solo. It takes about 8 mins per run at level 90, depending on what job you use, and the gear from 1 run will earn you around 15000 seals.
Took me a month of regular attempts at P3S to finally clear it. Absolutely murdered any motivation to even attempt P4S. I'm mostly just doing dailies on XIV these days. Lol. Good luck, man.
I've been playing for 2 years and had msq the entire time until i caught up and finished EW, so I'm finally for the first time experiencing endgame and I'm all over the place in what I do because I have SO MUCH that still needs to get done. I mostly have been focusing on unlocking any duties I missed from past expansions. I've also been focusing on getting my level 90 equipment lately and doing roulettes for that. I really want to do a lot of the extremes since I haven't done many of them yet. I'm itching for some harder content but haven't been able to get around to them yet.
To be fair, you can solo FATE farm on any job with a healer-spec choco, it's certainly not WAR exclusive. PLD also excels at this given the massive amounts of self-healing we also get. Of course, sub-70, the master FATE soloer is BLU.
I heard about you on the news. As a fellow warrior of light, I am very worried about you. I hope that you will be able to return to your normal peaceful life. And I hope that you will be able to spend your time in Eorzea with a smile on your face.
I tend to be an unfocused headless chicken when I play sometimes, haha. I have so many things that I want to do that I get distracted and end up doing a little bit of a bunch of things. Lately though, I've been having a ton of fun going back through side quests on my WAR since I don't want to do dungeons to level it. I mix in things like Frontline and wonderous tales for exp, and some solo FATEs (which is helping with my Bozja weapon too), but I'm having a blast doing it with my trusty chocobo!
The amount of extra little things I saw that you could do in FFxiv from just watching this 14min vid is honestly blowing my mind. Zepla was going into menus I never even knew existed lmao .
I'm pretty new, but another thing I do on a daily basis is buy the GC turn ins for gathering classes just to passively level them. I also get my daily map allowance, and I also do the centurio Lv. 3 hunts in both Ishgard and Kugane every day because I'm farming for the wyvern mount. On top of this I'm doing ARR beast tribe quests, bc like I said I'm new, and of course most of my roulettes (PVP including, frontline is actually a blast). Edit: also I go to gold saucer and get my daily scratch offs :) My GC is flames, so basically I do retainer, squadron, GC turn in, MGP scratch offs first thing when I log in, takes like 5 mins for all that and then I move in to beast tribe and hunts.
@@yScribblezHD Try joining a hunt linkshell. I don't even think to touch the hunt bill boards, because I have gotten every centurion seal mount, barding, emote, and minion within about a month just jumping on stormblood zone hunt trains and any S ranks. They aren't as common as they were before ew launch but I'm sure you can still find groups scouting them. Also S ranks in ARR, HW, and SB zones all give centurion seals and all hunt linkshells are doing callouts for those. I've also made 100 million Gil since EW release just doing EW zone hunt trains, collecting the bags of nuts and anthro clusters, trading them all for X materia, then selling those on the mb.
@@HorusDeathtouch Yeah I was doing hunt trains for Shb and EW when I finish, but the centurio trains are a lot more sparse (on the discord servers I'm in). Ive been desperately trying to find a linkshell :P
The melee role quests were my favorite! Really didn't expect those guys to come back and I'm glad they did! Got some closure for them and their commander, also Merlwyb is best Grand Company leader in Eorzea. Still miss her ARR voice
Speaking of missing the ARR voices, the original VA for Raubahn, JC Miller, is also the singer for the Shadowbringers theme as well as Close the Distance, the song which plays area 6 of Endwalker. Real multi-talented guy.
