Hey man, just a question, sometimes it helps me to have a tiny amount of back spin when I trip the ball, but I notice that you dont have any spin, how come?
Good question! I think it comes down to personal preference there. This is the way I prefer to do it but I definitely understand the backspin. I would recommend trying both and seeing which one you’re more comfortable with! 💪👊
Goalkeeper here for U16 the only true advice for leg saves are that they are a last resort. Always try to use your hands. If you’re not comfortable with diving I suggest trying to learn proper technique on how to it because I have 3 colleges contacting me about going to them. Otherwise if you NEED to leg save the best way is one knee up at a 90 degree angle with hands in-front of your legs and making sure you don’t go down to early this is best because you can quickly reach both sides by switching your knees quickly.
Now goal kicks. The advice I’ve learned is make sure you aren’t swinging your leg around your body you almost want to come through with your leg going straight. For distance and height of course you will want to try to get under the ball this is where you will see keepers setting the ball on top of the grass almost. And it’s like shooting if you want it in the air more lean back if you can or lean over the ball if not.
@@breadlybeatslunchy got you man also don’t be afraid to just charge the ball in 1v1 if the kid hits you and falls it’s fair play but if he kicks you red card on him
Side volley is the most effective in launching a counterattack. If you want to kick the ball high for an air battle in the midfield, kick the ball more in front of you, NOT with a sidekick
Thanks a lot this is really helping me with my goalkeeper skills😊
High quality as always.
Will consider those tips🔥

Hi dutch Donnarumma
Hello! 😊
One question is power more important than technique?
No, once you have mastered or even practiced your technique, power will automatically come.
