fun fact: originally, the rb8 was going to be driven by sebastian vettel .But however, because he was on holiday, so chrstian horner decided to help stand in for sebastian and drive the rb8 it was a shame that seb wasn't able to be at goodwood it would have been amazing to see 2 redbull champion at goodwood celebrating the team history
Aside for the "slow" parts, its a showcase, similar to some countries's air forces showing their aircrafts without taking actual action. Also wasn't a time event. And aside for that, the petrolhead comments about the V8-V12 F1 ones I'll surely bet that before the Hybrid V6, their engines are wasted and consumed part of the fuel tank, while since RB18 to RB20 (curiously Checo's one, the 11 number) only few and engine still ready for the next GP. And FiA are researching to minimize the current F1 sizes, they're so big that barely fits two of them side by side, and not only that, without reducing any safety measures as Halo
Went to the British F1 in 2017 & 2022. The current hybrid cars sound absolutely w*nk. The Porsche 911 Cup cars were the best sounding cars there in 2022, except for the historic F1 cars which were all running Cosworth DFV V8s.
One man once said "We have to remember these days. There's no guarantee that they will last forever. Enjoy them as long as they last." which is now even more true for RedBullRacing company than ever. 2024 FOS was the last chance to do it big (at Goodwood) with many cars and many people, with Newey and Horner, when they are still relevant, who knows what will be in the future.
upload a version where it isn't a powerpoint presentation please
what?
@@ioni6x @RickHessing means they're not pushing the pace, not much excitement. I agree.

The person that gave this the final go ahead needs a written warning about the terrible quality.
Watching F1 cars go slow is boring.
You miss yuki with checo car
British media delayed 2 days to release this video.
Always fun hearing those amazing Sounds!!!!
Congrats to Newey, no crash today!
Cool to see these cars, BUT it really would have been a 10 out of 10 if they had let a couple of those V10 versions run a few laps at race pace.
Thank you for this video goodwood

Nice
Not only does Lord March host the event, he's apparently also rendering the videos for the UA-cam channel on his laptop too