Honestly going into this video I thought to myself, “well this is where I learn the difference between a successful player and me” and no kidding, we sound so similar with what we do in game! I was actually more relieved than I thought I would be.
top tip. use a market board searcher, search across your servers, and if its cheaper i always hop world and buy it from there. sometimes i hop world, clear out the cheap server and relist it locally for profit
During the week, I only have two hours at most a day, so I concentrate on stuff I can do solo: 1. Retainer management (check what they did while I was away, update what i sell, send them on one hour quests) 2. Squadron. Just check the result of yesterday and send them to work again for 18 hours. 3. Tribal quests. Both to unlock mounts and level some jobs so I try to do the quests with a job at a matching level. Or at least to finish the quest with a job with a matching level. Doing Kobold quests with a Paladin drove me nuts. 4. Usually the retainers are back at this point, so I go back managing them. 5. Level a job efficiently (compared to doing beast tribes) or do some special deliveries. Unless there is some kind of seasonal event you need to grind, in which case I would usually do it at that point. Presently, I usually level my leatherworker class as I don't have a level 90 doh yet. 6. Prepare to go to bed by sending the retainers who just came back on an 18 hours mission. On the weekend, no real plan. Today, I started leveling a Conjurer because I did not have a healer job yet and I did not feel like running dungeons.
As a player that started back on the 1.0 launch but has really fallen off the last couple of expansion, your enthusiasm is infectious and has got me hyped to try and get back into FFXIV again!
I do a lot of these things as well in my daily routine. Lately I also try to grab 1 group-of-eight treasure map every day, just like my friends, and then we meet up once a week to find the treasures and do the portal dungeons. It's great to get some rare materials and it's also just fun^-^
The Healer role quest is fantastic, gives a lot of closure to a story that really needed it. Working on leveling DNC so I can do the ranged DPS quest because I've heard good things about it
Right now, my daily routine is running the same dungeon over and over to get all my jobs leveled through my grand company squad...I lost count on how many Stone Vigil and Aurum Vale I have run in the last couple of days....
@@JDxxxxxx Undoubtedly. Especially if you have like 5 or 6 dps classes to level up...15 minutes at least of waiting time for 1 lvl/dungeons (roughly) for 6 classes up to lvl 60 that's roughly 90 hours spend just waiting for queues to pop...
The lootbox only provides unbound stuff, so mounts are very rare, because there are simply more minions than mounts, and the lootbox do not prevent you from getting something you already own.
OMG I decided to play after watching some of your vids... However the website to sign up for the trial was a nightmare to figure out how to download the FF client.
Thought I was the only one, i finally finished all ShB side quests, and I do 5 lvls for each class till i hit max. Currently going to 80 with 4 classes to go.
This is the second video I've ever watched of Zepla's and her charisma is just so easy to see. I love her voice and listening to her speak, she's very eloquent and articulate, and I also find that we share alot of similarities! I too like to keep my inventory tidy, I'm mostly a one-game andy with FF, among other things :D It just makes me really happy that I now have a female streamer/content creator I can look forward to watching. Glad I found you Zepla!
In reference to your pixie beast tribe segment, my friend discovered that if you do Frontline roulette, you can switch jobs once you're in and it will give you MSQ levels of experience in the job you originally queued as.
did not know about the unidentifiable ore tradeins! i've been gardening a lot lately, and definitely always find myself in need of topsoil- thanks for the tip!
For me, Triple Triad and now Mahjong have really been motivators. Also thanks for detailing about the menus and other neat things - there's probably video content in just some of the topics you talked about unless I missed them.
I've loved Triple Triad since I picked it up, and love keeping up with it, but mahjong, man. I had to watch multiple how-to videos on UA-cam and I think I could _maybe_ beat the moogle at this point lol. But I do want to practice and get better.
My daily routine is: retainers > queue for leveling roulette > Pixies > other beast tribes I haven't completed (Vanu and Vath, at the moment) > expert roulette. After that, working on Wondrous Tales, one of my alts, or some other chunk of content - postmoogle, Hildebrand, relics, etc.
This was really helpful (: I've been wanting to find more things to do after beating endwalker, so this was PERFECT to give me more activities to enjoy the MMO I love
Fates are 14k per fate if the vouchers are selling for 100k on your server. You need 100 gemstones for a 100k voucher, which means each gemstone is worth 1,000 gil. And if a fate give you 14 stones, that's 14k. Get into a fate party and next thing you know, you've made a million gil in a few hours. Solo maps are another fun side hobby.
I really enjoy your videos as they are made for all sorts of players, but with an amazing focus on new and "casual" players with the intention to improve their gameplay experience. I would say that I am kind of an HC-raider, clearing all the past savages , I was playing FFXIV in week 1 plus all Ultimates. But still, I really enjoy your calm and joyful way of explaining ffxiv-related topics. Maybe I will have the opportunity to do some savage or ex-trials with you in the future. :) Keep on making such great videos and amazing streams. greets from Germany!
