Literally rewatching this like 3 times just to watch *Nelson's reactions* after he killed a good person. CAN SOMEONE PLS POINT OUT ALL OF NELSON'S REACTIONS?! i'm literally living for his reactions!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I never comment on YT, but since this is the most frustrating (and entertaining) game of mafia I've ever watched, here are my thoughts: 1. Steve is generally good at mafia, but I think he only made it so far in this game because the less experienced (OG-less) town wasn't perceptive enough to hang onto Ant's and Nikki's strong arguments against him and his weak counterarguments ("Steve Greene curse" is bs and repeating "you're not thinking" is not an argument). He was suspicious for claiming so early to be an important role, yet not ever being targeted by mafia and also sucking at his role (especially later on when he was not saving people who clearly needed to be saved), which was clearly nurse from the beginning. Early on, he already denied being cop (smart, because real cop would catch onto him), but he also claimed someone could vouch for him (so he couldn't be vigilante or virgin either). Therefore, he had to be nurse, and the one person who could vouch for him died early. He could've only been so ballsy about revealing his role if he knew that it would serve as his alibi without killing him (mafia won't kill him, soon-to-be-dead nurse can't expose him). Even if no one could deduce he was nurse turned mafia (hard to keep track of everything that was said as a player), Pat should've definitely checked him but never did. Steve was very clever to trick Gina into healing herself to secure the kill next round, but that might've been a bit unfair since he woke up with her after he was turned. Granted, there was only one way it would have played out if she had a chance to expose him (she saves herself, takes him down, and gets killed the next night), which would have been less interesting, losing two nurses at once would already be a big enough hit to town without also having a new mafia member run rampant with a strong alibi, which is a bit OP, considering that had Steve lain low he might have had even less chance of being checked by the cop. At the very least, the rule should be clarified so that in future games, cop/nurse doesn't rule out the other cop/nurse being turned if they wake up with them immediately after being turned. In this case, Gina had no reason not to trust Steve and heal herself, so she only kinda got outplayed. 2. Antoine is also generally good and played pretty well for most of this game (good at leading the conversation and gaining people's trust), but he made a horrible first play by coming out immediately with whom he trusted with no basis whatsoever, which is a HUGE red flag, and his defense for it made no sense. Only mafia would know who's not mafia to be able to point out who's good right away. Town or vigilante should've killed him much earlier, especially considering that Pat knew but was not vocal enough to lead the conversation. 3. On the other hand, Can did a good job at pushing back on the pressure against Antoine. Converting nurse to mafia, which was amazing for mafia, was just luck (didn't have a reason to think Steve was an important role), but even if Steve was just a civilian, it was still a good play because town would have lost a strong player either way and Steve could fall back on his "Steve Greene curse" alibi again even though it's bs. He also caught onto Pat being cop, which made him an obvious kill for mafia the next night. 4. Josh and Julia were the underrated mafia players this game. They burnt so much of the discussion time with their banter and distracted the town from the more obvious Steve and Antoine. Julia being so adamant about Josh allowed her to fly under the radar for the rest of the game when he was revealed to be mafia. Josh's sacrifice also helped Steve and Antoine, who turned on him as well. Josh and Julia also pushed for the best targets - Josh got rid of high level players like Joe and Bart, and Julia pushed hard for Casey (suspicious Ant was good to keep alive) and Pat (obvious cop at that point). And unlike Steve, Julia actually sounded earnest when she was lying (Steve sounded sketchy as hell). 5. As for the town, it goes without saying that Nelson is the absolute worst at reading people. Not only did he kill all the wrong people, he also defended all the wrong people, with the exception of voting to kill Josh (his one good move, but that was a no-brainer). He did make a good point about why he didn't kill Steve - cop should've already checked him. He couldn't risk killing an actual nurse (again), though there were other reasons to doubt Steve was (still) nurse. Even though it seemed like the game boiled down to Nelson, Pat was also pretty responsible for town losing. He failed to check highly suspicious Steve, was slow to get town to kill Antoine, and died without providing any leads (once Can and Nikki were catching onto him being cop, he should've just went all in and cleared Ryan). 6. Rest of town: Nikki raised very good points against Steve, but it was easy for Steve to dismiss her because she always goes after him. Also, she seemed too eager to put people on the chopping block at first, which made her lose the town's trust when Sean turned out to be a civilian. Ant is very perceptive but a little too perceptive to the point that he catches things that aren't really significant and is quick to point fingers, which makes his accusations less meaningful. Ryan and Michael - too quiet, easy prey/scapegoat for mafia, especially Michael, who is also nervous and easily flustered. Kyle is also quiet, but when he does talk, he makes very strong arguments/defenses. Casey always seems suspicious even when he's civilian. Tiff has good intuition (except when it comes to Casey) but is too unsure of herself. Sean's defense was weak (but so is everyone's at the beginning when there's nothing to go off of). Gina did the best she could xD, tried to protect Steve when she didn't know he was converted. Town was crippled by the loss of Joe, Bart, and Geo. I'd say MVP for town was Nikki (Kyle close second). MVP for mafia was Nelson (but really Julia).
