I hope this guide helps you on your way in getting some solid gear right from the start and to explain some of the very basics about making money & artifacts. What's your opinion on the game so far? 👇📝
Get Shop Class and Weighted Water artifacts and Lead Line 2 Spots on your Suit/Body Armor and you'll have what should've been the default Stamina Consumption & Recharge. It literally changes it from 60% Walking Sim, to a passable Survival Horror.
Yeah that setup is great once you get further along, it makes life so much easier, because dude don't get me started on how many hours I've spent walking for what felt like hours....over encumbered....out of Energy drinks but refusing to drop certain loot.
Huge tip - Malachite go to the back, up the ladder and follow the big pipes all the way around. You CAN make all the jumps. Drop down ok the catwalk. Youll find great armor😊
Skifs pistol is slept on. It’s a solid back up with armor piercing rounds, it’s DIRT CHEAP to repair, extended mag and silencer for it helps it go a LONG way. My only issue…. I’d use it more if I could equip a sight to it….
It definitely is slept on and to be completely transparent; I've never used any other pistol other than Skif's pistol; simply never felt the need to. Even over a 30+ yard range it's still very accurate. Red dot would be nice :)
I have not completed the game yet, but I find the true enemy is weight distribution. If I leave the base with three primary weapons, not including the pistol, I get very close to my maximum weight, and if I find any item I want to pick up, I max out my weight. I can't move, and my only choices are to drop an item I took time to find or load a previous save to get out of the mess I created. In short, I'll take just one primary weapon and let the chips fall where they may.
You're so right, this is a classic mechanic and pitfall! Games like these always call out the inner hoarder in me and with Stalker 2 it's no different; and I'm always 1km+ away from any trader or private box location whenever I reach max weight capacity.
That's true about the detector not going off, it does seem to be an energy surge of some kind though. I thought about it having a psi-origin too but when you're out in an Emission you don't get these wonky psi-effect voices and hallucinations. Looking at the rate by which you take damage, for me, it comes closest to when you are suffering from high levels of radiation. Bottom-line though; run like hell when you are caught out in the open 😅
after the latest patch, i decided to stop playing for a while. couldn't bare taking a gamble whether i would get stuck at shaders compilation every time i started the game.
Mám this game is... Something.... It's immersive and atmospheric and awesome... But also broken and stupid in some ways....I played the first games ages ago...
That's exactly how this game feels like...a slow burn, and I mean that positively. You can get a lot of hours out of this game, even when you're doing anything BUT the main storyline.
You forgot about 2 most important things that new players must know. 1. you will encounter many bugs... and i mean MANY... you won't be able to finish some missions due to mission breaking bugs... 2. your game will crash aloth... and i mean ALOTH...
@@APARAT79 I have yet to crash and I have about 150 hours in so far. The worst thing is 1.1.3 messing with shaders loading and all I do is delete them and have the game not load them until run time. 1.1.4 should fix that, but this is my workaround. Other than that, I've never had a crash since 1.0.1 when sometimes memory leaks would occur in Rostok and the game would eventually freeze up. No freezes since 1.1.2.

I’m already getting my suppressor installed in Rostok but I’m still gonna watch this cause I love watching stalker videos right now
Appreciate you taking the time to watch! (even though you're already at Rostok)
same thing, already in 30 hours into the game, but these are some good advice for newbies as me
I bet you've already seen a lot of cool stuff with 30 hours into it! I'll upload some more mid-game tips soon as well!
Thanks for the tips
Glad they were of use!

Good one! I died twice near the end with the jumps haha but this is one of the cooler armor sets imo.

I just got to the noontide settlement in the Wild Island in the story, is that still early or mid game?
I would consider that early game, heading to mid as far as the main missions go.

please just double click, or [X] on gamepad to transfer item instantly, no reason to drag them.
Haha yeah you're right I should use those shortcuts more often.
So im new to stalker, I keep seeing my guns have diffrent fire modes I just don't know to swap between them
Press "B" on keyboard to change fire modes!
@SirStefanGaming oh thank you :)
I don't think the emission is a radioactive storm. It's a psi-storm. Your detector doesn't go off during it.

@SirStefanGaming good point. I guess we will find out someday.

Yeah that really is annoying if and when it pops up. Seems to be random with every startup.

Some people say the jankiness is part of the charm.
I have 105 hours and am about 2/3 through my FIRST play through

@@APARAT79 Good feedback that I have marked down for a thorough review!
Console or pc? It’s been stable on pc compared to past games I’ve played- I’m looking at your starfield.
