My daughter's favorite song. She would dance to this at the age of two. Thank you Radiohead for the good times.
isnt it magical when a song you love connects with them. there isn't a word to describe it.
no one cares
@@rike94 who hurt you baby?
@@hylasgeist1568 he likes charlie brown he's probably just gay
@@jack-uv6mtbeing gay ≠ being rude
I hope no one's forgotten this song exists.
+Wesslyn not me.....fantastic song. Along with These are my twisted words.
I won't forget
hell no it's beautiful
I never will. Heard this for the first time I had my heart broken. I'll never forget it. Toi-Knights

Radiohead is so good their B-sides are better than most band's hit singles.
Well, this is also better than any of Radiohead's hit singles. My top 3 Radiohead song of all time.
Haha True!
lol 21 pilots is so gay in a bad way
Agreed. Imagine being so good that songs like _Talk Show Host_ and _Pearly_ are just b-sides. Fucking unreal.
this song is huntingly beautiful
Must have listened listened to this a million times
So did I ....
There's something in this song where I lose myself. Another reminder that Radiohead has such a capacity for recreating, redefining and reinventing itself.
One of the best songs that I have ever heard from Radiohead.
someone needs to make a version of it where the groove just carries on for an hour or so
man, don't ask who else is here in 2020, we never left....
Best UA-cam comments post of the year ^^

Until the end of my life
Metaphorically rich best comment to date, no not from some show pish posh
Best post eva seen to date
one of the rare songs that fit every mood imho.sleepy, running, sad etc.
I listen to this when screaming
Corriendo siii!!. Y manejando en la ruta o viajando en bus
I listen to this when hiding the bodies.
This song is pure magic!!! I will never get tired of saying that this is one of their best songs ever. Sooooo underrated.
Magic 🪄 does not exist child. Because God said so. God is the only one who can perform a miracle. So please, be careful now...our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is watching and listening to us all and I mean at all times. 👀
@@GodJesusChristTheHolySpirit Im so sorry but you seem so annoying
@@Bombocl611que tendrá que ver no?. Acá hablamos de esta canción de Radiohead
I absolutely agree! My Number one!
underrated asf
I'm jealous of their inspiration....seriously. Breathlessly listening. Thank you, guys.
Their inspiration seems to be a speeding train.
This song is like a soundtrack to someone taking a ride back from visiting the future and thinking about all the shit they saw on their trip
I was not a Radiohead fan 10 years ago (although I LOVE Kid A now) but I am a FANATIC now - this band is only getting better. I love the direction they are going in.
hagglejews
Timothy Dannenhoffer I agree man, I love tkol :)
I've been somewhat obsessed with Radiohead for nearly 20 years and this song is one of my favorites. It's just one of those grooves you never want to end. Something to lose yourself in... and amazing with good weed and headphones
Yeah I definitely concur with it being a groove I never want to end. It's simply hypnotizing, in a morose kind of way.
Hierba noo 😅
Yesssss babe❤❤❤❤❤
*Lyrics*
I walk down the staircase,
Magnetic pull.
Back to the other place
That I cannot go.
I'm sending a chopper,
To steal you away.
The pot is full,
Let me take control,
Let me take control.
The pot is full
Of secrets to be told,
Secrets to be told.
Out of orbit
And I always will.
The pot is full,
Let me take control,
Let me take control.
The pot is full
Of secrets to be told,
Secrets to be told
The key shifts, that driving bass line, Thom’s voice floating into the ether...this song feels like a place I never want to get to because I’m enjoying the ride...Radiohead = magic😍
Pura magia. Y especial para viajar 😍
Most underrated song ever
To everyone who is saying replace "____" with "____", you can buy the digital tracks and organize them yourself in one album. My TKOL is, Bloom, Magpie, The Daily Mail, Little, Feral, Lotus Flower, Staircase, Codex, Give up the Ghost, The Butcher, Supercollider, Seperator.
What was once an 8 track album, is now a 12!
My ideal TKOL is
Bloom, Magpie, Little by Little, Staircase, Lotus Flower, The Butcher, Codex, Give up the Ghost, Separator, Daily Mail.
Cut offs Supercollider and Feral.
marco matheus
Bloom, These are my Twisted Words, The Butcher, Codex, Separator, Staircase
Supercollider, Morning Mr. Magpie, Lotus Flower, Little by Little, The Daily Mail
Still so annoyed that they didn't add The Butcher to the live in the basement performance. Brilliant track.
Bloom, The Daily Mail, Twisted Words, The Butcher, Lotus Flower, Staircase, Codex, Give Up the Ghost, Separator
Brilliant James. I thought I was the only one who did this...
I cleared a pub in edinburgh putting this song on after the football they have no taste 🤣🤣🤣
let face Radiohead is the best band of all time

URAYOAN GARRIGA
On this very subjective subject, what is your opinion on best band?
