A great idea, wish I had known about these tracks before I traded in my Murray tractor for a AWD version. I love innovative ideas like that, well Done Hensutracks!!!
hey everybody....YES this is over kill for a cheap box store lawn mower but that's where the complaining has to stop. This is not new unproven technology. They are tracks. Of course they are going to give it much better traction. It puts more surface area of tread on the ground and if they are durable they would work VERY well compared to the turf tires that came off of the thing. I am from Southern Alabama but I've lived in Southeast Alaska and it rains so much there that you would always have to cut grass on soft ground. Matter of fact... it looks a lot like the area that this commercial was made in. Everyone doesn't need these but I'm sure this manufacturer understands that. It's called niche equipment. If it's affordable, there's a place for it so quit trashing this business because you're bored.
I agree. This product will help a lot of people with rough mowing conditions. Especially late spring when grass is still wet. I like the easy install and was glad to see the torque struts on the track frame. You know people will work the shit out of that mower now that it don't get stuck on flat ground.
I'd like a set for my lawntractor in the midwest, its not so much wet grass its the incline and im always loosing traction cutting ruts in the grass. Some of the yard is a boggy mess if you get to close you won't get out ive seen comercial mowers get stuck 2-3 times in that spot. Anything to add postive traction works for me. You also get the use of an all weather tractor thats good in snow, rain, damp or dry conditions, I'll even bet these work good on beaches and in the mud or loose dirt.
I am in the process of setting up my Lawn Tractor with a snowblower. This would be perfect for the traction during the winter for snow clearing duties.
Wow! What a bunch of know-it-all haters! Those are really cool and seem to work well. I wish I could buy those in the USA. Shipping alone would be to expensive from Europe.
At 1:48, you can see that the tracks didn't help much...the torn up grass and ruts made by the tracks are clearly visible in the background. And did you see that horrible excuse for a weld in a close-up early on?
fredy gump I was gonna say the same thing about the weld... I am a self taught welder and have passed many tests and even an x ray I was thinking it wouldn't be to hard to build these and then buy a replacement track for it
1- Lift the deck all the way when you are not cutting so it doesn't drag the ground 2- Get a set of chains 3- If you want to cut grass that high, use a powerful weed eater.
oh shut your pie hole. I can see applications for those on my acreage that your solutions would require 10x the time. Great idea. If I can't buy from them, I'm going to have to make a set
Yeah, I think the main improvement in traction is just the cleats on the tire. I seriously doubt those struts are providing enough pressure to make much use of the rest of the track that is not under the drive wheel...
Reading some of the comments made me laugh. Some people do nothing but complain or insult. I wonder if they have the same attitude while looking in a mirror.
Mowing in very damp or soft ground is really an issue with drainage on residential lots. But this idea really gets going on snow applications pushing a blower without chains or multiple weight packs. Let's see the numbers....
NOT a bad idea, BUT you don't tell or show folks that in MANY, MANY cases you CANNOT get the rear wheels off the unit to put the tracks on, allot of these tractor types have the wheels frozen onto the transmission shafts with rust etc. Matter of fact IF you buy a NEW tractor like this pull the wheels off at once, get plenty of ANTI SEIZE and coat the transmissions axles completely.
EXCELLENT suggestion, I tell folks IF you buy a NEW product with these type wheel mounts, pull them off AS SOON AS YOU GET HOME, and coat the complete O.D. of the surface with anti seize or heavy grease, will help prevent future issues if you need to pull them off.
I could see how it would be useful in some occasions but probably for their cost you could just use bar (agriculture) tires and dig ruts in your yard that way instead. Then you can afford sod and grass seed too.
Excellent Idea. We cut in all conditions and I can say these would be very applicable on hillsides and bottom lands. Do you have commercial mower designs? How Much?
Folks should have some understanding of the strength,or lack of it,in the machine's drive train/trans. With too much traction you could smoke belts or actually break something inside the transaxle. Generally, parts and such should be paired with both thought and understanding of the entire system. I think these tracks could be great for some uses and users but detrimental/costly to others. So are these tracks tough enough to put on a garden tractor to pull ground engaging accessories? If yes, which duty of garden tractors? Do the tracks have a built-in function to prevent undo stresses on machines? There are many variables and if you are a casual user like me the only sensible thing is to do research, and, ask questions under videos!
You know if you were to lift the blade up a little the regular factor tires would probably go right through it. When you show the tires spinning the mower deck is in the dirt.. green!!!!
It's a nice idea, but if your running it that much in that type of terrain you should probly just get a bigger better machine. Not some skimmpy Snapper Pro lawnmower.
If you guys are interested in selling these in the USA I would love to test out these tracks and feature them on my channel. I'm doing a nice Cub Cadet build right now. Stop on by!
Well, the ground is clearly soaking wet, everything stuck to the tires, even the rider is wearing a rain coat. If course crappy oem tires are gonna slip..lol Your driving in four wheeler country. But nice to know something exists to fix it if you choose to be out riding the lawn tractor in the rain, or the swamp.. 😂😂
But thats a lawn tractor your demonstrating it on......a garden tractor has a five bolt lug pattern and gear drive transmission not a splined axle hydrostatic transmission..
am ersten hang hält er kurz an und fährt dann weiter, deswegen drehen die Reifen durch, beim rückwärts fahren stören die langen Ketten, einfach as Reifen drauf und fertig!
You know in some of those situations wheel weights would have helped to. You should re-release this video with wheel weights on the tractor. To show that they have an advantage over standard wheels and tires and wheel weights.
A great idea, wish I had known about these tracks before I traded in my Murray tractor for a AWD version. I love innovative ideas like that, well Done Hensutracks!!!
Why so many haters! As a man . I want one just for the hell of it .
Richard I want one of those and one of these: ua-cam.com/video/-CTHoxmOeL4/v-deo.html
Brilliant. Gas struts for down pressure, nice. Putting these on an inexpensive tractor is also a great idea. Totally cool.
That's one spontaneous fella you got there.