- Log in - Do daily roulettes for tomestones - Do any normal fights I haven’t done yet - Stare at my job menu to decided which Alt job to level to 90 - Run a leveling roulette and maybe some dungeons. - Maybe farm glam. - Get bored and log out Of course there’s also savage prog but that’s once a week and almost done. I hope they add more for me to do later in the expansion. I really like this game and want to spend more time playing it, but since both my main and secondary job are maxed out on gear I feel like there’s nothing worth doing. I don’t need Gil, I’m not interested in more mounts, and I don’t want to do crafting and gathering stuff. I want something else to do that advances my power, something that feels worth it. Yeah it might make the game more grindy like other MMOs but I think that’s ok tbh. I just want to play the game more but not feel like I’m wasting my time. Hoping Unreal Trails and the reworked PvP system helps.
It's understandable that you want to keep playing the game and finding more things you enjoy and want to do in the game. But at the same time, realize the game respects your time. It's completely valid to unsub until new content comes out that you're interested in. Forcing yourself to login in the hopes of finding something you like leads to burnout.
@@LevaniaMeyano I keep hearing that but I disagree. Respecting my time would be not forcing me to play to feel optimal but at the same time giving me an incentive to log in so that I don’t feel like I’m wasting my time when I do
@@James-kv3ll Well, this is what I'll tell you right now. If nothing in the game as it is interests you enough and you feel like you're wasting your time. Then that's not going to change with future patches. FFXIV is very consistent and predictable with their patches and content. New savages. New alliances. New dungeons. New extremes. New deep dungeon and/or bozja/eureka type content on a very predictable patch cycle. Occasionally they'll introduce something new, like the upcoming island sanctuary or Blue Mage. The only incentive that you need to play the game is wanting to do something in the game. Not the game itself telling you should play the game.
My daily routine is different depends on the day of the week, where Tuesday is most important xD but let me just say, that in last week, I manage to get more than 100 orchestrion scrolls to my collections, and I still have a big list of those I don't have. And while having more than 2500 hours in game, there's still sooooo many things I never did/tried and so many plans to do, crazy! :)
My cat also likes to burrow in between my back and computer chair. Thanks for the video. I have a similar routine to yours minus the savage content, but I plan to one day do those when I can identify the job that I'm best with.
I think it's neat you didn't like the melee role quests but liked the ranged ones, because I had the complete opposite feel with them! I'm still leveling tank and healer but out of the other three I've liked them as caster>melee>range phys. The rest of your routine is very similar to what I do! Hope you continue to do well both in game and out
Subbed years ago, slowly saw this channel turn into a vlog channel, which isn't the content I originally subbed for. Sad to leave, but good luck in the future
As a sprout who just started last November, but has 600 hours and currently on the main quest actually called "Stormblood", I start my routine by making sure my inventory is sorted and confirming my 2 retainers ventures and sending them back out (they are also my main storage location). Then I do stuff with my squadron and send them out again. Turn in any equipment I don't want to my grand company for seals and purchase anything if I need it from there. Then I start doing all my roulettes, except main scenario. I am currently playing/leveling PLD, GNB, AST, and DNC, so I just play whatever I feel like at the time or whatever the role buff is for each roulette. During any queue times I will do any class quests if I have them, as well as check the price of some things on the marketboard. After all that, I run around just doing whatever, mostly involving solo farming the extreme/savage duties for items, if there is anything that I want, and doing the relic weapon upgrade quests . . . from ARR (I just think they are fun and I like the idea of having to go through a bunch of long quests to upgrade the weapon the "canon" way lol). I am also getting all the crafters to level 50 right now when I don't feel like fighting.
