i have been having issues with my firebomb not popping XD, he changes his mind halfway through and doesnt throw it down, its gotten me killed 3 out of 3 times it didnt happen.
Them ‘fixing’ the spider bot was it for me. That thing was so fucking annoying and now you can’t even shoot it off. The spider bot and the phantom shield can fuck right off lol.
i noticed and i didnt even read the patch notes, i emptied a whole mag into my feet hip fired, and not a thing. They also made the camo grind much worse, they could have kept the copper, silver, gold at their normal level of 50-100, and then with the three new ones could be every hundred levels.
You can at least emp the shield. To my knowledge there’s no real counter to the spider bot making it the most obnoxious equipment in the game right now
@@bc454irocz89 my issue with the shield is how fast it deploys. I hate getting in a gun fight and the guy just pops his shield right when hes about to die. It’s a cheap way to compensate for poor aim. If it deployed slower i wouldn’t mind it at all.
I have exactly the same thing man, ever since the update came out. And before that it was never a problem, for me going to the graphic settings and lowering the your hz to 120, my monitor is 150hz but changing it to 120 fixed it for now, hopefully I can change it back soon
I don’t know if it’s just me but the connection has been shit, game will stutter randomly like a picture show. Hopefully they get that fixed quickly, the season is decent so far overall
I find there are games where I’m amazing and my shots are hitting, then I have games where my bullets go through people, or I die before I can get a shot off even though me and the opponent saw eachother at the same time

This game has crashed on my Xbox series X so many times I’ve lost count. Another issue I’ve had after being killed, when I spawn back in I can only move about and slowly run…nothing else. I then have to shut the game down to get back to normal. Are they gonna sort out the Terminator sniper? Bunny hoping? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Still getting shot around corners and it still takes me a full clip to kill somebody when I’m continually getting one shot killed. People trying to say there is nothing wrong with this game are clearly delusional.

I think spamming spiderbots and not engaging unless someone is in a bot is a terrible idea. It’s worse than cods flashbang every time they see an enemy people.

I did feel bad for the players that I spammed with because I wanted to unlock the deadsec skins, but other then that I don't use him UNLESS I want to hack enemy abilities... (Also can't you hack the spider bot? If not that would be a great counter)
I'm getting bugs where I sit there spamming my ability and it doesnt activate and also the grenade glitch where it cancels my grenade mid throw but still takes it from my inventory is super annoying
same thing, and im not so sure if its a bug or directly just the animation cancelling system that is broken, sometimes you cant throw anything mid air and sometimes you do, etc.
The grenade "bug" may be an ability of the new faction, GSK, which destroys enemy grenages in its area of effect. Or are your grenades disappearing when you're cooking them?
Same. They also listen to the community and change things as fast as they can. Things take time. They are adding a button mash or some type of way to get spider bot off you. And everyone’s complaints about prestige, challenges, content, are all being worked on. They’ve done a great job. Something cod fans only wish they could get from their dev team

The Spiderbot cooldown is NOT NERFED. Its still 25 seconds and not 40 seconds like the patch notes claim it is. Please somebody, tell this to the devs. HOW COME DOES NOONE NOTICE THIS SHIT

Tbh, the spiderbot is essentially a crutch ability, after this buff it makes it a guaranteed kill every 60secs. That's CoD levels of protecting a player, but being even more honest? It doesn't bother me as much, although, I think the EMP should switch from being a grenade to an AOE ability or something close to it, so when you throw it down (even in a zone) the spiderbot is ineffective. You can even give it a long cooldown like the spiderbot to balance it. Imo, there should be counters to every ability. I wish the other abilities would get a boost too. As a healer I shouldn't have to wait 40 secs to heal again after a gun fight when engagements are so quick. If I run into a cleaner and get shot, my ability is locked until the fire goes away which puts me at a HUGE disadvantage. I would hope at least winning said gunfight would shorten my timer and I'm a happy clam, I get farmed a lot, but as long as inconsistent gunfights get fixed at some point, I'm mostly good 😊 I enjoy the game.
Needing a healer is a crutch too, I could argue all the abilities are crutches. Simple answer is if it needs to change to make someone like it, there are other games. I admit I'm not that good at the game, but I enjoy it as is. I'm not here to be the best at it, I play too relax after a long stressful day at work.
That’s why hero shooters doesn’t get a lot of attention the core mechanics is good movement is really fun and flows well with the style of gameplay but gosh these abilities are absolutely wack spider bot, libertad ultimate and phantoms mag shield plus its boom blaster bubble it’s so annoying they did the cleaners good, echelon good and GSK is good aswell but libertads, phantoms and dedsec are just obnoxious to deal with their abilities are flow disruption literally
I mean every point you made is a great reason to not play. I hopped on the game day one. Gunplay feels great. But who ever balanced the abilities is very bad at shooters/hero shooters. It is so tiring to deal with these abilities. Loosing gunfights because fire passive, or full stack radar. Even the camo change, sure they listened to player feed back, but listen, it never should have been changed. There are a host of things beyond those I listed. The gunplay is fun, that's it. I enjoyed this game in the begining, but quickly found it to be a slog and tiring. I played Overwatch day one. For all its issues that needed to be patched, the game all round felt good and fun. This? Just doesn't like there was no thought about proper balance. At least in overwatch there was wild stuff you could do to counter other players. Not in this game. This game plays like it wasn't supposed to be a hero shooter at its core, but Uni wanted something similar to R6, so this is what we got. Sad really. But oh well, no CoD, no XD. Really wish we could get a good a SHOOTER, but I guess not. Lol