Everything seems to work well in the ad

Pretty sure they for towing and rough Terrain use , i really couldn't see them being used for mowing a lawn
Why not?
I have to wonder if these tracks are doing anything at all. Considering the weight shift is being done by the tiny rods of those struts.
the music is great, uplifting, , I feel a sort of VICTORY song, , great work with the mower, , Boldly go where no mower has gone before.
But there is no sound
Great idea how much do they cost and where are they
This is great😀 took a mower that only cuts grass, and made it a workhorse👍🏻
Zero turns get stuck in just little wet ground.
Donna Guillory i would buy these quick. if would fit my zero turn ferris
Yes, zero turns get stuck with just dew on the ground.. especially with turf saver tires. They do a lot better with some atv tires put on The rims
Sweet tracks works great 👍
simply putting some old 18.5 inch atv tires on my crafts man mower , I can go anywhere I want to.
Yeah and it won't cost you a $1k like these tracks will...
1- Lift the deck all the way when you are not cutting so it doesn't drag the ground
2- Get a set of chains
3- If you want to cut grass that high, use a powerful weed eater.
oh shut your pie hole. I can see applications for those on my acreage that your solutions would require 10x the time. Great idea. If I can't buy from them, I'm going to have to make a set
That's some ingenious idea 💡. Iike it. The shocks to keep it on the ground. Good idea.
Do you do shipping to Australia?
I have steep hills and this would work great! Much better than tires.. spinning out in dew grass..
Where can a fellow buy one of theses half tracks ?
Most mowers don't have a live axle though so only one side is pulling.
I like to buy Hensutacks for my Husqvarna mower. Someone please explain how to buy things like this. Thank you!
Are these available in the US? If yes, how much? Just curious more than anything....
Is it better because of the tracks , or does the more aggressive grip make more difference
It’s actually how much of the track comes into contact with the ground. Tires contact to the ground is very minimal
Will these work on a real mower like a grasshopper 725d? or just home improvement store cheapies?
He did not just put the new tracks to the test, now he is warring his mower deck out by cutting the thickest grass it cant even handle.😱
Hi all waiting for my Husq Rider 214 tc is it working with riders too? How about gearbox and clutch? Will tracks not domage them?
Will they work on a zero turn?
Tyre chains = not just for winter... This seems a bit overkill
Gotrek12345 chains tear up grass and pavement
Good idea but i'd want to see a comparison to some more grippy tires than a run-of-the-mill turf tire
Where's the cannon?
Where do I buy and how much for the tracks
Where’you get it?
first of all why would you be using your mower in thevrain
in my case, there is like one week in the summer when it`s not raining
Some landscapers have to mow in the rain to meet a clients need.
my mowing business using MTD mowers and they sure mow far better than high dollar machines
Not even a chance are mtd products better than commercial
No they don't
Mowing in very damp or soft ground is really an issue with drainage on residential lots. But this idea really gets going on snow applications pushing a blower without chains or multiple weight packs. Let's see the numbers....
Has any lawn tractor rim ever come of that easy (if at all)...
Yes. All mine, which have always been bought used and abused, have come off with no more then a tap.
@@jackr7028 a tap after being heated to glowing
@@kurtknispel9170 clean the shaft and put some copper grease on. takes a minute. All my wheels just slide off without hesitation.
@@Boemel got to get it off 1st. Some of the mowers here are 30-40 years old and never had the rim pulled
Where can I order those wheels?
NOT a bad idea, BUT you don't tell or show folks that in MANY, MANY cases you CANNOT get the rear wheels off the unit to put the tracks on, allot of these tractor types have the wheels frozen onto the transmission shafts with rust etc. Matter of fact IF you buy a NEW tractor like this pull the wheels off at once, get plenty of ANTI SEIZE and coat the transmissions axles completely.
Numa Newbern yep, pulled the axle out of my husqvarna trying to get a wheel off! that was fun to fix!
I took the real wheels off my Craftsman Pro 54" riding mower for the first time after having it for over 7 years. They came right off.
Consider yourself lucky, I've had completely the opposite experience
I take them off every year and grease the axles, they always come right off.
Hensu site is also in English. Click in upper right hand corner for ENG.
Nice 👍
How can i buy it? Thank you
How can I get tracks
I could see how it would be useful in some occasions but probably for their cost you could just use bar (agriculture) tires and dig ruts in your yard that way instead. Then you can afford sod and grass seed too.
Different sizes? From 18" wheels to 23-24"...?
Yes, different sizes up to 23"
is it for 9 or up
No sound?
Chains with cleats are a simple answer been using them for several decades improves traction by 50%
I hope you make a billion dollars !!! Awesome !!! I want a set
Love the music 🎶
Excellent Idea. We cut in all conditions and I can say these would be very applicable on hillsides and bottom lands. Do you have commercial mower designs? How Much?
How to burn up your drive belt.