LOL people complaining about a long as comment. Bruh... you just watched an hour and a half of other people watching mafia. Obvs expect an analysis like that.
Once the OGs were gone they just stopped using logic.. steve blatantly told everyone he had an important role and he hasn't been killed by mafia ReAlly?
What an episode. Nelson the legend!!! 1:11:47 is the funniest part of the episode with Nelson knowing he messed up. Big up to Steve who said Gina should save herself so then the mafia could kill her the next night once she knows he had converted from nurse to mafia. Mafia deserved to win this episode.
I think what we really enjoy about Mafia games, besides the intensity, is that there's so many people involved that it makes it kind of a clusterfuck, which just adds to the entertainment value
Steve made a 5000iq play at the beginning by making gina save herself the first round so that she couldnt save herself the second round when she found out.
@@annemadden7920 Yes exactly why Steve wasn't playing smart by making Gina save herself,it was Just luck. He didn't know he wasn't supposed to wake up as nurse. But as soon as Brandon announced that he decided to kill Gina..he wouldn't have otherwise. It was a coincidence that round that Gina saved herself.
Same! I thought the game was going to be fun right as soon as roles were given out, and then Steve got converted and at that point I just had to cheer on the mafia. Nelson did such a good job yeah? I was honestly worried that he'd pick one mafia member accidentally though, so I was wondering why Steve wasn't using his nurse powers on himself and Julia at the end. Maybe it would have made it more obvious that he (the nurse) was converted, but I honestly don't know why no one considered that he was mafia and the nurse at the same time. He admitted to being an important role on the second turn, wasn't killed off by the end of the game, and hadn't saved a single person even while there were multiple double kills going on. I had to laugh at that failure. Especially on Nikki's part, at least Nelson can be excused because he was on mafia's side from the start. ;D
Dan Jacob You’re right, everyone should’ve questioned why Steve hadn’t been killed yet even though he literally said he was important role with someone who could vouch for him. Also, if you get turned by mademan you resign whatever job you had before so you can’t be nurse and mafia at the same time.
@@anthonywu5258 Ah, gotcha. So was there a mistake on night 2 when he woke up as a nurse right after he was converted to a mafia, or does that resignation only happen after the night is over? Because that could have changed things, considering he convinced Gina to save herself and then got the mafia to kill her the next night. Which was just perfect, if the resignation is indeed supposed to be delayed. Edit: I kind of like the idea of having one night before having to retire from being a nurse though, so that you have a chance to not get called out as a converted mafia by the other nurse. If you don't get that, then even if you try to kill the other nurse as soon as you're converted, they'll just save themselves and call you out as soon as everyone wakes up. They'll know mafia is aware they're the nurse so there won't be any reason not to. With how it was played this time, the nurses just have to be careful of getting backstabbed the first few nights and be careful not to save themselves due to the other's suggestion. Thank goodness Gina listened to Steve's request to save her. :D
Steve wasnt that obvious. That's like saying Pat was extremely obvious by speculation. Plus how would you know he wasn't trying to save anyone. He was only 1 Nurse. People he could of saved probably weren't even targets so you cant speculate if he still was he wouldn't. Plus no one was guaranteed he was Nurse. He just said in the beginning as a civilian he is an important role. Then hinted that one person could verify it. for all anyone knew they may of thought the detective checked him. Given that he was in for so long but they gave him a pass. Thus they assumed he was being checked somewhere between the rounds being it would only make sense to. Plus they thought Maia kept Steve alive to be a fall guy. Given no one was actually being saved.
@@mindyours752 Steve was definitely obvious as a mafia candidate (not because he was bad, he made some great decisions, but due to the circumstances of the game which he couldn't control), and the cops should have definitely checked him. Calling yourself out as a role turn 2, and not getting killed by mafia within a few rounds should raise enough red flags to at least make someone suspicious. So part of the blame for letting Steve live definitely falls on the cops, but it also falls on the civilians for assuming that the cops were doing their job well. Everyone there should know that sometimes cops don't check the most obvious suspects right away due to hunches. Also, it doesn't matter if there is one or two nurses because you can still only save one person per round. When there are double kills in multiple rounds, and some of the dead were obvious targets, then the nurse is either not doing their job well at all, or were converted. Either way, when that happens and a nurse is still alive, they should at least be considered possible suspects as the converted mafia. Nikki even called Steve out for being an incompetent nurse after the last cop was killed off, but she just couldn't quite make the connection with him being converted. Which at that point, should have been a strong consideration if for no other reason than how few people were still alive. Especially after Nelson admitted to being a horrible vigilante and no one called him a liar. She knew she wasn't mafia, suspected that Kyle wasn't due to him calling out two mafia members and voting for a third, so I find it hilarious that she didn't connect the dots even at that point. If she had, and been like "Wait, Nelson, I think that Steve was a nurse but has been converted, and that Julia is the other mafia member." I think he would have killed one of them off, and with the number advantage of 2 versus 1, they would have won the game. So glad she didn't make that vital connection. I definitely think that these numbers are stacked against mafia, so I'm proud of Steve for making it work. He truly made some great strategy decisions, especially with calling out Josh as a mafia and for not killing off Nikki which would have gotten him killed off immediately after all the suspicion she placed on him from the start.