I work from home so logging into FFXIV is part of my daily login routine. When work is busy I'm usually hanging out near a retainer bell, selling things, crafting things, setting ventures. If I'm not at a bell, I'm out gathering between work calls. When work dies down I might run some Trust dungeons or do some low key farms in party finder. After work is when I'll see how I feel about roulettes that day, do what I feel like and go from there. The struggle of getting my inventory under control is real. I don't like getting rid of anything because the second I do, I'll need it. I'm currently working on all of the en mass crafting achievements so I can finally clear out all of the older mats I won't otherwise need anymore. Thank you for reminding me about beast tribe quests! I had maxed out their stories forever ago but now that I have classes to level again I'll have to go visit the pixies ^.^
As someone who is freshly trying to figure out what my endgame day is like, the shared fate tab showing the gemstone levels.....absolute gamechanger. this video worth it to watch for that singular revelation alone!!
Hey Zepla I saw a video of you doing mentor roulette a while back and enjoyed it! I hope you continue doing that, and if so, I hope it's going well! I just got my Astrope the other day and I'm soooooo happy with it.
Honestly this video appealed to me because I joined FF14 right at Endwalker. That means I got a wealth of content and stuff to go through. This also means my friend group tries to show me some of the side content while also trying not to overwhelm me. As I complete some of the side stuff and make pretty good progress on main story; I was curious what a "normal" day-to-day might be for players who are near the end of content. This video lets me know what I have to look forward to and what to consider once I reached that point for my normal day-to-day post main game content.
Same. I started playing last May and have felt like it's been a whirlwind. While I've been having a lot of fun, it can defintiely be overwhelming to see how much there is to do. It's nice to see that my days are pretty close to Zepla's besides some of the content being older.
My daily routine in FFXIV is a double life actually. I maintain a main & alt. So I'll explain what I do on the main first, which is what I tend to use first. I tend to instantly queue up for MSQ roulette as soon as I log in. Reason being it's the only roulette I tend to want to do. Sometimes I do more, but not often. I know, sounds crazy, but I only have healers/tanks left to level (all my DPS are 90) & I don't really like taking tanks/heals into "real" content. I login my mornings, so while doing MSQ rou during long cutscenes, I eat breakfast. Today, however, I did MSQ rou + Alliance raid rou, so more than usual. When I finish my rou(s), I'll do my Gold Saucer Cactpot. If there's a GATE up, I'll do that first unless it is Any Way The Wind Blows or Slice Is Right. I don't like those GATEs. When those things are done, I'll do Pixie beast tribes. When Pixies are done, I do the Lv80-90 hunt marks (not hunt trains, the marks from the board). If it's reset day, I get a wonderous tails & if I can, I finish it as fast as possible. Not for the rewards, but for the exp. For me, the rewards are bonus. That's pretty much it for the main. Then the alt comes. It's very similar to the main, minus MSQ rou. I go to the Gold Saucer to do Cactpot. If a GATE is up, I'll do it. I'll do my SB beast tribes because I have two jobs still sub 70s. When I finish those, I go on to the Pixie beast tribes. I do the Pixies on the only job I have in the 70s atm (PLD). I then also do the Lv70-80 hunt marks with the PLD. When that's finished, I do the Lv80-90 hunt marks with whatever job I'm leveling in that level range (all jobs but PLD, DRK, & WAR are in the 80s on my alt). Currently, it's my DRG that's leveling, which is Lv89, so very close. Once all of that is done, I'll do the Grand Company turn ins to level my gathers/crafts. I only do the ones with the star next to them for the crafters, while I always do the gatherer ones star or no star. If it's a reset day, In between all this, I'll also do the weekly crafting/gathering turn ins. I usually only do them with crafters. It sounds very busy & tbh it is. I do get kinda tired when I finish all of this. However, I get it done pretty quickly & only play the game in my mornings/early afternoons & the rest of the day is free to me. Rare is it that my game time goes into late afternoon/evening unless I didn't have time to play the game earlier (which is why I queue up right away when I log in in the morning) or maybe I was chatty with friends on Discord/in-game could be another reason of game time hitting late afternoon (that's not everyday tho). I play in EU servers as an American, so if I held off my MSQ rou for later, that queue time wouldn't be fun. This might be too long for reading but meh, that's my routine. The routine is going to change soon tho because I'm very close to maxing out on main (full 90s), so then it'll be my alts turn to max out which is not too far behind tbh.