@@urayoangarriga lol..fuck off
i think you're forgetting about alvin and the chipmunks
I prefer them instead of even the Beatles.
simply marvelous, the bass is excepcionally
Three years on and we still don't know what the bass was...
this album lives and breathes in bass, it's amazing
now 5 years we dont know what the bass was
one of the basses of all time
exceptionally exceptional I guess
What a beautiful exit
Its impossible to pick the best radiohead song, because they are all the best.
Love Ed's guitar on this.
+Rafaello Fareday Fun fact: it follows the same rhythmic pattern as that on "Paranoid Android"'s chorus (but sped up).
+Rafaello Fareday Yeah he does the cool ambient shit.
+Rafaello Fareday The melodic parts are my favourite.
True, but Colin always gets overlooked even though his bass lines are fuckin' groovy.
That's Greenwood's part.
King of Limbs from the Basement is incredible. Better than the studio version.
Indeeed.
+Descendant of Kraff exactly !!
+Descendant of Kraff Petty sure this is exactly the same version, just a new mix/master of it and Thom Yoke re-recorded his vocals...
+Descendant of Kraff Yeah, I didn't care about The King of Limbs... until I heard the From The Basement versions.
I'm not a fan. I like the different studio feels to both versions, but the polished album is just more appealing, nocer to listen to after a long day's work :3
Absolutely perfect.
Right!
Can't stop listening this song... is fucking mind-blowing
i only found this song last week and i feel the same
Idem !!
can u feel the groove.. this beat... omg i cant stop.. let me take control..
Almost 9 years and it’s not only one of my favorite Radiohead songs but one of my favorite songs of all time
BEST SONG
Hypnotic and beautiful.
Reminds me of 80's music for no reason what so ever, love this song.
this is my current rotation rn, such a great b side, catchy bass line and upbeat yet melancholic song
A Radiohead song I haven't heard yet, nice.
Edit: Listened to it, loved it.
I can lose myself in this over n over again being on plane train or automobile magical😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
absolutely right
Yesssss
above and beyond anything i've heard for a long time. drums, guitar, voice, synths, lyrics. Please tell me someone else is innovating out there, cuz i haven't heard anything like radiohead keeps putting out and i am a self-diagnosed audiophile. these guys take it to the next level for me; every element serves a purpose
Yes, I totally agree, regardless of what feeling they want to achieve in their music, especially since In Rainbows, I can hear complete harmony of sounds. Like hearts of all members of band beating together. Every, even the smallest sound has a meaning and is needed. That's why I love this band more and more, with every next album.
Refreshing, i find myself listening to random mainstream hip-hop songs across youtube. I always find my way back to the music though, the real music.
Jacob Marks yes, sometimes mainstream doesn’t quite satisfy me, so going out to more niche areas (although Radiohead has a pretty big following ) is pretty refreshing. Not to mention, it can be deep and beautiful, too.
why, but why?
Wrote a 5 page research like paper in about 6 hours and this is the only song I listened to. Thank you Radiohead! I now have 2 hours to relax before it's due. :D
im 11 years late, but i'm glad you had that moment of peace bro
That's great ! Relaxed I hope
time made this one of the greatest Radiohead songs
I´ll never understand why this song is not in The King of the Limbs. Is far better than three or four of the album songs.
I was hoping this track would be on A Moon Shaped Pool, I freakin' love this song
So do I man
It doesn't really fit in with the sonic landscape the AMSP has. If they reworked it, then maybe...
me too... such an uplifting groove! MSP is only like the 4th best R album for me :/
Defo.. King Of Limbs is my least favourite Radiohead album.. a few gems there still :)
I must not have the Best taste in music then :)
Best raidiohead tune ever made❤😅
The artist aspect of radiohead and thom york is stunning!
seriously how can somebody dislike this ?
+Viktor Sz haters gotta hate
Their pot remained empty, unfortunately.
Sometimes, when you're tired or distracted, you can "mis-click", since there's no notification for people, they never realise. Thus, dislikes end up happening.
It's a rhetorical question, isn't it? Then, the answer doesn't matter
me :3
The artistic aspect of their music is top notch
❤still saying, best raidiohead tune ever!❤😂❤❤
I absolutely agree !!!
This song is fucking increadibal
Amazing. One the best songs ever.. Among many many radiohead's playlist
AMAZING SONG
my fucking lord this is beautiful
I really can't get over how magnificent this song is.
That's exactly what I feel.
This song and supercollider have a certain energy to them that I simply can't describe. It's like the feeling of floating through open waters, no fear of drowning but no desire to resurface. If that makes any sense. Perhaps I'm just getting overly deep because it's 1 AM and I'm listening to Radiohead
KOTL will be a classic in 10 years time
+Walktherails giff mana
+centipede127 Stop feeding the fucking Invoker you fucking shitstain.
King of the limbs?
it really wont. This track isnt even on it
Questa canzone ti fa spaziare di gioia ma anche di profonda malinconia allo stesso tempo ..fantastica❤
The best of the best.
