Michael Chua all mafias failed, Julia was caught by Phil, Wes called himself out after Ashley revealed that she was mafia, and Joe gave up after trying to kill Ashley for some reason. I think Joe could've won if he killed off Byron or Geo, I don't understand why he tried to kill Ashley if she said she was saving herself.

Jace Pearson I think it's because he knew the game was over and wanted to have some fun. And if Ashley tried to dupe mafia by claiming one thing and doing another, it'd be her undoing. Joe also did some advanced strats by trying to pin Josh with "rookie mistakes" but it didn't really work.
