How can you format downloaded UA-cam videos so that they are able to play from a USB stick? I've tried several different ways & I always get "unable to play file" or something similar. Every time.

At 1:34 in the video pause it. Under the settings, EQ and browse buttons is an app mode button. The finger touching the screen. If I press it my screen go black, music keeps playing and nothing else happens. This button is completely ignored everywhere I look. What is it's purpose? If I search app mode it brings up info for app radio live and such which isn't what this is. HELP. I'm using an iPhone 5 with the lightning cable.

Does anyone have experience using Google Maps on your phone with this unit? Haven't had much luck getting it to show my google maps on the unit from my S6 using Mirrorlink. Thanks.

Crutchfield Sorry for all the questions, but thanks so much for the help. I have the Galaxy S6, mirrorlink compatible phone. I've hooked it up, and it says it's connected mirrorlink, however the only "app" it shows is the phone. I can't figure out how to get it to show Google Maps. I was also curious if Mirrorlink worked via bluetooth, or does it have to be hooked via cable. Thank you for the help!!

youngin229 This function is only available when a file on a USB storage device or a song on an iPod is being played. When avaiklable, you'll see a button on the touchscreen labeled "MIXTRAX EZ" you can use to toggle the feature on/off. Just installed my unit and I have a question for those Android (galaxy s4) users: Are there any navigation apps that work with this unit? The ones listed as compatible: Waze and Navmii do not seem to work for Android.
The Pioneer AVH-X2700BS will allow you to use your Android phone's built-in Google maps on screen; it doesn't appear that Waze or Navmii are supported.

+Victoria Torres In order to get SiriusXM on the Pioneer unit, you'd need the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner SXV300v1 (link: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYTVc000/p_220SXV300/SiriusXM-SXV300V1-Tuner.html?tp=87) as well as a separate Satellite Radio subscription through SiriusXM.

I got avh2700bs install and only been 6 months and it freezes and powers off and on. anybody know what I can do?
just recently had an avh-x2700bs do this to me 6+ months in as well. have to do a product exchange at my local frys (where i bought it). sounds like ur unit crapped out on u too. possibly refurbished? ionzephyr@gmail.com if u want more input
usb doesn't read when left in and car is turn off...once I start my car or says format read but never recognizes the drive

SNEED (SOLIEUTENANT) As long as the USB device you're using is Mass Storage Class (MSC) or USB Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) compliant and its storage doesn't exceed 32 GB, the head unit should recognize it immediately when your car powers on. If you've verified your USB device meets those specs and still have issues, you may want to contact Pioneer's support at 800-421-1404 for more information.

David Aroner In the A/V source menu, there should be an option labeled "Off" you can select on the touchscreen display.

I too have a samsung galaxy s6 edge... and this model pioneer radio. The phone is mirror link capable, but when I plug the phone in via usb... It just charges, and the radio and phone never actually seem to connect... I am using the factory usb cable that came with my phone... so i am very confused what the deal is...
I also read that there is an option for appone radio for android, but again no connection....
I did verify the specified cable from pioneer is nothing special ( when it comes to my phone ) that is directly from pioneer... so my factory cable should work fine.
Is this one better than the avh-270bt

For playback of the video do not go slow or freeze at low bit rate
I play videos off my flash drive but I use divx and it's still not working
David Silvera The Pioneer AVH-X2700BS supports the playback of DivX files (720-576 max resolution; 4GB max file size) on a USB MSC thumb drive. DivX files aren't recognized by that unit if you're using a USB MTP device, so make sure the thumb drive you have is MSC.
If you are using a compatible thumb drive and it's still not working, you may want to contact Pioneer's support for more help at 800-421-1404

How do you delete ppl that are connected to your Bluetooth because is saying memory is full
On the manual on page 12, I found:
1 Display the “Bluetooth” screen.
Displaying the “Bluetooth” screen on page 12
2 Touch "Connection".
3 Touch (an icon that looks like a trash can)

What wire harness did you use to mirrolink your phone or Pandora
I meant to say "0ff and On". without the remote.
I wish mirror link worked as simple as crutchfield made it look on here. If you are in the know then you know it ain't that easy unless you got the pioneer app radio.
I spent the last two hours trying to do the mirrorlink and the appradio. Both aggregated me like no other... so its a huge failure. I'm def lost. In short if you figured it out may you please share your knowledge.
Well mirrolink is a lost cause but app radio can work as long as you update the software on your pioneer unit. Just go to pioneerelectronics.com and find the download instructions under which head unit you have.

Hmm, not sure what the issue is. After I installed the update on my head unit I installed app radio and app radio live on my galaxy s5 and changed the smartphone settings on my pioneer unit to Appradio before I hooked the phone to the usb and after that everything was good to go.
When.it comes to appradio, my issue is it will be on, i can see the weather, gos, etc... when i play music though..... nothing

+elliottluv You can start by trying a factory reset of the stereo. Be sure to disconnect any external devices connected to the stereo's USB port. Then, with the ignition off, use a pen tip or pointed implement to press the small reset button in the top left hand corner of the face (inset button to the left of the "eject" button). Keep in mind; this returns the unit to the factory default settings so you will lose your preset radio stations and audio adjustments.Hope that helps!--Crutchfield