Prepping for DR savage (yes in EW), so grinding out Dal, fates, CE's, etc. its fun, trying different classes and lost actions keeps it fresh. then i go faint in gridania near the light pole and random passers-by /pat me
All the above. Retainers, beast tribe quests, roulettes and also have been farming bunny FATEs in Eureka lately and crafting to stack gil for the upcoming housing expansion.
Started ff14 in april 2021. Finished EW. But still have normal (alliance) raids from HW, SB and ShB to do. Also leveling jobs I like first and crafting/ gathering. There is so much to do! Just finished FF tactics alliance raid, loved that story. My routine looks a bit like yours, but also do frontline cause you get a lot of xp and can switch to the job you want to play and get the xp for the job you registered in.
What I started doing with poetics is buying Crystarium rings (Cryptlurker), which I then turn into the Grand company VIA expert deliveries for 1800 GCS a piece. Then I buy the new lootboxes with them. I buy the rings as they are the only ones not unique and you can carry a ton of them.
I hope ur staying safe Zepla!! I hope this isn’t too weird to ask, but where did you grow up? You have a (very subtle) southern accent and I’m curious if ur from the Carolinas like me!
I've been doing my stormblood beast tribes with the few jobs I have left in the 60s, fairy beast tribe, aughts, leveling, trial and raid roulettes, just to keep the supplies coming where I want them and I get it all done in like an hour and a half. After that, I'm free to do whatever I'm in the mood for and it's been nice.
I didn't know about the added lootboxes at the GC! I'm always racking my brain on what to do with the excess seals. e.g. sometimes glamour prisms, moonstones, repair materials... but now I have a 'fun' thing to get :D
First thing I do everyday is frontline xD. Then trial rolo and maybe alliance/expert. Basically everything you have mentioned in this video (: Would love to get into savage content someday, but kind of resting from any ffxiv content atm -- also really looking forward to the new alliance content (: (and island sanctuary!)
To answer, my girlfriend and I both got XIV when it went back in sale end of January. We got on the new Oceana server (despite being eastern US) for that sweet +100%exp. We play a few night a week and already have our main jobs at 50 and just picked up 2nd jobs (SAM and RDM). When we play, we usually start with leveling roulette to benefit from our rested bonus, then plug away at a few MS quests (still 30-ish realm reborn). And then tinker with a few DoH or DoL tasks
When I log in I check my retainers so I can send them off on a quick exploration or if something they can gather is selling well I tell them to start getting that. then I go to my grand company to check on my squadron and to turn anything in that i can for seals. Then if I have the patience i do Leveling, MSQ and Alliance roulettes so I can get some tomes and XP. then I'm off to continue MSQ.
My daily routine is similar to yours. The only thing I don't currently do is the Pixie beast tribes since I have all the beast tribes completed. I may start doing that for leveling. Other than that, I just finished the Shared FATEs for EW. I've been fishing like mad for the past 4-5 months, and I'm only left with 5 big fish to catch, so I usually try to check my tracker every few hours to keep up with fishing windows. I'm also an omni-collector, so I have been on this tear for the last 6-8 months or so, working on completing all the collectables in FFXIVCollect and Lalachievements. I've collected a bunch myself, but some stuff I have straight up purchased, and I've collected everything that isn't more than a mil my server. So I also like to do a DC sweep of about 9 items to try to get a good deal on something I haven't collected yet. I like to raid with my static but starting a new night shift job has forced me to step back from that. And when I'm not doing any of that stuff, I like to bulk craft/fish for achievements. Yep, I'm great at parties
I literally was thinking about this, this morning since I'm still busy going through MSQ, but I've never experienced FFXIV when I don't have any more MSQ quests.
My daily checklist: Frontlines until 1 win (those mounts will be mine!) The other roulettes I feel like doing, usually alliance+levelling. Free map=free money Mini cactpot Raid or whatever grind I feel like doing at the time (eureka, bozja, pf farms, fates, crafter stuff, relic, mentor, trust, totems etc). Beast tribes will come back on the list when they add the new ones. Tomes are turned in at random intervals, mainly to get relic stuff in advance, and raidgear obv.