I wished the shield (not the mag barrier) the riot shield,I wish it had better tracking because sometimes I'll get an insane feed or I'll hit one person,and the next 2 or 3 hits don't track even if I'm literally within the small lunge range. The mag barrier being nerfed was a W But rip if you try to use the riot shield (small maps make it easier but still, the detection is abit off)
They gotta straight up remove the Spiderbot full stop, maybe replace it with a selectable passive that lets you spot all active gadgets and active Intel Suits. Think Engineer perk with an added counter to an ability that currently has none.
the spider bot was annoying but not horrible, it was just a few second stun and would cause you to ping on the map when you shot it, but not being able to destroy it now is pure pain but i know who imma main now lmao
i didn't notice drops lag or hit detection getting worse in this update unlike many people said. Bu the spider bot is a death sentence when it hugs you and the counter isn't unavailable...
I’ve been plying the new season since yesterday I will say there are some bugs I noticed: 1. Spider bot can be shot if you shoot at the ground. (Confirmed from Mark that it was intended to be like this) 2. Occasionally throwing grenades will just disappear 3. You can’t camo when crouched as echelon 4. Some friends are saying PS has frame issues. Regardless of that I’ve still enjoying the game and camo grinding. New map is a nice change of pace and the foundation of the game is still there. I see in the Reddit that people are saying, “game is dead” but I think this game will still keep going and unlike COD the devs actually take accountability and communicate.
1. seasonpass is pretty weak for 90 days. 4 weapon skins to mention and only 1 legy WP skin overall...preseason had more for the time it ran 2. The casual grind is pretty lame, it's all about leveling, there are no quests to get a skin/animation/player card so there's no reason to level up weapons you don't like or anything to do anything other than normal gaming 3.Many bugs/server issues/netcode issues are worse than previous season. They delayed the game by a year and it's still a very big problem that will unfortunately break the game's neck over time 4. Overall the skins in this game are not that good. Green skins look like the 3 cent skins from CSGO 99% of the time, but the bad ones...like games like TheFinals, the little shit game still has so much better skins! !! Nowadays it's so ez with AI and everything you need to make good skins. Give blue and green skins some kind of artwork, and the season pass and skins as a whole could be good and usable and not just garbage (Monstrosity is a good example of how green skins should all be). 5. Meta changes are a meme. ATM weapons haven't been touched other than the sniper flinch, and the other ability changes don't look particularly promising either 6. Finish on a good note, so I'd say ranked play is looking good so far

with the roomba of zappy death that i loved to call it. there were multiple ways to counter it that you simply dont have in XD. in bo4 you could Run cold blooded to be completely invisible to it shoot it before it engages tac mask reduces the stun time and allows better ability to move your aim around as well as ADS if i remember right. Press the prompt as it engages to catch the prob before it connects steal it and make it yours(char specific) in XD you got Shoot it before it catches you ~~used to be able to look down and hip fire to destroy it~~ hope a teamate is nearby and shoots it off you(if their nice enough)
Let's b real, most teammates will watch it on your face and wait for the dedsec enemy to come around focused on you and they will go for the free kill instead of helping u... It reminds me of war zone when a teammate will see you down next to an enemy that you down they will wait on the enemy to self revive so that they can get a free kill before they revive you... How many times have you died without abilities going on and there were teammates nearby right next to an enemy and they weren't even shooting their gun
PS5 has some bad frame rate issues, as soon as as I see an enemy and I start shooting or they shoot at me, the frame rate becomes very choppy and slows down. I’ve seen others say that aim assist bugged as well but I myself haven’t noticed

