- Hi everyone I wanted to make this video to help you better understand how to navigate through the new Safeway just for u app!

I’ve been a Safeway customer for over 30 yrs. I will now shop elsewhere since I can not figure out this new point system. I’m not the only one!

The things that anger angry people amaze me
Every time I scan the digital coupon tag at the store it says there is no deal for this product. Why does it do that? Can you make a video where you go to your store and give us a visual example of "The Safeway Coupon Experience"? It would be cool to see the actual process of getting the item at the store and going through the process all the way to checkout to show how to do it.
I hate the safeway app n clip n sales it never works
Guy's don't normally have anything to do with coupons, in this case, your having to shop twice. There has to be a better way, as is, it's a waste of time to go through each item twice!! If something is selling for less your card should be more than enough!!! 😤😤😤
Safeway could give you the same sales using the plastic card, but they'd rather turn you into a cellphone zombie.👾
Sorry, but I hate these "digital coupons". I tried at the store and could not figure out how it works, and scanning barcodes failed every time. There is nothing intuitive about the Home screen...there is no "barcode scanner". A tiny little icon isn't sufficient to figure it out. I just gave up trying. I'll avoid them until I can figure this out. Very frustrating for those of us (like me) who despise cell phones, and devious by Safeway to make you pay full price because they know you'll give up.
We don't need to know anything. Don't be a trunk monkey. All you need is a card for the store. If they are too lazy to align their computer systems to make it convenient for their shoppers, then don't shop there. All that cell phone monkey couponing, OMG. Stop it! absurd!!!!!!!

i just use my tablet at home & go thru clip everything each week then i dont have to mess around at the store with a damn phone!
IF YOU THOUGHT COUPONS WERE A PAIN, SAFEWAYS APP TAKES THE CAKE, IT'S THE WORST APP OF ALL TIME; HOWEVER, IT'S GREAT FOR HOLDING UP A LINE!!!

Please contact customer support of Safeway if you guys are having hard time navigating the app or if the coupons doesn’t work, we will help you and let see if we can also help you with your coupons. Also, if you unclip the reward, it will be added back to your rewards. Hopw it helps.❤

i noticed there is an unclip option now next to my selected rewards that i redeemed that wasnt there previously. i thought once you confirm your reward that it was not reversible so i dont want to click the unclip until i know exactly what happens! i suppose i could waste 1 reward by selecting an item then see what happens when i unclip the item, have you used this unclip option yet?
How do you scan the barcode on the weekly add paper?
I noticed that sometimes the cash register doesn't read the digital coupon price, so check your receipts always.
I'll shop at Walmart. They don't require you go through all this mess to get a lower price. They care about merging with Kroger's to make management obsenely rich at the expense of the customers they don't care about.
I have a question when I’m shopping in the store sometimes I will see a digital coupon for a lower amount how do I get that price? I can never seem to find that digital coupon on the app?

Thank you for the tutorial. Tried to use the app for gas rewards, but it asked for my loyalty number… can’t find it anywhere in the app. Where is this located?
It’s the phone number the card is under. Hope this helps.

Another thing is the rewards you accumulate during the month do not expire until the end of the following month! so for example you may have 10 rewards & it will tell you that you have 3 rewards expiring at the end of the month, thats because those 3 rewards you earned the month before, the same goes for redeeming once you clip a reward you have until the end of the following month to redeem your item before it expires. so if i clip a reward today Sept.3 i have until the end of Oct. to redeem it ✌
I work as a Safeway checker and it drives customers nuts when this doesn’t work.
Yes, it works, just us as checkers don’t have time to explain it to everyone
Actually, some Safeway employees don't know how to use the app or tell anyone how to use digital coupons. I stopped a Safeway employee in an aisle today and she had no idea how to clip and use digital coupons. I wanted to say, "don't you work for Safeway,?" but I decided to be nice and said nothing. Couldn't believe it.

Video could have been better. You could have explained how the coupons work when you've got your milk with the coupon at the store.

Worthless because this video does not show you the procedure to scan while you are shopping at a store or how to buy items after scanning. Maybe the app doesn't even work for shopping at a store - this tutorial does tell you those basic things like that!
