    Wonderful clip about handling the negative thoughts. I love the analogy with ignoring the bully. It makes it so clear and the best thing it works😃

    I have a question. How can you handle a stressful situation when your nervous system is hypersensitive?

    • @cfsrecovery
      @cfsrecovery  2 роки тому +5

      To be honest you just do the best you can and it’s not even the stressful situation that you need to handle, it’s your reaction to the stressful situation. You need to really be aware of your immediate response to symptoms and make sure you’re not freaking out and panicking when they come because that is what will make you worse. Yes you will feel the symptoms and maybe even some anxiety but limited to the best of your ability

    Does the exercise in the blueprint document work on fatigue as well? I have fatigue and flue-like symptoms but not so much of chronic pain...

    • @cfsrecovery

      Hi Jonathan, great question!
      If you don't have chronic pain then I wouldn't do that specific exercise, that is specifically for pain. If you did have pain, then that exercise would work for other issues as well as chronic pain as so much energy is consumed in coping with pain that it doesn’t leave anything leftover, therefore we feel fatigued or have foggy brains. The more we can incorporate relaxation and mindfulness into our routines, the better our sleep will be, the calmer our autonomic system will be and the faster we will heal.
      This will indirectly help other symptoms + fatigue. Reducing pain takes off stress on the nervous system, mainly from the emotional and mental aspect

      @@cfsrecovery Thank you for your reply! Apart from mindfulness and relaxation, is there any exercise that you recommend or have a video about that is brain retraining for fatigue specifically? :)

    Ohh Lord, I had been asking doctors why my Shoulders and neck hurt so bad when I am in stress they never could answer it, as all my reports always came clean.. All this pain started when I couldn't deal with my mom's cancer and her death.. But it's been many years since she is gone but the constant muscle pain in neck and upper back hasn't left me..My upper back burns life some one has poured burning hot oil on it.. There is one common pattern to my pain...When I worry too much or am in anxiety mode, the pain also magnifies multiple fold....Will the brain rewiring help in reducing pain the next time when I am in stressful situation as I feel the pain is a direct response to stress and inability to handle it.?? Love and gratitude

      I'm so sorry to hear of your situation Vinay.
      You are about your symptoms being triggered by anxiety and worry - different people have different triggers!
      Brain rewiring and retaining may not necessarily help to reduce pain directly - but it will help you be able to respond better and handle the pain much better the next time it comes - how you react makes a big difference to the next flare up and symptom.
