I love the idea of you food blogging because you are one of my favorite yogis out there, and should be more confident in doing so because you have such a good kind nature towards everything, it's inspiring. Brittany Lee oh thats a really interesting way to see it!! I used to be hesitant about sharing because the messages were often "what do you eat to stay skinny?" and I really try to stay away from weight loss content on my channel as it doesn't jive with who I am and my message. Maybe I'll make more now 😊
Oh yay! I'm so glad I spoke up!! It's been extremely hard for me to find people who are promoting healthy weight gain for chronically ill people. People with Lyme disease, Fibro, etc.... It's all fast and Vinyasa out there, and that's what actually attracted me to your channel was your more yin-lifestyle! I can only vinyasa a few times a year, so your channel has helped so much with taking it slow and now including food, people who've been struggling with their diet are seriously going to appreciate this. I know I am!
I feel like it’s getting rarer for people on social media to admit that they’re vegetarian or pescatarian, not vegan. Thanks for being honest :D I’m lacto-vegetarian so it’s hard to find YT content about diets containing milk!
YES! If you're not 100% perfect on UA-cam prepare to be scorned! It's annoying but I know they mean well, the delivery is just extremely condescending. It's definitely one of the reasons why I've avoided talking about food on my channel.
Lovely! Its definitely more healthy to be vegetarian so a big thumbs up for that ! I have been a vegetarian all my life (its very normal in India) and think its also works well in yoga and spirituality. Good to see your routine and your cute pets.
My husband was listening as I played this. He said OMG, it sounds exactly like how you eat LOL! Which is true, lemon water and coffee after I feed my dogs. I have a smoothie about 2 hours later, a lunch very much like yours and then a healthy dinner. I also stay away fro meat. Thank you for sharing your day with us. Many blessings ❤️🙏

Hey Kassandra, I thought it was super fun. I’m sitting in my balcony (MI) enjoying a fantastic breeze, eating a bowl of organic fruit and drinking organic black coffee 🙌🏻🙌🏻. I am 95% vegan, occasionally eat eggs- tryingvto be 💯 %. It’s just great to get to know you a little better; I really enjoy your flows. So many people need help making better food choices, hence the curiosity. I get asked all the time as well. When I post pictures, they want to know what’s in it.
Just found this video & WOW. We have very similar eating styles/habits. I use to eat this way (liquids/smoothies in the morning, eating later in the day), but I stopped because I felt the need of the “regular eating habit structure” (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks in between). Seeing this really opened my eyes that I’ve been in such a funk lately with food DUE TO THE FACT of that new eating schedule. Definitely returning to this/my old eating style/habit because it’s what my body wants/is calling for. We really do need to listen to our bodies more & stay away from the stigmas around literally everything. Thank you for sharing this even though I’m 2 years late. So happy I discovered your page through a really good, humble friend of mine. Much love 💛
Also wanted to add (my be TMI but IDC); I’m fresh out of a psychiatric ward & have been looking for a better routine, really listening to my body & since I’m not working I’m able to work on it & get into a better habit. Again, thank you for sharing 💛💛
I get up at 6:30 but don't eat until 9:30. :) Awww your pets are such cuties. Love seeing you say good morning to them! I enjoyed seeing you're not obsessive and rigid about your diet, which unfortunately seems common in this community, where some view coffee as a sort of poison and so on. I like your relaxed approach, seems like you're connected to what your body wants and needs. :) Much love!
I don’t eat meat or fish. I am vegetarian also. I sometimes eat eggs, and I love cheese. I hardly ever eat breakfast. I do drink almond milk, but I drink my coffee black. I love McDonald’s coffee. I love smoothies, I agree about the Vitamix. I use mine for making smoothies also. So I enjoyed the video, snd loved seeing Luna, Kit-kat, and Cleo. Namaste’! 🤗🙏🏽
Nice video! I am like you on weekends - no eating till like 3pm but weekdays with a full time job- It's a different story:-) I have to tell you that my morning coffee is something would recommend everyone try: a cup of organic espresso coffee with organic Matcha tea, pour some cashew unsweetened milk and voila! Energy for the day!!!
Yum, I like the idea of black bean paste with tofu! It's always interesting to see what people eat in a day, especially being a veggie myself I find it easy to get into a rut foodwise.
I eat very simple food like you most days, especially my lunch is also usually quite small as I don't seem to digest bigger meals well for lunch :) and I find it super interesting to see what other people eat ;)

