    I agree with your comment about haters who try to bring us down in this world that we live in, but I do put all these negative thoughts behind me and keep positive feelings in front of me. That's how I make it in life.😊

    Hi Jason, the first line from bottom is: BUTTON_TO_AP_VOL_UP_L(volume up) ,2nd line: WLAN_PCIE_PERST_L(wifi greyed),3rd line: BUTTON_TO_AP_VOL_DOWN_L(Volume down)
    i spent 4 nights chasing all 3rd layer lines:)

I had such a guy pupping up reacently on my fb, havent heard from him for years, had some blessings from him BUT BANG, one day I were his target of attempt to bringing me down. I just got dissapointed, but NOW, YES, he were just twlling me how well Im doing and how he envy that. Poor guy. May his and all other haters souls be blessed.
    Thanks for your great videos, I watch them as a soothing therapy type of cozy entertainment to be honest 😄

    The prayer to The Algorithm when you said flux had me crackin' up. I watch airplane combat sim videos where they say Fox-2 or Fox-3 a lot when firing missiles. They also have the [___] in the subtitles sometimes, and get flagged as "not appropriate..." for excessive swearing.

    Fascinating to watch such a complex piece of repair work. Brilliant. I have to laugh at some of the comments you get, like "I've got this customer phone to repair, how do I do it" (or words to that effect). Do they really expect you to take time out to analyse their problems .Do they not realise you have a business to run? Jeez :-)

    Hi Jason, I've been doing repairs for a while now and just bought a few cameras and snowball mic... I am having problems trying to figure out how everyone is making these screen in screen pictures...saving audio, etc... to create some repair videos. Do you have any advice? Recommended tutorials or software to accomplish this? Maybe you could make a video on how to make a video?? :) Thanks for any help... Keep up the great work!

    • @ststele
      @ststele  6 років тому

      Thank u! When I want to keep it simple, I just use Open Broadcaster to record everything. www.obsproject.com
      I wind up using different audio and video files sometimes tho that have to be edited together. For that, I use Adobe Premier :)

    • @themicrosolderingshop
      @themicrosolderingshop 6 років тому

      Thank you very much for suggestions! Now all I have to do is try to get the microscope and the camera to focus together... I get one in focus and the other is not in same range to get it focused so I can see through the Am-scope 1 eyepiece and the camera (Using the Trinocular Camera Port) displaying a focused image on the computer or monitor. I don't see a setting for digital focus or manual on this camera you had in your suggested Microscope Camera.

    Would you please include the final step in your long screw damage repairs.....i.e. the technique by which the jumper soldered traces are epoxy covered, and the shield hold-down nut is reaffixed to the logic board. I watched multiple video’s of long screw damage repairs, and the last step before final reassembly is NEVER shown. You alluded to using silicone glue, locktite and UV tape but never did say which of these you routinely use....or show any video’s of your final steps. Other video’s have suggested the use if GREEN GOO epoxy, but not a single one shows how it is done. Thanks, and brilliant work on your part.

    • @ststele
      @ststele  6 років тому

      That's a good point really. I usually put kapton tape over the screw hole on the metal plate but didn't on this one. The stuff I put on this dries hard as a rock tho so it's pretty rugged. In the future, I'm probably just gonna start using the same green mask most everyone uses though. It seems easier.

    What adapter are you using to mount your camera to your microscope? Thank you.

    • @ststele
      @ststele  6 років тому

      Hmmm... I can't find a model number or anything on this. I ordered it a couple of years ago tho. Sorry, I can't be more helpful. When I ordered it, I had measured the hole on the camera & on the microscope to come up with the right size. Pretty sure I got lucky and it fit on the first try.

      This is a General Electric mic that I bought at the local office supply store. They are around $10. I think I seen some on Amazon that were the same. This video was recorded with that mic and a Zoom H1 Handy recorder.

    You quite simply blow me away with your knowledge of electronics. You are of the select Louis Rossmann or Alex from Northridge Fix standard to me, they also have people willing to give them advice. However, where you stand out is as a human being. I do like Alex and Louis as people and I think Alex's dry sense of humour is extremely funny and his family values, like yours, are unbeatable. They are also both phenomenal electronics technicians. So I’m not defaming them as men in any way.
    One area I know fairly well though, through both my own journey through PTSD and alcoholism and professional life, is mental health issues. I know LR does discuss his own issues but not in the same way you discuss yours. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying what Louis discusses isn’t right or appreciated, anyone who helps make discussions on mental health as normal as physical health is appreciated. However, I find the way you discuss your anxieties etc is, for me, extremely easy to identify with. I know this is an old video and you might well not see this comment but thank you for helping me.
    You carry on doing you, helping other real human beings and let the haters carry on massaging their own sad egos, helping no one, not even themselves at the end of the day. I know who the better person is.
