Loving this video so much- your soft spoken voice is my favorite, I love hearing your stories, and these tapping and wonderful scratching sounds are making me fight to stay awake which is the perfect combination!
I can’t believe you’re going to Italy! I was just there last year. I hope you have a much better time than I did! The national airline for Italy (Alitalia, they went out of business shortly after my trip) “lost” my luggage (it wasn’t actually lost, it was stolen by airline staff who were in protest at the airport - LONG story!) two days into my 12 day trip. Because of the strict dress codes at the cathedrals, I wasn’t able to go to many of the excursions I had planned. I was able to hit up Rome and go shopping for basic necessities, but it still made quite a dent in the experience! Make sure to make a wish at Trevi fountain, catch a show at the Pantheon courtyard, and order at least one charcuterie board or focaccia bread at a local restaurant! By far the best I’ve ever had! 😍
Great to hear that your trip to Italy is eventuatong!! I'm excited to see you discover all the wonderful things about Italia 🇮🇹 I hope you have THE BEST time and eat so so so much delicious gelato.
About your toe- I actually kicked a paver stone 2 years ago and I’m pretty sure I broke my toe. Ever since I’ve had pain and occasional numbness from that toe and the one next to it when I walk barefoot or in unsupportive shoes for too long. My podiatrist said it’s a Morton’s neuroma. Your toe thing sounds similar. Maybe the same thing? Birkenstocks are my best friend!! I even hiked in them.
Wait 39 1/2 is considered large there? Thats barely a medium here. Anything under like a size 42(women) is not large. Thats wild to me. Up to $150 sounds perfectly reasonable to me for exercise shoes but not in Egypt. I dont know exactly what the average income is but I cant imagine it being anywhere near what Im used to.
Whenever I'm buying my running shoes, I would often found myself having to browse through the men's sections just so I can have shoes that'll fit me comfortably. I would often be so embarrassed about that. I feel so much better knowing that I'm not the only one😭😭
Depending on when your family immigrated from Italy, you could get an Italian passport. You have to have a birth certificate of the ancestor though. I have been searching for information on my ancestors for about a year.
