Recorded in August 2006, as the last show of the "On an Island" tour. The concert, accompanied by the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, took place at the Gdansk Shipyard, celebrating the 26th anniversary of the Solidarity movement.

I love how every time he does this solo, it weaves through a certain number of points that make the solo what it is, but each time it has its own character and little tricks and nuances here and there that make it a new journey every time.

There are few guitarists recognizable form the very first note they play: Clapton, Knopfler, Hendix, Santana and few other. Gilmour is definitely among them: his touch and phrasing are incredible.
