Can I say, I am glad that you have unloaded new videos. I was hoping you didn't call it quits. But understood if you did. Sometimes videos being lost and the time to takes to upload and edit. Thanks
If you aren’t riding the struggle bus, are you really even farming? I built a 16 row stack fold planter out of two 8 row maxemerge planters. It ate my lunch the first year. Once I got the bugs worked out it ran smooth as butter. Don’t quit on your invention yet.
Ain’t that the truth. I expected breakdowns and things that just didn’t work my first year.. some of them my own dumb fault lol building is always a better experience than buying!
@@salisburyfarmsit is! Because of the ole sweat equity. Take a break and put it out of your mind, your old brain usually will figure it out on its own. Besides, you can play with it this winter,,,,, while us southern boys are out workin ground 😎
We have found the black spiral hose much more durable than the bumble bee hose. Doesn't swell near as much under pressure. Does this replace your flex could air cart.
Nope, this is an addition. We will still make strips and put dry fertilizer down with our strip-till bar in the fall. This comes back in the spring and freshens up the strips!
We use zone tillage We can put down P and K with the zone builder /inline ripper with the flexcoyl be hind it in the fall on bean stubble. Then with the zone tillage the 12row planter hanging 3point on the back putting down 32 in the zone and popup in furrow. The one downside if conditions are wet You can have build up on the gauge wheels which I built scrapers from the start. Your freshner would do all this with a chance for it to dry some before the planter.
Awesome video. thank you guys
Great video Jay and Randy

Appreciate it. I realize that I’ll enjoy watching these back when I’m 80, so I’ll be here for a while I hope lol
👍 thanks
U gonna run implement guidance on the orthman this fall
Yessir. Going to get set up with autopath so every piece of equipment will just follow the strips!
@salisburyfarms I'd add a agitation line with a manual valve to that so it doesn't blow things up
@agger838 with that pwm valve it should do that in the first place.. but yes I think you’re right.
Great video. I am learning a lot. Thank you!
