Wow, so cool!! Envy you. How great was that day back in 1985?

I remember watching this amazing band live on TV on the day back in 85 was totally blown away should have headlined live aid, I was 20 years old back then and queen was the one band who i remember stood out more than any on the day😊
There will only be one Freddie Mercury in our lifetime. And, I'm Grateful to have seen him with my own two eyes & listened to his gifted voice with my own two ears...
I feel blessed.
0:33 the wave effect of the crowd’s response is an incredible sight.
Nobody can touch the power of Mercury on stage.
In my opinion this song's performance at Live Aid is Queen's highest live moment in their vast career. You can feel Freddie owning each and every soul at Wembley.

That image at 0:32 with Freddie in front of that massive crowd is just insane; the way he commands them and just looks so at ease on stage. Nobody has ever come close to having that level of effortless stage presence and charisma.
Well said wow
It doesn’t get any better than this. Legends in every sense of the word. Can’t imagine the adrenaline having 80-100k people sing your lyrics back to you. Also, Brian May, wow.

A true showman. I don't know of anyone else, past or present, who can get 72,000 people singing in unison like that. My God, they must have been having the time of their lives. I was 20 years old when this concert happened. I couldn't get the money together in time fly to London. I was so disappointed. But I did watch it on TV. The line up was legendary. Sort of a Woodstock for the 1980's.

Freddie Mercury was a one of a kind. He is an icon. There will never be another person like him. ⭐️
To those of you who didn't get to live this LIVE back in the day, you have no idea how stunning it all was and still is in taking us right back to that magic by watching the videos now. I remember having the TV on, ready to stop whatever else was going on to come watch, then getting caught up in it so long nothing got done. Missing you today Freddy, a little bit more than any other day. Thanks for the memories Queen.
I'm a rapper (NOT ONE OF THE MUMBLE RAPPERS)I come from a family of musicians and entertainers. I used to get laughed at for being from "THE HOOD" and loving Rock,Alternative, SOUL, and RnB music which never bothered me at all. This song has influenced my sound beyond belief. #SALUTE
0:19 I love this bit so much. The way Freddie is just looking down at the floor behind him, then Brian May slides the note down his guitar and Freddie stomps with his foot straight into the song. I can’t get over how good he is and how good he looks doing it!!!
Playing that solo to a crowd like this would be the greatest thing ever ♥️ Brian May! Brian May!
Best frontman of past, present and future!
And the truth is Freddy didn't even have to try to be ALL THAT and more! People who didn't get to live this experience LIVE back in the say don't know what they missed and they don't realize how it's never going to be this good again. EVER.

The greatest 20 minutes of rock at a concert
This is exactly what Sir Brian dreamed of when he wrote this simple yet immortal composition. He never expected the scope of his song’s impact to soar this high.
Guinness world records should award Queen for largest number of audience participation, the 1 Billion plus people in their homes clapping along in sync
There is a definition for everything and this is the definition of owning the stage
What a friken concert. If this doesn’t send chills down your spine when the crowd starts singing I’m certain that nothing will. Freddie was a GOD.

Freddie Mercury is the best male vocalist in Rock and Roll history. Only Elvis was on his level.
You really can't say this is the greatest Queen song of all time tbh
Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, I want to break free, and We Are The Champions are
all just as god tier as this masterpiece
Queen is completely out of this universe RIP Freddie
Queen didn't steal the show at live aid , they owned it. ❤️🌟👑
only 8 million views yet this is the pinnacle of performance that no artist has able to top
Im 16 now(2024). I only got into queen like last year, have only heard a couple of their songs. But man, I can feel the goosebumps. God imagine how it mustve been being at that concert, and how perfectly and in sync the audience sang this legendary song
The energy they created is unreal.
That solo is so simple yet unique sounding. Only Brian May could come up with something like that. It's so memorable
00:12, Freddie was in the zone and was truly enjoying the audience.
A melhor banda do mundo 😍
Super morceau avec lequel j'ai découvert Freddie Mercury et les Queen
Merci pour ce partage
I remember when my dad showed me their live aid performance when I was like 5 or 6 and I remember being like "WoW this energy" and I'm still a fan! Love them so much