Bad fps drops on ps5 I hope it gets fixed fast it’s pretty annoying update seems nice but it’s like I’m playing underwater right now so it’s hard to enjoy it
Yeah the connection has been frustrating , really messing up the smooth gameplay . It helps the players that aren't moving as the ping /hit reg is all over !
They can't get a kill without jumping. It's pathetic. I stopped playing because of that and the spider bots and now of course the riot shields. They broke a fun game.

Thank you for talking about this! I just went on a rant on this in xclusive ace's comment section. Even as someone that uses the spiderbot regular - I feel it has been buffed too much. I don't mind the extra delay so much - I think that is fair enough. But there should be a way to get it off. Even if the guy your spider jumps look down and shoot it off, you still have the upper hand in that engagement. There is no reason for me to have the time to look around and see he has no friends, take out my pistol, and carefully aim for the head for an easy kill. And that is what I am free to do now when they can't do shit about it! If the looking down and shooting is "a bug", then add some button mash you have to do do pull it off your face. Then its part of the game.
HOT TAKE but the jumpshotting needs to be heavily nerfed so badly. Turn a corner into 3 people and they all jump and shoot. Every other gunfight someone is jumping around and shooting. Guy is sitting in a corner... starts jumping and shooting. Teammate scans their team and 5 people highlighted in red are ALL JUMPING. "OldCheese8926" is level 5 and has played 3 games total... and GUESS WHAT hes jumpshotting every time he shoots. Its a stupid cheap gimmick crutch that doesnt need to be in the mf game.
The thing with the random shooting after you spawn was happening to me even before the update, I think the update just made the problem now more widespread!
The game is cool I had fun playing it . I had , honeymoon is over and they should address the issues they didn't addressed Lobby disband , we were promised they won't disband echelon need substantial nerf like activating it ONLY To players who activate it . Footsteps are out of scale I think they buff them even further? and on the other side of footsteps the one I hear my character make cause a fatigue on a session longer than hour in headphones , and the game require headphones due to footsteps out of scale if I don't use headphones I'm getting fucked. All of that make me end with conclusion I'm getting a break from this game a lot of issues that are open goals wasn't touched it's just bad .
audio seems to register footsteps only horizontally, so if someone is on the upper floor of the new map you feel them basically next to u. flash grenades are now MORE desorienting imo. you literally get flashed after death and cant see your loadouts for a while. the animation team or something feels amateur, sometimes you get cancelled your grenades by just moving, sometimes your ability comes out after you died. climbing a ladder feels worse than idk any cod from the ps2, and i feel the decent mobility the game has was likely a mistake. nerfs are the laziest shit ever. just add a few seconds to the most used skills wont make people use it less, thats fucking stupid.
@@pasticle yeah I have noticed it I hear the footsteps behind me but noone there it's above me . They need to make it distinct from those on our level . And they need to lower the volume of footsteps significantly
Hey BT I appreciate the brief stream interaction. I haven’t watched yet but yeah the spider bot is a problem for sure now. I also feel like dying way behind walls and inconsistency in gunfights was night and day after the update, in a bad way. Hopefully they smooth this out because I don’t want to lose gunfights and have no idea why I lost them.
They have to buff the M4 MDR and LVOA man, 17 damage versus phantoms is just awful to fight, 8 shots to kill versus 6 on normal players, I literally just switch off to something else soon as there’s more than 1-2 phantoms on the enemy team, please god please blametruth talk to a dev about this too.

Along with a couple of other bugs I've noticed, - Spider Bot kills and shock assists challenge doesn't seem to be properly tracking. I played a match of Escort where I know I got more than 5 shock assists with Spider Bot kills in the mix and out of all of those it only counted 3 of them for my progression. - Personal Stats are just frozen and not tracking at all. - not sure if this is a bug or just my luck lol but, I loaded into A LOT more matches that have already started. I only say this because out of the 10 matches I played yesterday, 8 of them I joined in late and its normally not that consistent. - This one is probably just a complaint here but, the ADS Sniper Flinch "fix" still isn't noticeable lol And yeah as for the framerate problem, its pretty bad. It reminds me of the framerate issues we had on COD Ghosts when it was brought to the PS4. The only difference is that here on XD, its much more frequent
Unfortunately, this game isnt gonna last too much longer. Their trying to please everybody which is with good intention, but catering to all these cry babies on reddit is literally ruining the game which really is sad.
I feel like this was the problem with the whole community getting up in arms about the relatively non-issues of weapon levelling. It forced the team into a rushed update instead of focusing on season 1 and gameplay issues
They made a change originally that wasn’t needed. Then they fixed it. Any resources that they used for weapons levelling is entirely their fault. The resources they did use for the levelling patch should not have affected anything else. This is Ubisoft, not an indie developer