Yooo, Steve played Gina so fucking bad. He was converted, then told Gina to save herself, the next round they kill Gina and Gina can't save herself because Steve told her to save herself the last round... God damn, probably the best play I've ever seen on these. Steve is getting too good lmao
this makes up for all the mafia we haven't had recently... wasn't expecting another one for a few months AT LEAST. I'VE BEEN BLESSED. literally screamed out loud from seeing this in my sub box lmao
Tbf though, Bart did understand him, because once he heard Josh's explanation, he was immediately convinced to take Josh off the chopping block (30:58). That being said, Bart's voice was kinda drowned up by the crowd.
I always watch the roles hidden first. In the heat of the moment and with such a big group you have to have all of this information in your head at once, while simultaneously making sure you do your part and not look like a mafia. So when josh said what he did the first time i was fucking confused like the rest of them because i did not absorb wtf he said at all. This time around because i know what happened and i'm paying more attention to the the roles of the players it made much more sense. Bart thinks logically. The rest of them were in accusation mode and not really following along.
Freaking NELSON. He's the main character in this whole game. It was ALL Nelson and his confusion, and the Dead Box going insane. I was more shocked in this Mafia game than when I watched The Nun. Great game, JK Crew, GREAT GAME. xD
New role idea: the clairvoyant. The dead box can choose a person to reveal to the clairvoyant during the night (maybe they communicate with the host through an earpiece or smth) It would be interesting because people probably wouldn’t believe them if they just accuse someone based on the voices of the “ghosts”
In order for this to work you'd need to either A) prevent people in the deadbox from knowing who is Mafia (and cop/nurse for that matter) B) not reveal cards to town after death C) combine A and B. D) have voice chosen at random and the message relayed by one of the crew so the identity of the voice isn't given away The reason is because if cards are revealed to town at death then that means the clairvoyant can easily track how many mafia died versus how many civilians died. Meaning, it'd be easy to determine whether or not they should believe the voice. I think the clairvoyant with option B is pretty interesting. The clairvoyant wouldn't know if they are listening to a mafia or a civilian and whether to trust them or not. If you add in option A that means dead people have a reason to analyze the events carefully so that they can help the clairvoyant. But yeah, this would be a cool addition. It'd make those in the deadbox still able to contribute and not fully out of the game.
How did town not pick up on Julia overreacting to everything? Especially when she was reacting to Nikki's theory that Josh could've been using the Julia fighting tactic to hide that he's mafia. Her expressions were so exaggerated. Also, omg Nelson :')
Not to mention when geo got out as well and her face is such an exageration it is hillarious. When they killed Ken both Julia and Steve jumped up. Total exageration.
You can't underestimate how well the Mafia played to confuse most of the players, kill the strongest players first, fight against each other and put on a great act. It's easy to say Nelson was bad without being in his shoes, but that's probably correct. However he was also forced to kill sometimes and had unlucky guesses. It was tough.
YEAH. Everyone ignored what Ant said when he mentioned that if Steve was truly a role (other than mafia), mafia would have killed him, but they didn't! It's so weird that that logic flew over everyone's head even though they agreed with him lol
Guys i love your mafia games.. Seriously. One suggestion though Silently make the dead person at night disappear, so that when everybody wakes up they realize who is dead instead of the story
I’m rewatching the jkp videos because I miss them so much but I just wanna mention that Nikki is looking so pretty in this episode and she was the only one being sensible calling out Steve and even Julia when no one even had suspicions on Julia
Are you seriously saying? Did you even watch the game? What about him was so cuuute? When he would'bt listen to anyone? When he would kill even in the free rounds? When he would keep yelling over and over even when he realized he completely fucked up? When people told him you killed all the good people he lied and said "I did get some people didn't I"? Do you find assholes who don't think and don't listen cute?
@@1999sFavorite he's an asshole for not listening even after making mistake after mistake. Not just during the game when he kept realizing he fucked up but finally when the game was over. I'm calling an asshole for yelling over everyone after the game was over and not listening to what anyone was saying g.
There were a couple things that I feel like gave mafia an unfair advantage. When Steve got turned he still woke up as nurse when he wasn't supposed to and convince Gina to save herself which then ended up killing her in the next round. Also why did B-choi randomly say that Steve got saved in one of his stories? It made everyone else think the nurse wasn't turned and Steve was still nurse
Really great observations (Yo Yo) I also noticed it.. There's always a couple big give aways. Bart pointing at people when he's the cop, shouldn't have been allowed.

