- Want to know how to clip coupons and save EXTRA money? All you have to do is ask my friend Richard. I am excited to share with his tips and secrets how to save even more money at the grocery store. Jewel is a huge company and these tips will apply to partnering stores by using the app.
Richard helped me load the Jewel app and now I can participate, like he does, in saving extra money on items I would normally buy (and of course some new items to try). In addition to the coupons, Jewel has deep discounts hidden all over the store. It's like a bargain hunt, woohoo!

There's so many ways to save money out there and Richard is a great resource. We are doing another feature soon on a different way to make $ for doing nothing.
This is great information and I'll put this on my phone to shop at Jewel. I love the tips about the wine and buy one get one free.
The savings are amazing especially when you can go in ahead of time to figure out what you currently use in your home.
How do you get rewards ?. I know how to use rewards if you have in your accounts but do not know how to earn rewards. Pl advise. My account shows 0 rewards.

Just make sure before you shop to click on the items you want to purchase, I would do this before you shop so when you check out, it is easy. I'll check with Richard as well to make sure I have answered this correctly.
@@vickividalia1030 It really does not take that long - I do this at breakfast or lunch before shopping and I can quickly go through all the "deals" in about 3-5 minutes as I look for what I shop for and I don't get pulled into products I don't buy, so it is really just scanning for what I normally buy. I also like that it creates a shopping list for you so you can remember to pick up all the deals!
At the checkout it did not take long as all. You could also have one of the boys be in charge of helping you with the coupons, it is really fun and they might enjoy the responsibility.
If you go through the regular check-out lane (as in not self-checkout) will the For U discounts be on the screen as they are rung up, or do they wait and then have them all show up at the end? I just tried this for the first time yesterday, clipped stuff while logged in to my account for the store I shop at, put my phone number in at check-out which has linked to my account before, and I didn't get any of the clipped prices. Is there a way to see on your receipt if it had your For U information? Do you know how long it takes after shopping for your points to update in the app? Sorry so many questions! Thanks for the bonus tip on the Johnsonville being nitrate free, I had no idea! Nitrates is a huge migraine trigger for me.

This happened to me once too so I asked at Jewel and it DOES take time for the coupons to activate on the app (they told me sometimes up to 10 or 15 minutes, not sure why). So, I do all of my items before I go shopping just in case. On the receipt, the extra coupons show up as "Just for U" discounts, so look for those and usually do occur at the end of your checking out. I always check before I leave and then go to Customer Service if they are not on my receipt. Sometimes they are very specific and I have bought the wrong size or flavor and that is why they did not show up (but I have found they are usually pretty helpful and give you the discount). - From Richard