Seriously though, wtf did mag barrier do? It’s probably the most balanced ability in the game right now. It’s useful but easily countered, especially with teamwork. Not only are phantoms getting ignored in the cosmetic department but they’re getting an unwarranted nerf too? Someone at Ubisoft really hates them smh.
I personally believed spiderbot was fine before the “nerf” when I discovered for myself that I can shoot at my feet to get it off, I tolerated the skill.
I love XD, but the hit detection problem seems to have gotten worse. I had to get off yesterday because i was using an Echelon Ultra and I'm shooting an enemy POINT BLANK. No registration whatsover. And Biovida was locked for me on Libertad for an entire match. Jeez guys. Im on PS5 btw.
I don’t think I like Xdefiant. I love TDM but in this game it’s fucking rough. I play solo and every team I get is FUCKING LOSING and it’s not even close. Ontop of that I’m so sick and tired of all the bunny hopping bullshit. I lose so many gunfights I don’t feel like I should be losing. I want so badly to have fun with this game but I can’t because I consistently keep getting the worst team mates possible
This is normal to Xdefiant, the day the update comes out it's fucked. Spend a few days w the fam for the holiday and by the time ur back the game gonna be fixed
you seems so bitter over cod that you legitimately convinced yourself this game isn't bad and isn't going to be even more dead than it is currently terrible hit reg, oppressive aim assist, horrible spawns, bad class balancing, and even worst weapon balancing. These issues are only magnified when players discover what's actually broken and min/max everything.

@@ronskeez916Naw bro. Here is an example why. With an automatic weapon, you can move and jump while shooting. This means multi kills while strafing. You can’t multi kill and strafe with a sniper. You could see 3 people and have 5 seconds to make each shot count against jumping fast moving smgs and hard hitting legs meanwhile if those 3 people see you, you get 5 seconds to take on 100 bullets 😂
Latency is worse than ever. My ping sit around 35, anyone lower then that really has a MASSIVE advantage. I’ve gotta break people screens to get the kill. The ttk is also affected because the bullet reg is screwed by bad latency

This game is hit or miss. One match the hit reg is perfect, then the very next match people are getting hit by my high velocity pillows full of air. The wall hacks are stupid,’the spider bot is stupid, the bullets around corners are insanely stupid.
I gave up on this game, I have great internet connection but still it seems like my opponents have 1-2 seconds advance on me often, the time it takes me to win the gun fight unloading a full charger vs them needing 2 bullets is a sign they might have shot me a lot more but I just don’t see it. I’m still getting hit as well plenty when I’m hiding behind a wall.

I'm not going to lie Xdefiant is completely unplayable on my pc, it crashes every time i open the game and it freezes too. I exclusively have to play it on my ps5 until the crashing issues get fixed