As someone who's still 2 patches into FFXIV and has a lot of content to do, very often its always different xD Last time I was doing Return to Ivalyce after already recently doing Omega, Mnach Storyline, Eden and Attunement Sidr Quests and I rly needed a break from lore xD Ima return to it post-6.1 story) So my daily stuff when I log in and on break from story progressing is: - Arkasodara Daily Quests - Trial Daily Roulette (personally the one I find most fun) - (If im in the mood for it) MSQ and Raid roulettes - (Weekly) Custom Deliveries - Ocasionally I decide to fill up the Challenge Log or do some farming in Eureka if im in the mood for it - Crafter High-cost ishgard levequests every week or 2 (they cost 10 so its easier to go through them and I don't risk going through burnout of doing 1 by 1 till its down to 0)
Taking a break after getting all my jobs to cap, but my daily routine is usually expert roulette for the tomes, alliance roulette for the materia, normal raid roulette for the fun of it and possibly progress towards a tank mount achievement. Then sometime during the week I'll tackle the weekly Blue Mage carnivale challenges for an easy 100 teleport tickets.
retainers - garden plots - pixies - seals - squadron - at least 3 of the daily roulettes always depends on what I am vibing - usually by then if friends are on I get distracted with something else. I try to set myself little goals that way when I am able to be on I can feel a little accomplished. I don' t always have a ton of time so two or three things knocked out always feels good. I always remind myself, too, I don't have to log on every day (unless I have garden plots rolling) so it isn't a bad thing if I miss a day. I will get to where I want to be eventually.
My daily routine: log in towards the evening and seek out the most popular night club for the night. Having the best of times just meeting new people lately
GC turn ins, beast tribes for leveling, expert, and checking MB for crafting. Then work on grinding fates for leveling and unlocking vouchers. Hoping to hit enough gil to hopefully buy a good sized home. :(
My daily play is retainers, GC crafting/gathering turn-ins, do certain roulettes, and beast tribe quests. If there’s a PF doing unsynced mount farms I’ll join. I’m not at max for every job but I’m taking my time with levelling.
My routine starts with offloading anything that doesn't sell well on the market board at the Doman Enclave, tend to the HW beast tribes to get the dance emotes, and if it's Tuesday see what custom deliveries have bonuses on to pretty much max out on white & purple scrip in one go and then not look at it again till the next week XD
Coming from eight years of WOW, the five year break, I’m amazed how much there is to do in FF14. Main is 65 just starting Stormblood, a few other jobs at 40-50, huge armoury issues with all the gear though! I like retainers too and figuring out what’s selling. I’d like to try the Firmament and so on but just no time, it also didn’t seem as quick to level as some videos suggest, plus the problem of the inspected mats taking room. Enjoying myself a lot.
I am 15 days into a brand new subscription brand new character so my typical day is a lot of XP farming. I just finished ARR main msqs to the point of being able to fly and I haven't passed any more of those I switched to a new job and started ranking it. I've also need you to subscriber to your channel and I love the little bit of content that I have watched so far thank you very much for being a wealth of knowledge!
Honestly, for me, I’m simply running a daily expert roulette to get tomestones of astronomy, then run to get quick purple gathering scrips (takes like 10 minutes to get at least 480, as lvl 90 one stars are available back-to-back-to-back-to back starting at 4 o’clock Eorzean Time AM and PM) then I do some ARR beast tribes (the only side story content I haven’t finished). Once a week, I’ll do normal raids to get gear tokens, and once a week do custom deliveries in the Firmament to get crafting scrips (both white and purple). I’ve honestly done all other story content, and when I finish getting all the DoL gear, I’ll switch to crafting collectibles to get more purple crafting scrips to buy the DoH gear. As for the role quests, yes, I’ve finished all of them. What’s crazy is how ridiculously easy the final solo duties are for them - the hardest one for me was healer (though I pretty much suck at healer, honestly). None of them are great stories, but they all kind of wrap up nagging issues the various city-states have had due to the events that occurred during the stories that focused on them. Want to know how the people of Doma have handled not seeing justice served as pertains to Yotsuyu? Do the ranged DPS role quests. Want to know how Ishgardian faith and clergy have been affected by the revelations of Heavensward? Do the caster role quests. Want to see if Fordola can accept redemption? Do the healer role quests. Is Limsa Lominsa really committed to peace with the beast tribes? Do the melee DPS quests. And what about Gridania’s story (which you really only understand if you started in Gridania and/or picked up white mage, honestly)? Do the tank quests.
