If he went overseas at the age of 1- 10 and he went to school there, yes but past the age of 20 ur accent stays with with unless you are around foreigners everyday. I find Jamaican accent is one of the hardest to get ride of. Even educated jamaicans with an accent sound like they are speaking another language other than English.