Ranked is currently its unplayable. I join my first match and my teammate leaves within the first 10 seconds. I think it's whatever and I play the rest of the game out. We lose of course (480-830) but thankfully the mercy rule was invoked so we didn't have to suffer the rest of the 200 points. My next game was on liberty where once again my teammate left within the first couple seconds of the game. This time however we got lucky with someone on the other team left which made it a fair game. We won that game and I got RP. My third and final game of playing ranked until a fix comes out or I play 4 stack happened where I was loading into a game and There were only 7 players during the voting process. No big deal right? Just wait until someone else joins and start the match. No they proceeded to start the game with only 7 players and once again my teammates and I had to sit there down a player on Meltdown Escort. Once again we lose. This time to make it worse they gave me a loss and deducted 14RP. It’s bullsh*t that I have to get punished for the game wanting to fck me.
i uninstalled Cod because that game has become so unplayable due to sweats and manipulation of the game. this brings back the old school cod vibes run and gun aspect. i have to appreciate the company being transparent and actually listening to the games community.
Yeah even though I never use the watchdog faction, the spiderbot is the strongest thing about it. Hijack I see is mainly used on barriers which you can take down easily with emps. Their ult is the weakest.
Regarding the spider bots, they need to either A) make it so that you can intentionally destroy it (like a QTE with melee), or B) change it entirely so that it doesn't render you completely helpless. They could change it so that it explodes and you get a 'shocked' status effect for 5 or so seconds where movement speed is at 50% and maybe fire rate is at 75%. IMO there should never be an ability in a mulitplayer FPS that effects your ability to defend. 'Free kill' mechanics are just not it...
Spiderbot Tips & Tricks! Ghillie Suit camo makes you immune to it. Playing as Dedsec Hacker ability helps a lot. Also, turn your audio up. Spiderbot is super loud, and you can hear it coming. Emp grenades with Dedsec faction you can get back every 15 seconds or so. Yes, Spiderbots are annoying, lol.
I don’t get bothered by the spider drone. Idk. Maybe it’s because that’s an ability on cooldown. Meanwhile, we have non stop grenades and flash bangs… so to me I can accept the spider drone. It’s all trade offs folks, with abilities and passives.
I had 6 crashes on pc in 2 hours of play yesterday so I just stopped playing and I saw on their official discord server that a lot of people also had crashes on console and pc but some devs said that they are working on it to fix it but I hope they'll do it as fast as possible.

You can at least emp the shield. To my knowledge there’s no real counter to the spider bot making it the most obnoxious equipment in the game right now
@@bc454irocz89 my issue with the shield is how fast it deploys. I hate getting in a gun fight and the guy just pops his shield right when hes about to die. It’s a cheap way to compensate for poor aim. If it deployed slower i wouldn’t mind it at all.
The BO4 Prophet robot thing had a quick time event to counter it too, they should add that

I have exactly the same thing man, ever since the update came out. And before that it was never a problem, for me going to the graphic settings and lowering the your hz to 120, my monitor is 150hz but changing it to 120 fixed it for now, hopefully I can change it back soon

I'm getting bugs where I sit there spamming my ability and it doesnt activate and also the grenade glitch where it cancels my grenade mid throw but still takes it from my inventory is super annoying
same thing, and im not so sure if its a bug or directly just the animation cancelling system that is broken, sometimes you cant throw anything mid air and sometimes you do, etc.
The grenade "bug" may be an ability of the new faction, GSK, which destroys enemy grenages in its area of effect. Or are your grenades disappearing when you're cooking them?

The Spiderbot cooldown is NOT NERFED. Its still 25 seconds and not 40 seconds like the patch notes claim it is. Please somebody, tell this to the devs. HOW COME DOES NOONE NOTICE THIS SHIT

Tbh, the spiderbot is essentially a crutch ability, after this buff it makes it a guaranteed kill every 60secs. That's CoD levels of protecting a player, but being even more honest? It doesn't bother me as much, although, I think the EMP should switch from being a grenade to an AOE ability or something close to it, so when you throw it down (even in a zone) the spiderbot is ineffective. You can even give it a long cooldown like the spiderbot to balance it. Imo, there should be counters to every ability.
I wish the other abilities would get a boost too. As a healer I shouldn't have to wait 40 secs to heal again after a gun fight when engagements are so quick.
If I run into a cleaner and get shot, my ability is locked until the fire goes away which puts me at a HUGE disadvantage. I would hope at least winning said gunfight would shorten my timer and I'm a happy clam, I get farmed a lot, but as long as inconsistent gunfights get fixed at some point, I'm mostly good 😊

Needing a healer is a crutch too, I could argue all the abilities are crutches. Simple answer is if it needs to change to make someone like it, there are other games. I admit I'm not that good at the game, but I enjoy it as is. I'm not here to be the best at it, I play too relax after a long stressful day at work.