Yes same! Many times in my life I've tried to get myself on a "normal" eating schedule and forced myself to have breakfast but I just hated it! It doesn't work for me. I've stopped trying to force myself to eat according to what other people think is "right" and now I just listen to my body :) Feels much better!
Thanks for sharing what you eat, Kassandra! It was fun, I like to see how and what other people eat. Probably people would think I am a boring eater, because I only really like to eat real, whole foods. But it's what I love, and it makes me feel awesome! I also tend to eat at unconventional times, like you. I eat according to my schedule, and when I am hungry. I always start my day with fresh fruit, then I do either my workout or my yoga practice. Then after that I will have a more filling breakfast. Then lunch is usually around 2 or 3, and dinner can be anywhere from 7 to 9 at night. Thanks for sharing, I love seeing this side of you off the yoga mat :)

I love what i eat videos from people with a similar lifestyle to mine. This was fun and your pets are precious. I got to see another aspect of you than just your yoga self. I like you! Do make more! Oh, also it was good for me to hear that you don't like to eat in the morning. My younger daughter doesn't like to eat either and this helped me to understand that she can be okay that way :-)
I know my parents were initially concerned with my refusal to eat in the morning but it really was/is the right thing for me. Everyone is different! We are so often told that "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" so it's hard to shake that mentality. I technically have breakfast, just much later than others :)
Oh I just got that protein powder at Safeway! It works so well! I give it to my kids as well, just less than what I use, since they don’t get protein from anything else.
Very healthy and delicious diet (i take your word for it, i'm used to cooking the same kind of things !). But I always have mixed feelings about food supplements and all that plastic. I know it's hard to avoid it in some countries, but the holistic approach of doing yoga, being vegetarian etc should also consider our impact on nature, shouldn't it ? And also, you're one of my favourite YT yoga teacher, thanks a lot for all your videos

Yeah ... thought it was kind of neat to see what you eat in a typical day. Was interesting ... can't say why exactly? Maybe it was the cats? :-). Maybe it's just the way you think? Very ?? insightful/peaceful ?? . I wonder too about the trust you've given to the products you eat (I'll have to check them out). Wonder if maybe you could visit the manufacturer sometime and poke them on how exactly they process the stuff. Thanks for sharing and have a super great week.
I find it amazing how different we all are in terms of having breakfast. Like, if I'd waited for as long as you do I would probably get weak and ultra cranky, whilst if you'd tried to have what I have at 6 am (mostly meats and eggs, sometimes even beef dinner leftovers) you'd probably end up with your head in the loo lol.

You eat very similar stuff to me but I always have to have a little breakfast early on and then my smoothie after my workout! Luna is so cute. My dog will lick me like that if I have moisturised with coconut oil 😂 he loves that stuff!
I wanna start eating better I quit smoking cigarettes and got off Suboxone.. now I wanna really feel been.. I have kids am a single mother.. we struggle with eating healthy.

Relaxed is a good way to put it! Too much structure around food is a big no-no for me..

It's definitely not always healthy! We usually order pizza on Fridays and my go-to unhealthy snack is popcorn. I'm obsessed!

You eat very similar stuff to me but I always have to have a little breakfast early on and then my smoothie after my workout! Luna is so cute. My dog will lick me like that if I have moisturised with coconut oil 😂 he loves that stuff!
If I didn't stop her she could spend an hour or more licking 😂

I wanna start eating better I quit smoking cigarettes and got off Suboxone.. now I wanna really feel been.. I have kids am a single mother.. we struggle with eating healthy.
Now i know why your thin and im fat. I eat way more calories than you. I'm always hungry.
