- We have a cool segment here from Ed, a short
discussion on some Spey fishing traditions and how the
evolution began. Ed drops some knowledge regarding
steelhead and their history, and how that influenced
how they started to view the fish. This in turn influenced
developments in the Steelheading community. This is a
cool one, don't miss it! - Спорт
Another gem you guys! Thanks Ed!
Our pleasure!
Another great Video Ed. I know this is off topic but a video on your landng technique wthout the use of a net by stripping off line so that we can understande the sdequence and see how you place your rod while takng the hook out wth the fish all the time n the water would be very helpful and good to see. also congatulations on te new oval line. I thought te original Lazar was good but this seems more comfortable and easier to handle. THree solid days of fishing and only one rod guide wrapp and one tangle. Easch time after stetching the line no problem for the rrst of the day. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for sharing, Ed 👍!
Thanks for watching!
Outstanding video. Never knew that. Love fishing for both. 😎
Glad you liked it John!
Good words from MR: Ed few people has his experience!
My self borne in Sweden so Norway was my mecka as young and still is.
But the difference in the Atlantic salmon and Steelhead is big.
We don't fish the ripple because salmon do not stand there ! They stand the outside or above it and a different thing more Salmon do not stand at the bottom!
They surf the water hanging above the bottom that's important as you fish for Salmon.
Steelhead I did learn a lot as I did move to USA and start fish that fish.
Just some input from across the pond 😁
Best regards from Scandinavia and Sweden 🇸🇪
Thank you for watching the video!
