Freddie's Ay-oh is bigger than many singers whole career.
Correct
He sing amazing and saying ay yo is wow .
Queen sold millions of albums, that's great! Music today in the 21st century is trivial with autotune raped dozen pop music. The best rock music has made in the past years in the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's.
@@anttilehto4985 90s had a cool music period I think too. I mean didn’t the grunge thing change how rock sounds in modern day?
True
Actually this live aid song is better than original official version
I agree
Es impresionante que una canción salga mejor en un concierto que en el estudio. Es porque son el mejor grupo de la historia.
Totally agree! Sounds SOOO much better played faster!

@Passed the i think her pic looks fine and if people want to follow islam or not is their choice plus why would you bring religion here people are here to listen to music.
The greatest 22 mins of any concert you will ever see. No back screen, no fire works, no costume change, no miming . Just pure talent loving every minute .
I've seen every band there is play live. Rush is my all time favorite. Their musicianship live is unparralled. But, as far as owning an audience and just being larger than life, Queen cannot be equalled.
Fr you just gotta enjoy and burn it into ur eyes and ears
Just an average 80’s concert, it was really rare to have that kinda stuff then
But wait, there’s no auto tune? How is this possible?
No auto-pitch. No computers. Talent that is so overwhelming it makes atheists believe there is a god after all.
I'll never forget where I was and who was there watching this....they brought down the house....by far the best performance
The way Freddie says: "HAMMER TO FAAAALL!!!" at the start of the song is so full of energy! LEGEND!

Yes his also a legend now and also Bryan and roger to
And missing him. Makes me cry again today. How about that?
Queen is one band where I think the live recordings sound better than the studio recordings
Yeah almost always, Somebody to Love was almost always better live
I think Dire Straits and Pink Floyd are in that same category. Does it matter? Not really - just play whichever version you love most
@ppvd4692 The Who were definitely in that category. Late 60s - early 70s. Now whit the internet, we can see so many of their old shows.Their live shows totally overshadow their studio output.
Nah. Some live versions are better, but nothing beat Queen’s studio production.
He had the crowd in the palm of his hand. What a performer.

I think I understand a little bit....
My mother (1942 born) was offering me a lot of Queen (Bowie too,- eg) and so on....in the 1990s.
....Idk...
When I see these Live performances I always ask myself what it would be like.....
Its a sad thought....sorry ;)
Queen is just a part of life for me. My mom was obsessed with Queen and I was born in 78, so I grew up with all the greats at the time. In the 90s my best friend was gay so lots of gay clubs in NYC and Queen was always played.
The words just ring so true for many of us. Bohemian Rhapsody is often the parody song but no truer words spoken for some. Especially Freddie for his sadness in life and early death. Just an amazing man.
My 5-year-old daughter sings with me eeeeeeooooooo every morning while I bring her to school!!!! ❤❤❤
It’s still a fact that the world will NEVER find a Freddie replacement.....and I guarantee this video will still be viewed on its 50th anniversary in 2035.......
Shoutout to the cameraman and his assistant at 1:34 . Those 80's TV cameras were HEAVY, and they have big fat cords running out the back. Freddie Mercury, almost certainly improvising, gets right up to the camera lens and starts running around them, and they don't miss a frame. You can see the assistant untangling the video and mic cords at the end, not skipping a beat. Freddie grins and gestures at them as if to say "Did you see that? These guys are awesome!" You can't wright this sh*t.
Awesome! 😂 thank you for pointing that out!

I bet he put that on his resume😂
I never noticed the end gestures! Ok now i love those and i will never miss them ever again 🖤
they still are heavy, the cameraman was ole Bob Wilson
