I am hoping this game gets a remaster at the very least. With rollback/crossplay for all versions, all dlc, returning game modes like unlimited and Highlander with online mode to play co op. And fixing issues with lobbies and matchmaking
One thing I loved about Blazblue was the way they handled throws. You could break them on reaction and they were all broken by the same input. Maybe I'm somewhat biased because Blazblue was the first fighting game I actually started to learn properly and so that's the throw system I first became accustomed to.. but these other games and their throw systems.. fml. Tekken is my most played fighting game. Recently hit Tekken King and I still fucking hate dealing with throw breaks. (for those that don't know, Tekken throws can be broken on reaction but they have 3 different ways to break throws based on which throw your opponent used.) Call me a scrub but it is what it is. Street Fighter we got throw loops where it's literally just, "take the throw or risk half your health bar". You can't break them on reaction. To me, Blazblue had that perfect mix. You could break throws on reaction and you didn't have to look for some visual queue to see which button to press to break the throw, it was all one button. And they weren't unreactable like in SF. And since they were reactable and only required the one input to break.. Any successful throw attempt was rewarded with a full combo.
I believe, if 1 big UA-camr of FG figure actually just said how good and alive this game can be, It'd revitalize the game so much. I love this game, but the low playercount turns me away a bit (still love fighting my friends though)
