contrary to what people are saying, i think this is how eredrim should be used. he is a tanky high damage character. he is not meant to be rolled around.he needs to be head on with the strongest weapon. also known as the UNGA BUNGA style
I mean, nice job, but the Hammer & Chisel is actually the best weapon for him due to it's low stamina cost and high attack speed. You can literally melt bosses with it aswell.
Personally I didn’t like that weapon on him, but it’s a product of how I play dark souls rather than it being a bad combo. It is very strong I agree, just not my style is all :)
All the weapons are ok, it doesn’t really matter. Once you have your chosen weapon +5 you’ll be melting everyone no matter which weapon it is. I like the Axatana the most though, it’s practically a better hammer and chisel. The katanas also have the coolest moveset of all them too I think.
If you really want that blade to get serious use Teil!😈 You must have god like reflexes parry and know when to harden! I never played this game till my son found Teil! Which is crazy cause alot of players say he is a Glass Cannon! Small amount of health but I am amazed by his ability to ghost😱dash combo harden strike Dash out parry while all in harms way with stamina to Spare! Plus he has a perk to run constantly without the use of stamina who needs resolve when Teil is a Warrior with Ninja like Reflexes just gotta time his movements along with the enemies attacks! I can't play any other shell! Also shout out to that Gladiator Intro they sure know how to make boss music with Iconic Screams ( aaah sekt da fook da undaaa!)
Eh, I wouldn’t say the Martyr Blade is that good with Teil. I’d say Harros fits the bill better because of his faster harden recharge and stamina regen, while hardened. Lots of trading to be had and the stamina recharge keeps the pain train going.
It’s in a dead end cave near the swamp with the giant frog if I’m remembering correctly. There’s only one, so if you want to max familiarity you need to use Solomon shell and his ability to get more familiarity on use
I’d suggest make sure you have a few bolts in your bow, parts of that level are super precarious and it can be difficult to fight in such small areas without dying and losing glimpses the first few times through
I know you can farm for them, what I mean is near the end of the level is just very precarious and all the stuff gained on the way up is easy to lose is all.
It’s definitely a bit harder to use than the hammer and chisel but it’s a solid weapon and the execution stacks help damage a lot on any weapon. All weapons are good in their own way, he just makes it harder to use high stamina cost weapons like the one I use here in the video.
I’m using the weapon I found most fun. There is no wrong weapon. I prefer big swords and high hp even with very little stamina. It’s how I do strength builds on dark souls as well
I do every type of build at least once, but strength has always been my preferred. I often run low stamina to have stats to spare for vitality, but since ER and ds1 upgrade weight cap on stamina those points go there instead

I like the combo with eredrim because the execution stacks massively buff damage
