I think more people should know about this Roku 4k streaming stick because it's a good value and powerful for it's price. I have one and I love it.

Sir more people should know two things...one remote is IR....so if you have two devices that are using the IR remote like say a TCL Roku TV or any player using a IR remote...the remotes on both devices will control all TVs.....causing a host of bizarre goofy issues like turning on both tvs at once. Told by TCL to separate the TV's far apart.

Secondly not every remote comes with a pairing button. It came to play for me when I installed a Streaming Stick on one tv and moved it. Now the stick works but will not control new TV's power and volume buttons. Press them and the original tv turns off or you get louder volume because it is paired with that TV. You have no pair button to pair new tv. Just using the tv remote that came with tv.

P.S. The Streaming Stick 4K remote is using a wireless remote. Just for your information. No streaming stick is using IR remotes but if you have the older Roku Express or Roku Premiere they use IR remotes. I should research more though. Remember with a IR remote device, move it far away from another device with IR. Not next to each other or in same room. Has to be apart to not have issues.

Yours is the only video demonstration of how to connect the two bits of the adaptor. I have been searchingt the web for the instructions, even the instructions that came with the Roku stick did not have it. I have nolego skills. 😁A Very big thank you😊

Except that adaptor looks like it's European plug on the end. Will the US versions have as 2 piece connection?

Once installed you have a issue if you move stick to new tv. It will work but not control power and volume. Keep the tv remote handy. Your stick is paired to a different television. No way to pair the power and volume buttons. Unless you can explain me where the pairing button is?

I did find a way to reset and get start up menu. Lose the apps though. Have to reinstall.
