I appreciated that they tried to subvert the cliches of many musical biopics, but it just felt muddled, and you couldn't keep track of the two timelines. The acting was superb, though.
It knocked my socks off buddy 🤣🤣 The movie was just what it was supposed to be A Movie. It opens up the door for people to do their own research if you want in depth detail of his real life.
I really enjoyed it. I didn’t expect it to be about anything more than the buildup to his One Love Peace Concert due to the title of the film, and the acting was fabulous, so I had a great time watching it
I suspected this would be a bit meh. As soon as I heard the lead doing his best Bob Marley impression in the trailer I thought this will be a by the numbers, uncontroversial take on the man.
Biopics tend to be hit or miss, especially those involving music legends. So far, only the late, great Ken Russell's music composer biopics I find the most appealing.
What was that about Gary Crosby? And DAMN that's a lot of sleeping around from Bob and Rita! But honestly, I can't take musical biopics seriously after WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story took the piss out of all of them.

Bob Marley, poet and a prophet
Bob Marley, taught me how to off it
Bob Marley, walkin' like he talk it
Goodness me can't you see I'm gonna cough it?
I would type the rest of the lyrics, but I wanna keep everyone guessing the song.
I don't wanna give it away, yano?
@@MadQuickScotsman this comment is red hot
Bob Marley is more profitable than Madame Web

Love his music. Don’t need to see a movie about him. There are so many good books out already.
At least it was better than the one from the 90's (I think there was one that was from the 90's)
EDIT: Grammar 😂
The actor who portrayed Pete Tosh admitted in interviews the majority of his scenes were cut. Damn.
Fresh off the bakery! Lucky me!
Because every little thing is gonna be, well ya know...

Hell yeah!! New vlog!!😍🥰
I bet if Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story were more successful, we wouldn't be having so many of these formulaic biopics.
Great review
Great video.

BUY-oh-pick, sir.
I thought it was pretty good. Was it great? Of course not. But it was pretty good. Better than that god-awful Elvis movie.
Verily, "Elvis" was both a critical and commercial success, and yes, I did see both "Bob Marley: One Love" and that film in theaters.
Yeah, that many kids, and half of them is only biological to one parent or the other, sounds like a lot of NTR from both sides. 😉
