I love the way you capture the whole workspace and tools. As a beginner model maker I don't want to start a kit until I have everything I need. Great build and wonderful display care - Museum Quality !
Very good video. Illustrated a lot of considerations and solutions when building a case. I'm preparing to build a larger case for my ship, and it provided good food for thought. Not an easy task!
I appreciate the time and attention to detail you invested in your craft. It came out beautifully despite some of the negative comments I’ve seen. Can you tell me what it would cost to have a case like this built? The dimensions are L-6’xH-3’xW-2’ it’s for a large sailboat. If you can give me a ballpark estimate that would be awesome. Again, amazing work! 💯💪🏾🔥🔥
Turned out pretty nice. Do you still have all you fingers since doing this display ase? After seeing the risks you take with them on this one, I'm hoping for the best for you.
I’m an artist who recently created a sailboat. I need a display case but it’s VERY large. 6’x3’x2’ I haven’t checked the prices for a display case that size. But judging by the amount of labor he invested in this small ship, I’m pretty sure I will spend WAY more on the case than I did to actually build the boat. In my case I would be better off building one myself.
This is amazing mate!! So simple and elegant, awesome! May I ask why you didn't stain the wood before it was joined on there? :) Amateur woodworker here :)
i am a professional cabinet maker with 55 years experience in wood machining and i am a bit concerned about you using that table saw with no safety guards fitted, not to mention having a router clamped upside down in a vice with the cutter exposed to your fingers... very bad practice
You sneaky brilliant bastard. I've been wanting to do this...and now, after watching you...I'm going to give it a try, Thanks
Just what I need right now, I just recently finished my first sailboat.

Super! Your display case is beautiful, but your ship is too! Thx for sharing.
Very good craftsmanship.
One word comes to mind " You are so F$#@en AWESOME" . Thank you for making videos.
Labor of love on that one. Well Done.
Nice but the frame not so good. .like fish aquarium.

Good modelling
wonderful display case and ship.
Beautifully done. Congrats
Its easy when you have all the right tools to make it!!!!
You also need to know how to use the tools. Or are you saying if you have a calculator you can do any equation?
As an artist I can guarantee you this wasn’t easy. The very small details require patience, skill, and more patience.

Hello from Portugal! 🇵🇹fantastic Work! Can you have a toturial to Make the name plate of the ship?
A lot of hard work but so beautiful! I trying to make a display case for my fathers 6 foot scale model of a shrimp boat he made in 1960
Super inspiring!
Fantastic build!! I have built quite a few displays, but love seeing your great design, (way better than a couple of my attempts...)
Nice case, much better than the one I built last year.
Great job!
Lovely job, with hindsight I should have created or bought similar for my Clara May Wooden Ship by Artesania Latina
Good job
Nice case, but it’s definitely over shadowed by the ship build. That must have taken lot hours to complete, amazing stuff
well done, a great work
I love this Pirate Ship! ☠
That is fucken cool dude 😎
Now I know why these display cases cost so much. My ship is twice as big, and they want $1K just for the display case!
Guys does anyone know a movie that has a boat in a glass case its a cartoon movie i forgot the title
Hello, great work 👍 Is this glass that you use?
Nice work! Tell me, please, what are those two metal parts you put under the ship to secure it to the stand at 26:42 ?
Turned out pretty nice.

What is the silicon used?
Very god
There was a lot of skull in that.....i mean skill. :)
Unless you already have an invested workshop with all those $$ in machine tools... it would be cheaper to just buy a ready made case....

I wouldn't pass my hand over table saw blade the way you do.
That toy flag did destroyed everything
O. M. G. - where do you live....... lol, I need a case made for my U Class MK VII 1:72scale
What was that yellow glue used?
wood glue
Which one exactly, as this can be crucial
I'm sorry, don't know the brand.
If you don’t know what wood glue looks like, you’re definitely in the wrong hobby. 😅

Cutting glass like cardboard
А я ещё год спуска на воду к названию добавляю....
very sloppy work, sorry but its true.... You can watch the channel Olha Batchvarov and see the difference.
And here I am thinking it was pretty freaking nice
бездоганна робота !!!
Очень топорно
Согласен ,хотя задумка хорошая .