I've heard everyone say they hate the Tank role-quests and I haven't understood why because I liked it, but you really hit the nail on the head there... I started in Gridania as a Conjurer and that has been my main all the way through this game sooo... I get it now xD
@@Leffelini Part of the issue, as well, is that the role quests were, well, way too similar to each other. And I mean, sure, the details were different, but their similarities were so much that if you did one, you did them all. And yes, I did them all. The role quests in Shadowbringers were also fairly similar to each other, but they weren’t as boring because each one dove into a tale that really expanded the lore of the First. It was nice to see you teach Fordola to start to learn to forgive herself in the Healer role quest, and finding out that Gosetsu has become a White Mage in the ranged DPS role quest was funny, so these are probably the best two in my opinion. I enjoyed the caster role quest mostly because Aymeric is, well, Aymeric. As I said, the problem with the tank role quest is that it’s a continuation of stuff from the Gridania opening story (which not all players get) and the White Mage job quests, which again, not everyone has done. And the problem I had with melee DPS was well, they brought back the team from one of the most annoying parts of ARR and didn’t really have it be anything other than a monster hunt. I mean, they do make you the acting commander of the Company of Heroes and have you give orders, but the orders are ultimately inconsequential. As for tiers, well, nothing gets S tier, and not even A tier. I’d give the healer and ranged DPS B grades, caster B- (just because of Aymeric - without Aymeric, I’d mark it a C), and the tank and melee DPS C’s.
Take care, Zepla. Hope you're able to get to safety.

I've been using my poetics to get augmented cryptlurker rings and turn those in for seals so I can get the minion boxes.
same. Less efficient, but also less effort than the soil method
My poetics go in materials for Anima/Zodiac weapons....The Anima ones are so darn expensive in poetics :P
Just roll on literally everything from the lvl 80 dungeons upwards. They all trade in for like 1600 each
@@Reinforce_Zwei I turn in basically everything I can for now.
My daily schedule: Wiping on p3s prog for 11 hours, 1 hour of erp in limsa.

Regarding the healer role quest:
It began as ok. It ended as a feels trip.
it actually began very very boring and uninteresting but it ended up surprisingly pretty good!

I really appreciate your videos on the different things to do or how to make Gil. They give me a good starting point on what to tackle next.
During the week, I only have two hours at most a day, so I concentrate on stuff I can do solo:
1. Retainer management (check what they did while I was away, update what i sell, send them on one hour quests)
Hey Zeplah. I hope everything is going okay for you in this rough time. Hoping for an update soon.
I do a lot of these things as well in my daily routine. Lately I also try to grab 1 group-of-eight treasure map every day, just like my friends, and then we meet up once a week to find the treasures and do the portal dungeons. It's great to get some rare materials and it's also just fun^-^
This is so helpful, thank you! Currently obsessed with crafting which I have been putting off since I returned after a 6 year hiatus.
Zepla, much respect and gratitude for your videos. You bring knowledge and clarity about the game with a friendly tone.
I've stopped playing for awhile as after Endwalker I just feel abit burnt out, I hope I get the mojo back soon for the game >
Really? Is that a good way to level?
@@JDxxxxxx Undoubtedly. Especially if you have like 5 or 6 dps classes to level up...15 minutes at least of waiting time for 1 lvl/dungeons (roughly) for 6 classes up to lvl 60 that's roughly 90 hours spend just waiting for queues to pop...
Wait.... you can get mounts from grand company loot boxes? I've open dozens of those and have only received minions.
I've only gotten one in like 30-40+ boxes so the chance is probably pretty low to begin with.
I've still got too much old side content. My real end goal is to eliminate all non-repeatable quest markers.

Just picked up Mahjong too!!! I thought it was gonna be a steep learning curve, but I noticed some similarities with poker, which made it easy

Hope you are ok with what is currently goimg on over there. Best wishes and hope we get to see/hear from you soon!
My daily routine is different depends on the day of the week, where Tuesday is most important xD but let me just say, that in last week, I manage to get more than 100 orchestrion scrolls to my collections, and I still have a big list of those I don't have.