That’s why hero shooters doesn’t get a lot of attention the core mechanics is good movement is really fun and flows well with the style of gameplay but gosh these abilities are absolutely wack spider bot, libertad ultimate and phantoms mag shield plus its boom blaster bubble it’s so annoying they did the cleaners good, echelon good and GSK is good aswell but libertads, phantoms and dedsec are just obnoxious to deal with their abilities are flow disruption literally
I mean every point you made is a great reason to not play. I hopped on the game day one. Gunplay feels great. But who ever balanced the abilities is very bad at shooters/hero shooters. It is so tiring to deal with these abilities. Loosing gunfights because fire passive, or full stack radar. Even the camo change, sure they listened to player feed back, but listen, it never should have been changed. There are a host of things beyond those I listed. The gunplay is fun, that's it. I enjoyed this game in the begining, but quickly found it to be a slog and tiring. I played Overwatch day one. For all its issues that needed to be patched, the game all round felt good and fun. This? Just doesn't like there was no thought about proper balance. At least in overwatch there was wild stuff you could do to counter other players. Not in this game. This game plays like it wasn't supposed to be a hero shooter at its core, but Uni wanted something similar to R6, so this is what we got. Sad really. But oh well, no CoD, no XD. Really wish we could get a good a SHOOTER, but I guess not. Lol

it should have those 20 plus hp, but take longer to heal probably, that way you nerf them and buff libertad for ranked
They gotta straight up remove the Spiderbot full stop, maybe replace it with a selectable passive that lets you spot all active gadgets and active Intel Suits. Think Engineer perk with an added counter to an ability that currently has none.
the spider bot was annoying but not horrible, it was just a few second stun and would cause you to ping on the map when you shot it, but not being able to destroy it now is pure pain but i know who imma main now lmao

i didn't notice drops lag or hit detection getting worse in this update unlike many people said. Bu the spider bot is a death sentence when it hugs you and the counter isn't unavailable...
I’ve been plying the new season since yesterday I will say there are some bugs I noticed:
1. Spider bot can be shot if you shoot at the ground. (Confirmed from Mark that it was intended to be like this)
2. Occasionally throwing grenades will just disappear
3. You can’t camo when crouched as echelon
4. Some friends are saying PS has frame issues.
Regardless of that I’ve still enjoying the game and camo grinding. New map is a nice change of pace and the foundation of the game is still there. I see in the Reddit that people are saying, “game is dead” but I think this game will still keep going and unlike COD the devs actually take accountability and communicate.
1. seasonpass is pretty weak for 90 days. 4 weapon skins to mention and only 1 legy WP skin overall...preseason had more for the time it ran
2. The casual grind is pretty lame, it's all about leveling, there are no quests to get a skin/animation/player card so there's no reason to level up weapons you don't like or anything to do anything other than normal gaming
3.Many bugs/server issues/netcode issues are worse than previous season. They delayed the game by a year and it's still a very big problem that will unfortunately break the game's neck over time
4. Overall the skins in this game are not that good. Green skins look like the 3 cent skins from CSGO 99% of the time, but the bad ones...like games like TheFinals, the little shit game still has so much better skins! !! Nowadays it's so ez with AI and everything you need to make good skins. Give blue and green skins some kind of artwork, and the season pass and skins as a whole could be good and usable and not just garbage (Monstrosity is a good example of how green skins should all be).
5. Meta changes are a meme. ATM weapons haven't been touched other than the sniper flinch, and the other ability changes don't look particularly promising either
6. Finish on a good note, so I'd say ranked play is looking good so far

with the roomba of zappy death that i loved to call it. there were multiple ways to counter it that you simply dont have in XD.
in bo4 you could
Run cold blooded to be completely invisible to it
shoot it before it engages
tac mask reduces the stun time and allows better ability to move your aim around as well as ADS if i remember right.
Press the prompt as it engages to catch the prob before it connects
steal it and make it yours(char specific)
in XD you got
Shoot it before it catches you

Let's b real, most teammates will watch it on your face and wait for the dedsec enemy to come around focused on you and they will go for the free kill instead of helping u... It reminds me of war zone when a teammate will see you down next to an enemy that you down they will wait on the enemy to self revive so that they can get a free kill before they revive you... How many times have you died without abilities going on and there were teammates nearby right next to an enemy and they weren't even shooting their gun

PS5 has some bad frame rate issues, as soon as as I see an enemy and I start shooting or they shoot at me, the frame rate becomes very choppy and slows down. I’ve seen others say that aim assist bugged as well but I myself haven’t noticed
I thought my PS5 might have been busted or overheating at first, stufferfest on focus when targeting and lag spikes, it’s them for sure.

