It’s canon in Jason goes to hell. She had the necronomicon, and that’s why he’s a undead beast come part 4. Was just some dude in the woods up until his death in 3 and that’s when shit gets supernatural.
Jeeper Creepers 1 is the goat of horror icons. It was beautifully shot with perfect pacing, a fleshed out and well told story, and the best cast with chemistry. I still go to that movie more than any others. You mentioned a couple that my wife and I want to watch now, thanks for that man haha!
It’s art, based upon the fact you will not die in any respectful manner whatsoever. Goes on a spree simply for the love of the game. We have no idea as far his reach goes. Based on the films he just shows up where he wants does what he wants. Not limited to specific locations like Crowley or vorhees. We also get a clearer understanding of his abilities. He’s a normal dude with a high pain tolerance outside of being amped up by a demon.
Michael Myers is the scariest imo. The concept of unstoppable evil in human form, which can be everywhere, with which you cannot bargain or talk, which wants only one thing - kill, without any emotions or motives, is terrifying
Hmmm, the scariest slasher villain? I don't want go outside the human realm of slashers and start naming people like Candyman lol or mention again anywhere how much I love the Scream and Halloween movies, or try to figure out if Final Destination constitutes as a slasher. I'm just going to go with Angela from Sleepaway Camp 1-3, mostly 2 and 3, bc someone you know could really be like that without warning
Norman Bates is iconic. The shower scene from the original, the snow shovel from 2, the bathroom from 3 and the girl is in the icebox while the sheriff eats a piece of ice
If you pick the Gemini killer/Pazuzu as the scariest, then I think Azazel from fallen is scarier. He literally jumps from body to body with just a touch, kills many people no problem, and either intentionally gets killed (killing his host) or lets the host get caught. Even getting pure enjoyment having his host be prosecuted and sentenced to death. That’s some scary 💩 to me.

The wishmaster is not there ? He is funny and powerful, twisting peoples wishes. (if you dont know just watch the first movie, the rest are very so so). The someone wished for the wishmaster to die just for him to instantly return from death because he is just that good.

The scariest Slasher is probably one of the slashers from those "realistic" movies, where everyone seem normal with strange things here and there until the climax. Usually those type of movies dont even look like horror movies for most of it, and thats how they put your guard down and scare you, because any normal person could be a serial killer.
