Ordered this tip set last night. Can’t wait to give them a try ✊
They are awesome. I was using the 4 by 4 while my buddy was swinging a full floating line. I was catching and he wasn't. I lent him my microspey with floating head and 4 X 4 tip - and he caught a bass. :-)
Not bad young man, thanks for the video, lots of info here for those who can grasp it.
Tell Ed to design an midge tip or emerger tip with like 3 to 6 feet of hover or slow sink.
So will there be an intermediate version? Ie 4ft intermediate 4ft sink?
The groove is a great trout line to have, seems ashame to have to go back to strictly floating heads to use these trout specific tips
What tip would you use on a 9’ 6wt and a 225 gr commando smooth, T6 or T8 - or both?
Both depending on river conditions
Nice video ,
What tips would go well with 10ft 8w single hand skagit? I am thinking of trying your 300gr commando micro skagit head
The DD8's would pair properly with your 8wt.
@@OPSkagit ,Just to be clear you are refering D2T8 ?

“Game changer.” I preferred the game as it was.