I would use them on a Lawn garden tractor but it would really be hard a rider with a transaxle.
I want a set
where can we get one in the US
hopefully in 2018
It's 2018. Can we get them yet?
@@beisel1111 It's 2022, nope.
What's the title of this song?
Best design ive seen
How much are dees????¿
I would like to know where and how to order in the United States ??? Any help???
Hi Bryan, we are working on it, but probably in 2018
2018?!
damn
I'll have to wait is there a mailing list?
You know if you were to lift the blade up a little the regular factor tires would probably go right through it. When you show the tires spinning the mower deck is in the dirt.. green!!!!

Stop on by!
Save your self some money go get some small chains put one around each tire hole in rim with bolt works just as well a lot cheaper 😊😊
This is awesome. your video is amazing. SUBBED👍. Keeping Going
I usually don't go off roading on my mower but if I was to, I wouldn't.
Put skis on the front

I have tractor tires on mine and it works fine.
One word...chains regardless still be useful
Would be cool if they didn't cost 10x more than regular bar tires
1k for those?!
But thats a lawn tractor your demonstrating it on......a garden tractor has a five bolt lug pattern and gear drive transmission not a splined axle hydrostatic transmission..
bela roba in vista complimenti !!!
Why is this guys cut so damn bad just curious i hope it has nothing to do with the product.

Where the heck is the sound?! Its like I'm watching some silent movie from the 1800's...
In Canada please!
That would tare the crap out of my 1/2 acre park like grass.
For the price of those tracks, could have gotten a larger tractor better suited for the purpose on the video.
Awesome!!
AG tires + Beat Juice= Problem solved and won't rip lawn up as much
Emailed them a month ago and no response yet!!!
Cool build idea but what's with this music.
fantastisch, sehr gut!
I need these on my shisqvatna with my snowblower on the front
Lift your mower deck and you wouldn't have a problem. LOL
Lock the differentials
Tears up the lawn!
Only available in Europe.
Bummer
Great idea, but price is absurd.
ATV tires will also solve the problem
Omg I need these so bas
I have a roper rt-16 and duals on it and wheel weights I bet if it dint have wheel weights it would still pull a lot
But not the stuff it can pull not
Very cool!
wish i could put these on my John Deere X354 tractor
put them on go kart
I think those might fly apart if they were on something fast like a go kart. But hell, I would try it anyway!
A set of light duty tracks that cost 10 times what that box store mower is worth. 🤣🤣
