- Join me for the third vlog from my Europe Road trip as I return to Parc Astérix in France for the first time since 2014. Along with sharing on ride POV's from all 7 of the different roller coasters at the park, I also check out the many changes since my last visit. I share my thoughts on Pégase Express, a Gerstlauer family coaster that opened in 2017 along with checking out the parks heavily themed Zamperla Disko.
This vlog is full of on ride POV's from all of the major rides including Tonnerre de Zeus, OzIris, Trace Du Hourra and many more fantastic rides that are on offer at the park.

You'd think someone going to Parc Astérix would know that, but nay, Shawn is here for the attractions, not the theming. Sigh. Still love him though :). But please, if you read this, go read some Astérix comic soon. You'll be glad you did. I recommend Astérix in Britain.

Disney has #1, #2. #3, #4 most visited theme parks on this planet. This channel has open my eyes to the Disney quality Parks in Europe. I'm making plans now to visit as many as in can. I'm going to Disney's Galaxies Edge, Tue. & Thur. this week. I I hope it is next level quality. "Til the Spire".

If Disney wasnt so famous for its movies iT would deffinently not be so popular their parks are deffinently not the best in the world. But the visitors come the Disney experience witch sucks in my opinion Disneyland paris is europes #1 park and walt Disney studio’s #2. They shouldnt even be in the top 5 tbh. Parks like this are way better

I don't know how to say it, but I love our vlogs so much! Love the way you talk about these parks, give us some inside information, tells us what you think of it. And the way you appreciate small things is amazing. Also great to get to know parks I've never heard of or been before. I think I should give Parc Asterix a go, I am a huge fan of Greek/Roman things.. So this looks great to me! Really looking forward to all of the coming vlogs from your USA roadtrip. Your vlogs are so genuine and fun. Thanks man.

Loving all these vlogs Shawn, your right, Osiris reminds me so much of Montu, at Busch Gardens, which is still my favourite invert coaster. What a great park Asterix is.

Iris was my first upside down rollacoaster I ever went on back in 2013. I was 13 and was on a trip with my school. Still one of the best that I’ve ever been on
You should come back in 2021 for the new Intamin Launched Coaster announced this year for the IAAPA ;)

I live 15 minutes away from this park and I have so many memories there, I love it so much!! It has some really good rides and great coasters. Unfortunately I haven't been able to go back there since 2016 I think because I moved around France a bit, but I really really can't wait to go back. I've never even ridden Pegase Express!! And it's my homepark!! I can't wait until they get their new Intamin coaster, and I'm hoping a RMC is next. Seeing your vlog made me very happy and eager to get back there, so thanks Shawn!

I've been going here since I was pretty small! Been 11 times (i'm from the UK). It's my favourite place in the world as I grew up loving Asterix and it has a true place in my heart! Plus, the park is just so well landscaped and the rides are great :D
oh my god you are so lucky you get to go to Aldi's theme parks in show us how it is with air and stuff like that I loved you and you do this type of videos because this just makes me really excited and makes me really want to go there so keep it on love your videos enjoy your day

Love the cue-line to the first coaster, nice and close to the track.
What an amazing woodie! Fast, LONG, lost of elements, not to smooth. The other coaster looks really good to though. I just love wooden coaster over steel. Probably because they where the first one i rode. (Liseberg (now gone), Tivoli København.)

Looks like a lovely park. Love the Greek themed area, Greece is my favourite holiday destination so would love to visit this park just to see the Greek themed area and try out all the different rides.
The dico rides with the hump in the middle look like they spin more than the ones that don't have the hump like the one at LegoLand Windsor.
Went with my school last year and it was so good :) hope you had a good time ! I would love to go back , i think its better than Disney land personally , hope you had a good time !

My first time on Tonnerre de Zeus was with the ECC on their Tour de force trip back in 1998. I was sooooo impressed. The train upon hitting the final brakes had so much energy still that the whole structure moved one way and then the other when it stopped.
A lot of UK parks should look to Europe for good examples of ride operations. Europe tends to be slick and efficient. Time and again on recent UK visits the parks are creating a large queue by either running only one train on multi train rides or just being so slow in station operations.
You're content is so much fun to watch while working on my video game project!!!

Transdemonium was built by Farmer studios who also built the old Terror Tomb at Chessington, don’t think they’re still in business so maybe the park are doing the re-work themselves (if that’s what they’re doing and not closing it for good)
Love it when a park uses the terrain to hide a monster like Zeus.
Le Transemonium has been removed from the park's website, all signs point to a removal...
Going to eurocamp in a few weeks, will definitely be checking this park out with the kids. Would u recommend buying the tickets online or at the gate on the day?
I hate the Goudurix. I remember riding it and it rattled me like a jackhammer. I had to sit on a bench because I had a huge headache. I’m glad you enjoyed it though!

Wait? What day did you go to Parc Astérix on becasue I went on the 15th of May so round about you. My favourite ride was Oziris and becasue we went on a Wednesday so there was hardly anyone there so we went on Oziris 5 times:) and I loved Pegase Express and we got front row which was amazing. Gouderix was okay but it is very shakey and I came off with sore ears but it is very old and you can’t expect a soft ride from an old ride. The water rides are amazing and Tonerre de Zous is very intense and is one of my favourite wooden coasters in the world but it is very very loud! I absolutely loved this park and can’t wait for 2021 when their Intamin launch coaster is ready:) Also every coaster has amazing theming apart from Gouderix. It’s an amazing park and one of my favourites in Europe!
Can you upload all your POVs onto youtube? Some of them at the moment on UA-cam are quite outdated

My all favorite type of roller coasters are woodies I’ve got two all time favorites so far and they are both here in my home park called Dollywood and the coasters are thunderhead and lightning rod

With all those different pre shows in the mad house i think the cue is quite fast as well cause you can get people in constantly? Last year in the Efteling i was in que for over an hour for the Bokkenrijders mad house in about 27 degree weather. Wasn't that nice

Ghost rider at knotts and Zeus was classic coasters international at there best 1997/1999
The mad house is based on an old fun fair ride. Universal studios had a version in the 80s in form of an ice tunnel. They all use the same principle.
Transdemonium: staff told me last month it only opens during Halloween. Such a shame. Love this ride.
I’m going to Paris next week and hope to go to This park. I’m gonna go to Euro Disneyland