The King of Limbs (When you include Staircase, The Daily Mail, and Supercollider/The Butcher) has become one of my favorite Radiohead albums. Every time I listen I find something new to try with my own music. They are just inspiring, the technique, the production. Just incredible.
This is still one of the best songs I’ve ever heard, such an amazing song
Anyone who say that they arent like the old days anymore, they are so wrong...i love all their works but more often i listen their late stuff
+Aggeliki Triantafyllou there's no going back for me. their older stuff sounds like a college project to me (OKC and older pretty much) even though those are the albums that got me started. I'm glad they are changing, because so is my taste
Exactly, their music is for every moment and every mood. The cheepest time capsule.
The Bends and OKC feel a lot more immature and kind of out of place compared to their other albums. But I still think they belong with everything they've made since '95
You're saying that 2016 radiohead is just like 1996 radiohead?
απλά γίνονται καλύτεροι με τον χρόνο!ΜΠΑΝΤΑΡΑ!
this is totally me when i walk down a staircase
magnetic pull
Radiohead seriously haven't lost it. The LP9 hype train can't stop.
***** I'm waiting for LP9 like crazy. Going insane.
now waiting for lp10 :/
@@martinvackar9005 Gong to be waiting a while unfortunately ):
Staircase is definitely up there with the best Radiohead songs. So addicting!
They are so consistantly brilliant, every album, love them, they can do no wrong for me.
Love how the bassline changes octaves at the beginning.
Best tune raidiohead ever made
haven't listened to this in at least two months ... god what a pleasure to hear it once more !
this is without a doubt one of the most beautiful pieces of music made in 2011.
Absolutely amazing. Radiohead continues to blow me away album after album.
Song after song, even their b-sides are amazing.
We are not dead yet! 2021 and keep going
This song gives me almost the same sensations as Oxygene PT4 of JMJ, it's like being in space dancing strangely but totally in ecstasy, im glad to be deepened in Radiohead, i hope i had been a fan for before, love this band .
It's so fascinating the emotions they can conjure up within me, and the consistent talent that they always seem to bring.
One of their best songs I think....it's got haunting quality to it!
My mood with this song is fired immediately. I just love it !
80's groove and sound's 30 year's on, love this one. Radiohead keeping on keeping on, being great musos.
This band has the greatest b sides ever
That synth...
Radiohead are masters in sound design
There's so much beautiful music in the world. One lifetime isn't enough.
this cant be music ... this has to be art for ears
You know, huh... music is art too...
I don't get why people believe only paintings are art
WeiselFalso ... and literature
WeiselFalso sure is , but when u got pop songs hey baby hey baby lyrics and rap songs singing bout bitches and money , thats commercial music not art . so music is art too ( but not all music) heck i woudnt even call the above music but hey by definition it is . just like there is music thats not art there is music that is art just as there is drawings considered to be art , and drawings considered to be doodles , art is subjective anyways and u cant just say you know music is art since anything can be art . like i believe anything can be art . art is anything brilliant emotional and creative by my understanding of what art means .
@Kar Bo art for ears... isn't that the definition of music?
Which is why it's called...wait for it...wait for it...ART ROCK.
This just goes to show how amazing Radiohead is. Masterpieces even in B-side tracks.
Amazing song! Thank You!
That`s one of the most gorgeous songs they`ve ever made
You guys are incredible. It must be a great feeling making this music.
how
just how do they keep on doing this amazing stuff
god bless radiohead
Bloody hell this is so good 👍
My current favorite RH song, that bass omgggg
so many things happening in this song. love it
This was uploaded exactly 10 years ago today. Think I'll celebrate by giving it a listen...
Still top 5. Period.
cant make out of it but i love it , thats what music should look like in this
confusing days
It was epic at the concert last night in Melbourne and it's going to be a constant reminder of an excellent experience for the rest of my life. I'll be enjoying it to the end of my days...
ALL OF THESE YEARS
I thought it was:
"I have always - and always will."
but it's actually "out of orbit" ...?
*what?!*
What a BEAUTIFUL song this is!
this song makes me cry ..I don't know why
Me too. That chorus "my pot is full, let me take control, of secrets to be told" on repeat its too much. touches me like...deep :')
+Alejandro Aguilar me three
+Alejandro Aguilar even though it's just a random sentence
i'm dancing
Even so, the chorus and the ending progression are just so beautiful. :'(
It feels good every time the chorus kicks in, great song
listening to this I can feel everything I was, I am and everything I wished I have done, the light and the darkness of my life in the same time.
Amo esta maldita canción !!
QUE BUENA CANCION CARAJO
Radiohead just changed my life. Again.
the bass tho, this song is everything
I love The King Of Limbs, but it could've been one of Radiohead's finest albums if "Staircase" and "The Butcher" (I looove the morbidity of these tracks, such masterpierces) were one it and "Supercollider" closing the tracklist.
League of their own by definition
Probably my favourite song. Im still coming back 4 this 1
Fav song of this year
