The original tune of paluke bangaramayenaa is a helpless cry out to lord Ram when there is no other way forward. It defines the depth of bhakthi between devotee and divine. There is an indepth meaning in the song which needs to be consumed in an "as-is" manner and cannot be altered.
An example would be "Entha vedinakani "tired" suntainaa daya radu" or "entha vedinanunkani "helplessness and hopes thrashed" suntainaa dayarada - As per telugu dialect spoken in ancient days. There is a lot of pain and faith in the meaning of every line which makes the kirtan so great..

She normally does not kill a composition like she’s done here. I have heard Dr Balamurlikrishna Ji sing this and I felt it was a ‘PAINFUL PLEA’ to Kodanda Rama to come to the devotee’s rescue.
I’m a Kannadiga with a minimal understanding of Telugu but that was my understanding of what was sung.