I've been getting into player housing and visiting all the different kinds of venues people run. It's a lot of fun, and nice way to meet people.
Watching you and videos just makes me smile. Thanks!!
Just wait... The Tank Role Quest makes the Melee DPS Role Quest look like the Physical Ranged Role Quest. -.-
Take care Zepla! I hope you’re sound and safe and get out of there
Honestly this video appealed to me because I joined FF14 right at Endwalker.
The routine is going to change soon tho because I'm very close to maxing out on main (full 90s), so then it'll be my alts turn to max out which is not too far behind tbh.
motivating me to play more, to get through more of ARR and get closer to end game and to more of the story. i love your puns, never change.

Very helpful video thank you reminds me of what I need to be doing.
Basically everything you have mentioned in this video (:
Would love to get into savage content someday, but kind of resting from any ffxiv content atm -- also really looking forward to the new alliance content (: (and island sanctuary!)
My daily checklist:
Frontlines until 1 win (those mounts will be mine!)
The other roulettes I feel like doing, usually alliance+levelling.
Free map=free money
Mini cactpot
Raid or whatever grind I feel like doing at the time (eureka, bozja, pf farms, fates, crafter stuff, relic, mentor, trust, totems etc).
Beast tribes will come back on the list when they add the new ones. Tomes are turned in at random intervals, mainly to get relic stuff in advance, and raidgear obv.
As someone who's still 2 patches into FFXIV and has a lot of content to do, very often its always different xD
Last time I was doing Return to Ivalyce after already recently doing Omega, Mnach Storyline, Eden and Attunement Sidr Quests and I rly needed a break from lore xD Ima return to it post-6.1 story)
So my daily stuff when I log in and on break from story progressing is:
- Arkasodara Daily Quests
- Trial Daily Roulette (personally the one I find most fun)
- (If im in the mood for it) MSQ and Raid roulettes
- (Weekly) Custom Deliveries
- Ocasionally I decide to fill up the Challenge Log or do some farming in Eureka if im in the mood for it
- Crafter High-cost ishgard levequests every week or 2 (they cost 10 so its easier to go through them and I don't risk going through burnout of doing 1 by 1 till its down to 0)
Taking a break after getting all my jobs to cap, but my daily routine is usually expert roulette for the tomes, alliance roulette for the materia, normal raid roulette for the fun of it and possibly progress towards a tank mount achievement. Then sometime during the week I'll tackle the weekly Blue Mage carnivale challenges for an easy 100 teleport tickets.
really needed this vid around this time lmao thank god
retainers - garden plots - pixies - seals - squadron - at least 3 of the daily roulettes always depends on what I am vibing - usually by then if friends are on I get distracted with something else.
Take care girl, stay safe!
What I do ever since I was a kid playing MMOs is alternate between a MMO (pve) and a pvp focused game. It changes the dynamic and things stay fresh.
Same here, currently play FFXIV and Apex
GC turn ins, beast tribes for leveling, expert, and checking MB for crafting. Then work on grinding fates for leveling and unlocking vouchers. Hoping to hit enough gil to hopefully buy a good sized home. :(
My daily play is retainers, GC crafting/gathering turn-ins, do certain roulettes, and beast tribe quests. If there’s a PF doing unsynced mount farms I’ll join. I’m not at max for every job but I’m taking my time with levelling.
every day starts at the gold saucer, mini cactpot and one GATE.
I use to play 14 everyday but i just log in , do dailies for 450 cap tome to gear up my machinist and log off. Im retired from playing my reaper lol
I've also need you to subscriber to your channel and I love the little bit of content that I have watched so far thank you very much for being a wealth of knowledge!
i've always wanted you to make such a video , it's very helpful thank you
Honestly, for me, I’m simply running a daily expert roulette to get tomestones of astronomy, then run to get quick purple gathering scrips (takes like 10 minutes to get at least 480, as lvl 90 one stars are available back-to-back-to-back-to back starting at 4 o’clock Eorzean Time AM and PM) then I do some ARR beast tribes (the only side story content I haven’t finished).
Sounds boring do pvp like a realan u weirdo