This is by far the best mafia game. Can and Nelson are MVPs, and props to Julia for her great acting!
Kyle is the true MVP. He’s the dude who points out someone with logic, and this game he pointed the people who were mafia, and he pointed out no one who were civilians. And I love him because he’s hot including his voice. Mwah.
Kyle is *the* snack. ✌😂

how fitting is it that nelson is the cause for the downfall of civilians and yet he was the the civilian standing. lolololol

Stone cold Steve Greene played the hellllll out of Gina😂 and I agree Nelson is a vigilante LEGEND. I love when the mafia wins. This was a hilarious and refreshing game.
This was the best game of mafia I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Good job everyone. Nelson you’re mvp and 100% entertaining. Steve. Great job Steve. Props to all the mafia.

The most unluckiest person
Nelson made this episode of mafia one of the most entertaining 😂 love him
I never comment on YT, but since this is the most frustrating (and entertaining) game of mafia I've ever watched, here are my thoughts:
Get a life
Good points Jason
Too long didn’t read
Thank you! This is the perfect summary. And yes, I want Kyle to come back next game and be more vocal and EVERYONE SHOULD ACTUALLY LISTEN TO HIM.

Steve made a 5000iq play at the beginning by making gina save herself the first round so that she couldnt save herself the second round when she found out.
He shouldn’t have been able to wake up
Andrew Cruz He didn’t know, and it’s not like they were going to start over
@@annemadden7920 Yes exactly why Steve wasn't playing smart by making Gina save herself,it was Just luck. He didn't know he wasn't supposed to wake up as nurse. But as soon as Brandon announced that he decided to kill Gina..he wouldn't have otherwise. It was a coincidence that round that Gina saved herself.

Gambit damn Nelson omfg I can’t!!!!
One of the most entertaining games of Mafia they have played in a while. Poor Nelson
This was the only game of mafia where I wanted the mafia to win
I just keep coming back to this specific round of mafia becaus it is legendary
good times
Rewatching all the Mafia videos made me realise how much Julia has improved her gameplay. Damn! She and Can were the MVPs. And so was Nelson.
Yooo, Steve played Gina so fucking bad. He was converted, then told Gina to save herself, the next round they kill Gina and Gina can't save herself because Steve told her to save herself the last round... God damn, probably the best play I've ever seen on these. Steve is getting too good lmao

The best game of Mafia. Ever. Period.
P.s. Julie is now an OG.
Even tho Josh was Mafia, I got kinda mad when he was explaining a simple concept and no one understood him.
I know. They say they are confused but it was actually simple to understand they just dont listen to him.
Nobody actually listens in this game lmao
They do that a lot to Josh. He makes sense to me.
Nikki in that dress is so pretty oml.
They're all so funny
Nelson is adorable
So many different personalities in one room.
Thats pretty fucking good
@dani i think it could still work!!
In order for this to work you'd need to either
A) prevent people in the deadbox from knowing who is Mafia (and cop/nurse for that matter)
B) not reveal cards to town after death
C) combine A and B.
D) have voice chosen at random and the message relayed by one of the crew so the identity of the voice isn't given away
The reason is because if cards are revealed to town at death then that means the clairvoyant can easily track how many mafia died versus how many civilians died.
Nelson killed a cop, a nurse, and three civilians. Man, and we thought Josh was bad.

It was Gina who was the nurse not Nikki.
Exactly...this was in mafia's favor. Steve shouldn't have pretended he was a nurse.
Yo Yo it was a grey spot. No one ever discussed what would happen if vigilante turns a cop or nurse into mafia
Really great observations (Yo Yo) I also noticed it.. There's always a couple big give aways. Bart pointing at people when he's the cop, shouldn't have been allowed.
This video proves that the OG don’t have to stay to keep jkp alive we love you nelson come back anytimeee