Even as someone that uses the spiderbot regular - I feel it has been buffed too much. I don't mind the extra delay so much - I think that is fair enough. But there should be a way to get it off.
Even if the guy your spider jumps look down and shoot it off, you still have the upper hand in that engagement. There is no reason for me to have the time to look around and see he has no friends, take out my pistol, and carefully aim for the head for an easy kill. And that is what I am free to do now when they can't do shit about it!
If the looking down and shooting is "a bug", then add some button mash you have to do do pull it off your face. Then its part of the game.
HOT TAKE but the jumpshotting needs to be heavily nerfed so badly. Turn a corner into 3 people and they all jump and shoot. Every other gunfight someone is jumping around and shooting. Guy is sitting in a corner... starts jumping and shooting. Teammate scans their team and 5 people highlighted in red are ALL JUMPING. "OldCheese8926" is level 5 and has played 3 games total... and GUESS WHAT hes jumpshotting every time he shoots. Its a stupid cheap gimmick crutch that doesnt need to be in the mf game.
The thing with the random shooting after you spawn was happening to me even before the update, I think the update just made the problem now more widespread!

Lobby disband , we were promised they won't disband echelon need substantial nerf like activating it ONLY To players who activate it . Footsteps are out of scale I think they buff them even further? and on the other side of footsteps the one I hear my character make cause a fatigue on a session longer than hour in headphones , and the game require headphones due to footsteps out of scale if I don't use headphones I'm getting fucked. All of that make me end with conclusion I'm getting a break from this game a lot of issues that are open goals wasn't touched it's just bad .
audio seems to register footsteps only horizontally, so if someone is on the upper floor of the new map you feel them basically next to u. flash grenades are now MORE desorienting imo. you literally get flashed after death and cant see your loadouts for a while.
the animation team or something feels amateur, sometimes you get cancelled your grenades by just moving, sometimes your ability comes out after you died. climbing a ladder feels worse than idk any cod from the ps2, and i feel the decent mobility the game has was likely a mistake.
nerfs are the laziest shit ever. just add a few seconds to the most used skills wont make people use it less, thats fucking stupid.

Hey BT I appreciate the brief stream interaction. I haven’t watched yet but yeah the spider bot is a problem for sure now. I also feel like dying way behind walls and inconsistency in gunfights was night and day after the update, in a bad way. Hopefully they smooth this out because I don’t want to lose gunfights and have no idea why I lost them.

They have to buff the M4 MDR and LVOA man, 17 damage versus phantoms is just awful to fight, 8 shots to kill versus 6 on normal players, I literally just switch off to something else soon as there’s more than 1-2 phantoms on the enemy team, please god please blametruth talk to a dev about this too.

Along with a couple of other bugs I've noticed,
- Spider Bot kills and shock assists challenge doesn't seem to be properly tracking. I played a match of Escort where I know I got more than 5 shock assists with Spider Bot kills in the mix and out of all of those it only counted 3 of them for my progression.
- Personal Stats are just frozen and not tracking at all.
- not sure if this is a bug or just my luck lol but, I loaded into A LOT more matches that have already started. I only say this because out of the 10 matches I played yesterday, 8 of them I joined in late and its normally not that consistent.
- This one is probably just a complaint here but, the ADS Sniper Flinch "fix" still isn't noticeable lol
And yeah as for the framerate problem, its pretty bad. It reminds me of the framerate issues we had on COD Ghosts when it was brought to the PS4. The only difference is that here on XD, its much more frequent

I feel like this was the problem with the whole community getting up in arms about the relatively non-issues of weapon levelling. It forced the team into a rushed update instead of focusing on season 1 and gameplay issues
They made a change originally that wasn’t needed. Then they fixed it. Any resources that they used for weapons levelling is entirely their fault. The resources they did use for the levelling patch should not have affected anything else. This is Ubisoft, not an indie developer

I personally believed spiderbot was fine before the “nerf” when I discovered for myself that I can shoot at my feet to get it off, I tolerated the skill.
I have not tried it after the patch.

I love XD, but the hit detection problem seems to have gotten worse. I had to get off yesterday because i was using an Echelon Ultra and I'm shooting an enemy POINT BLANK. No registration whatsover. And Biovida was locked for me on Libertad for an entire match. Jeez guys. Im on PS5 btw.

terrible hit reg, oppressive aim assist, horrible spawns, bad class balancing, and even worst weapon balancing.
These issues are only magnified when players discover what's actually broken and min/max everything.
Love the honesty, I don’t like the spider bot, can’t even shoot it off. I don’t like you have to buy everything right off the bat or get 700,000 score to get the new faction

Lmao in what way? Because you can 1 shot kill with a .50 caliber???? Sounds like a skill issue. You think snipers are an issue, try using a dmr like Blametruth in this video. They're 2 shot kill semi autos... Legitimately broken overpowered weapon

