Really cool cage the only thing I’d say is a little less food in the bowl I like to put a pintch or so in the bowl and scatter the rest all around as they like to “hunt” for their foods sometimes

Yes because hamsters are actually for ADULTS. And by that I mean that only an adult can properly care for it. Kids, as responsible as some of them might be, cannot properly handle small and nervous prey animals like hamsters.

I'm sorry (really not trying to be rude) and I know I'm three years late, but this enclosure is too small :( Also, the sand bath should be placed on a platform or stilts because if your hammy were to burrow underneath, it could get crushed due to the weight.
@@qtcngfwa yea my hammy lives in a big handmade cage! And she should def have her sand bath on stilts or a platform and she could use more of like a multi chamber for nests and more enrichment like sprays and stuff!

so good cage but the Chipsi bedding you used is not safe for hamsters cuz it has a flavour so the hamster cud have start to eat the bedding.

I recommend the IKEA DETOLF ;)
Some chew suggestions. I've used these on 22 hamsters. Whimsy dog chews,plain Milbones.,rice rolls. Safe.
My hamster loves his whimzeey 😂 he even drags it in his hideout. Watching him is funny.

Oh yes, she is definitely a spoiled hamster. I have actually made her an even bigger cage since then and she has gotten a neighbor called Abby🥰
