The best solo I've ever heard him play....AMAZING tone!
His works will be studied and emulated for at least the next 300 years, similar to Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, and Chopin. The good thing is, that there are good recordings and video of David's performances, so that, in the future, talented musicians will be able to hear exactly how his creations were intended to be played. Unlike the previously mentioned artists above, of whom there are no recorded samples, only sheet music, making it impossible to properly study them.
I agree I have learned a whole lot over the years from studying some of my biggest influences and Gilmour is my biggest along with Gibbons, Schenker, Gary Moore, John Frusciante, Kim Thayil, Leslie West, Jimmy Page, Iommi and Cantrell. This is his best echoes solo. Best phrasing ever comes from this man. Those bends and vibrato wow!
I'm yet to see someone in my life play the guitar like Dave
@Smashinz2002 So true. I've studied his playing for years... almost always his live solos from the post Waters era where he obviously played all the classics... A master class in Technique and feeling just bleed from Gilmour's guitar to the listener. There's soooo much to learn from this man's solos it's staggering.
The bend at 0:28 is amazing!
casualevils better at 0:47 :)
Delicatessen at the maximum expression
un minuto di magia... senza dubbio uno dei più bei soli di sempre... i bending a 0:03 e 0:28 sono mostruosi
Completely ridiculous tone.
Wish he would have stuck with a fuzzface... the Muff is so lifeless.
HuterDerSchwelle really? Ah this tone is so hauntingly beautiful
This is Pete Cornish G-2 blended with Tube Driver.
@@mustyguitar No, not sovtek clone. P-1 is a modified version of the EHX's classical "Ram's Head". If you like read about Muffs i can genuinely recommend the website of "Kit Rae" who is a Big Muff guru , there's so much detailed information about all big muffs of the history. You better check it out!