Over 100,000 people are literally pulsating with every beat and every vocal... 0:31 There should have been a scientist there for this historic event. In this moment they were ONE.
why this live concert in 85 sounds so much better and higher quality than live videos from nowadays? and yeah, queen is crazy, they are amazing live.
“Imagine thousands of people doing this”
Freddie on July 13 1985: billions
Freddie is one of the only people in history to make people sing the lyrics to an entire song by saying one word other bands had to keep motivating the crowd to sing the lyrics
Possibly the greatest ever live performance to human date. Freddie you was a god on stage, RIP brother 💙💫🤘🏽
72,000 people were in Wembley that day. With 1.5 Billion watching from around 50 countries in the world. This will be very hard to repeat. Imagine that energy on the day.

I just watched a master at work with millions of othere & yes he owned the crowd that day/What an absolute legend you were Freddie Mercury. 👏
Freddie control the world with his song❤️
The depth and quality and history behind them performing LiveAid is amazing. This truly in my opinion is the greatest performance of ANY genre, ANY band or artist bar none. The only other performance that I even consider is Chester getting off stage and getting down to someone in a wheelchair and he is just beautifully screaming and singing in the end. No music.
It's amazing how you can actually see the wave on the crowd caused by the traveling sound waves
The day Freddie Mercury, throat infection and all, defined music brilliance. What an artist. Legend. FOREVER.

LEGEND!!!!! I haven’t heard this song longer but I use to hear it when I was a child and IT WAS A LEGEND AND MASTERPIECE
I’d say this is definitely Queen’s best performance, if only Freddie Mercury’s best performance in the Wembley Stadium.
To the next generation, don't let this masterpiece die! :)
Absolute masterclass in how to be a frontman....confidence, charisma, coolness and control. All the previous acts had been performing to THEIR fans, Queen performed to the ENTIRE stadium. I defy anyone to watch it and not feel in awe. Feel very sorry for the next act....must've been like " FFS, let's just get our coats and go home".
He was such a big inspiration to me growing up .
Freddie and Queen stole the entire Live Aid show in 1985! This performance is magic!
Queen would still blow every band away Today if freddie was about ...they were so powerful for a 4 piece ..amazing talent...every thing about queen was spot on
They knew the whole world was watching them and gave their best performance.Yet they doubted themselves thinking 'It was kind of ok'.If freddie was still alive and could knew the whole world is listening to their songs he would've been proud of himself.
What a fucking amazing performance. He nailed the A4 With perfection .
im not a emotional person if someone dies i wont cry, but seeing queens live aid performance is very very very close to bring me to tears. especially 'we will rock you' the song already sends shivers down my spide let alone with 72,000 people doing the stamp stamp clap. its omg amazinggggggg
Now this is what I subbed for
Not a single cell phone. What a time that would have been.
This has got to be the only song that rivals Bohemian Rhapsody as Queen’s most Iconic song
Maybe even We are the Champions
Look at the crowd when they're singing the chorus. It's a monumental wave from the front to the back, as each row hears the music, they respond, and it gets passed behind them. Therefore, everybody gets a piece of the action.
Queen had control of every single person in that crowd. They already did "Radio Ga Ga" before, and that had the entire stadium playing along, but god damn, you talk about staying power.
This video wouldn’t be anywhere near as good in 4K UHD, the quality reflects the era
Everyone talks about Freddie for good reason but God is that guitar tone and solo amazing here
One word to describe Queen's performance at Live Aid: phenomenal
I’m so gutted I never got to see this in this flesh - Freddie mercury was a national treasure
That feeling while you're listening to this while you drive to work on Monday morning !
Queen,Freddie you made an impact during this show with many other singers, may you be remembered as a great singer of the 80s with other talented and mind blowing singer of the century. My wish for you is that you could stay a bit longer in this beautiful world and create more impact for people. May you be remember in the hearts of people and may you sleep with the stars of the night and you will always charm the everybody with your outstanding and beautiful voice. May you Rest In Peace, star voice. Freddie Mercury, September 5 1947-- November 24 1991
They didn't steal the show. They are the show.
Freddy Mercury was such a showman, such a frontman that the camera stayed locked on him even as he wasn't doing anything while Brian May is doing a guitar solo.
