Maybe, but I could also see from his experience, he knows that when he tried to quickly address his drama without taking time to clarify and get receipts, he got trashed so he probably wants her to learn from his mistake and not post until she's ready, but also wants to stand up for her in the meantime.
He probably talked to her about it and clarified things before posting or probably told her that he is tired of them trashing her and that he will say something
As someone who loves watching colleen 's vlogs, I think people have to realise that she has a FAMILY, a son who I'm pretty sure she would rather look after and take care of during times like these. She has probably seen things online but maybe she doesn't want to talk about it. You would think that people wouldn't be talking about things that could effect others especially during times when the world is a mess.
Yeah, I think he's handling this emotionally. I think that last year kind of made him averse to words like 'predator' and now he doesn't know what to do with that, so he's denying anyone he knows and loves the term because it hurts him to think about it.
But I mean, who knows, right? At the end of the day we can't tell what he's thinking.

The main issue is that the sound Charli was dancing to went like “can’t take big #### but I suck on it”. That was kinda weird. I don’t see the issue with the bikini tho. Regardless of her intent, people will still interpret things the way they interpret them, and it’s important to take that into consideration now that she’s a public figure.

I know he was a child and he may of idolised her but if he felt uncomfortable he could have told colleen how he was feeling or stopped talking to her, the fact that he continues conversations and asked to work for her after receiving the package and listening to what he said was weird conversations just proves that it wasn’t a big deal to him. Until he decided he could gain something from the story. I do not agree with Colleen actions as the adult in the situation but it was years ago she’s a better person now, so we should at least wait to fire hate until we hear her side of the story

Even if they’re uncomfortable at times, they don’t want to disappoint someone they look up to who is, in their eyes, giving them the time of day. There’s no excuse for her behavior and he did nothing wrong.

But you should look at both parts of the story before making an assumption

He's most likely only heard one side of the story from Colleen and is going to jump to her defense (very manipulative behavior) I could totally be wrong, but I've witnessed enough drama like this. In this situation, James is so quick to defend her, while at the same time, adding fuel to the fire. If he was being a good person, he wouldn't have included "more tea" in his response. If Colleen was actually clean in this situation, she would have addressed it by now. The whole thing is sketchy af. It sucks, I was a total Colleen stan before this
What James should’ve done is investigate this situation himself, talk to Colleen, and then help her speak out. He should’ve been like ‘hey, don’t jump to conclusions, wait for Colleens response, she’s busy trying to take care of her family, be patient please.’ Unproblematic, polite, and reassuring.
