After seeing that scammer try to attack kitboga on twitch, it makes me 100% believe that all the dislikes on these videos are actually scammers hahaha
So that gives us a pretty good idea as to the number of scammers... probably 50 - 90% more than the actual # of dislikes. For sure, there are some HARD CORE computer criminals who are too busy working their tiresome scams to bother with hating on their arch-enemies.
That was actually hilarious watching him have a little keyboard warrior moment, then immediately giving up.

Scammer Payback is kinda eh... he copies Kitboga's format and he's been toxic in livestreams to viewers. I know personally, I was a member and donator, one night he had people calling in and I tried calling in, my number got blocked and I got a message from one of his team to say something like "what age are you, constantly trying to call? Grow up" and I then got banned from discord😂... I'm salty, yeah, but that's how I got treated as a member & donator! He tried talking hindi and those that corrected him and said the Hindi is wrong or just didn't like it he would say well leave the stream don't watch then etc. Guy is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He copies the voices and when Kitboga done different scenes with greenscreen, he copied that too, except he can't do it to kitbogas level, it's done poorly.
Js, making you aware of the person you're watching & supporting! Not saying don't watch him, just that he's a bit sus & I wouldn't like to endorse anyone who doesnt value a donator & member, or even just his viewers!
Ps- I appealed the ban and was just ignored, tbh makes me angry I was dismissed for something so trivial as trying to get through to his phone-in
@@gram. honestly, I'm not surprised. I've never heard those bad stories but he doesn't seem like a good guy to me. Just the way he acts on his stream and his channel. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because it was just a gut feeling, but seems I'm not the only one here so will be unsubbing as well.

These guys scammed my mother last year. I felt powerless after the fact. I am so happy that these scam baiters fight back for us who can't

is there actually a way to fry the motherboard with a virus? I'm curious if there's a way to destroy their computer completely rather than they just have to reset and reinstall Windows.
@@locabynature there is, but memz only messes with the boot files, and actually can be removed pretty easily. You can also use task kill to stop the initial funniness.
Basically it overwrites the MBR to boot the cat instead.
Its possible to reflash the motherboard bios with junk, and unless it has a backup bios, or they have a chip flasher its hard to recover, you can also use said bios to set the voltages way over spec to fry components and sometimes the VRMs will go.
This attack is harder to do though, as there are many more protections for the bios.
I like how he says “now its time to call and taunt them” like its standard protocol.
People trying to compare different scambaiters in the comments - they all work differently and have different methods, but ultimately the goals are exactly the same and the methods DO work across the board. Each minute wasted, each scam halted, each website/phone number/call centre taken down, each video shared - they all make a difference. Whether its live on Twitch or completely behind-the-scenes, this is a great little corner of the internet and it will keep growing so long as people support each other :)
I think it's deeveeaar, not sure, that offers tools for regular people to waste scammer's time, etc (make calls with a random phone number, so your number isn't compromised)

The thing is: these scam call centres/dens of thieves are only going to go away when they become unprofitable. So anything - ANYTHING that helps make their operations more unprofitable is a good thing!

I contacted my phone provider because my whole family are on the same contract and we were getting plagued by these calls everyday so I’ve been told “we can’t do anything because the calls are international” so I literally got to the point where i stopped answering my phone because its given me anxiety about it. They are relentless!! They bring shame on their country and their families and don’t care if they steal the last that people have worked hard for. So thank you 🙏🏻

This is a GREAT way to handle these scammers. Usually when they call me I just say over the phone that I’ve taken their entire family hostage

To see what their (scambaiters) tactics are, how to identify if they are being scambated, basically anything that helps them reduce the chances of being caught whilst increasing the chances of their operations continuing uninterrupted.
But of course, they don't really learn from it. Like you said, dumb as a bag of rocks, there are countless videos where the scambaiter is clearly the one who wiped their pc and they sometimes take as long as 10 minutes trying to figure out if it was really them that did it.