@@ronskeez916Naw bro. Here is an example why. With an automatic weapon, you can move and jump while shooting. This means multi kills while strafing. You can’t multi kill and strafe with a sniper. You could see 3 people and have 5 seconds to make each shot count against jumping fast moving smgs and hard hitting legs meanwhile if those 3 people see you, you get 5 seconds to take on 100 bullets 😂

Latency is worse than ever. My ping sit around 35, anyone lower then that really has a MASSIVE advantage. I’ve gotta break people screens to get the kill. The ttk is also affected because the bullet reg is screwed by bad latency

This game is hit or miss. One match the hit reg is perfect, then the very next match people are getting hit by my high velocity pillows full of air. The wall hacks are stupid,’the spider bot is stupid, the bullets around corners are insanely stupid.
I gave up on this game, I have great internet connection but still it seems like my opponents have 1-2 seconds advance on me often, the time it takes me to win the gun fight unloading a full charger vs them needing 2 bullets is a sign they might have shot me a lot more but I just don’t see it. I’m still getting hit as well plenty when I’m hiding behind a wall.

I'm not going to lie Xdefiant is completely unplayable on my pc, it crashes every time i open the game and it freezes too. I exclusively have to play it on my ps5 until the crashing issues get fixed

Crazy how everyone are saying the update is amazing while not talking about the issues. This is how COD came to be, people ignore the issues and the devs realize they can get away with it so they continue to do it and the game gets worst. This is why i respect your opinion cause your TRUTHFUL about it thus the name. Keep making great content.

Ranked is currently its unplayable. I join my first match and my teammate leaves within the first 10 seconds. I think it's whatever and I play the rest of the game out. We lose of course (480-830) but thankfully the mercy rule was invoked so we didn't have to suffer the rest of the 200 points.
My next game was on liberty where once again my teammate left within the first couple seconds of the game. This time however we got lucky with someone on the other team left which made it a fair game. We won that game and I got RP.
My third and final game of playing ranked until a fix comes out or I play 4 stack happened where I was loading into a game and There were only 7 players during the voting process. No big deal right? Just wait until someone else joins and start the match. No they proceeded to start the game with only 7 players and once again my teammates and I had to sit there down a player on Meltdown Escort. Once again we lose. This time to make it worse they gave me a loss and deducted 14RP. It’s bullsh*t that I have to get punished for the game wanting to fck me.
My biggest issue was the frame rate (ps5) and my ping not even showing (was consistently under 20) now just a dash
i uninstalled Cod because that game has become so unplayable due to sweats and manipulation of the game. this brings back the old school cod vibes run and gun aspect. i have to appreciate the company being transparent and actually listening to the games community.

Spider was nerfed significantly. Bums who have never used it and like to complain dont understand the rework.
Yeah even though I never use the watchdog faction, the spiderbot is the strongest thing about it. Hijack I see is mainly used on barriers which you can take down easily with emps. Their ult is the weakest.
there is also a bug when you use you're firebomb for example but it does not go off very annoying
Not only did they buff the spider bot, the game is unplayable on ps5. The framerate is so bad and crashes keep happening 😢
Regarding the spider bots, they need to either A) make it so that you can intentionally destroy it (like a QTE with melee), or B) change it entirely so that it doesn't render you completely helpless. They could change it so that it explodes and you get a 'shocked' status effect for 5 or so seconds where movement speed is at 50% and maybe fire rate is at 75%. IMO there should never be an ability in a mulitplayer FPS that effects your ability to defend. 'Free kill' mechanics are just not it...

Spiderbot Tips & Tricks! Ghillie Suit camo makes you immune to it. Playing as Dedsec Hacker ability helps a lot. Also, turn your audio up. Spiderbot is super loud, and you can hear it coming. Emp grenades with Dedsec faction you can get back every 15 seconds or so. Yes, Spiderbots are annoying, lol.

Australian lobbies are almost unplayable. Super unstable and lobbies are VERY sweaty. I love the game, but it's a bit of a nightmare in Australia.

Meanwhile, we have non stop grenades and flash bangs… so to me I can accept the spider drone. It’s all trade offs folks, with abilities and passives.

I had 6 crashes on pc in 2 hours of play yesterday so I just stopped playing and I saw on their official discord server that a lot of people also had crashes on console and pc but some devs said that they are working on it to fix it but I hope they'll do it as fast as possible.
