Hey Guys,
I saw many "how to walk in heels" videos that I would have loved to put my input on...so I just decided to make one of my own :) These are things that I did to learn how to walk in heels & things I currently do to relieve any discomfort while out in heels. Hope you guys love this video. If so, please give it a thumbs up & don't forget to share and subscribe!
Oh, the shoes in this video (with the exception of the wedge heels) were all from Just Fab. They were not gifted. I purchased these heels years ago and wear them faithfully which is why they are all scratched and scuffed :) Hopefully this helps you guys walk better in heels. Have a blessed one!

listen I cannot explain to you how thankful I am that you posted this video because as a fellow plus size curvy Queen I find it quite difficult to walk in heels successfully and that's mainly because I'm pigeon-toed and it's the absolute worse when trying to walk in heels with a banging outfit on but I'm leaning on the Everlasting on!😂 anyway long story short I definitely subscribed to your channel and I'm looking forward to more tips and topics from you💜💜

Thank you for posting this video i subscribed to watch more. I am a plus size woman and I wear heels every so often for modeling and when I started, I went straight for the tall, skinny heels. My posture was terrible and i was shakin' like a leaf in them. My muscles weren't trained properly for walking in heels (not to mention being bow legged and pigeon toed). I gravitate more towards wedges now but i'm starting to feel a whole lot more comfortable in skinny heels than i did. I'm walking with more confidence and can truly feel the difference. THANK YOU!!!
Girl you are preaching!. Training those muscles to walk in heels is the entire battle. It's always good to know if we fall off, our muscles can just be retrained.

The wider heel also equals less pressure as there is a greater surface area as opposed to a stiletto.

Love your video! My man wants me wearing 3 inch heels by this weekend! I’m doing house work in them like you said. Taking them off and putting them back on. It seems to help however, damn! My calf muscles be tensing up! Charlie wants to come out and play! 😩 🤣

Lots of good ideas. I just got shoes from "shoes of Prey" and was able to custom design pretty pseudo chanel toe cap sling backs. They came with stuff to help the shoes fit better but some things I don't know how to use
I did buy a terrific pair of cap toe flats also to keep in my bag until I get used to heels again

I am so glad that I saw this video. I have quite wide feet and itbis hard for me to get some of nice pair of sandals on heels, becaus my feet are most of time over the shoes. And now I see, that it is all about confidet and it is no resp why to be ashamed of that

hahaha Girl! OMG the struggle is so real. How has it been on your shoe game? It really restricts me to certain kinds of shoes ugh!!!
So am I! I used to only wear shoes with an ankle strap. I have good luck with adding those silicone inserts to the back of the shoe, and sometimes it's about placing a ball of the foot insert just right. Stiletto pumps are literally the worst though, but I keep trying haha!
Me too....I was like ohhhhhkaaay..its not just me with a big foot.....I usually wrap my foot befor wearing heels....and lessen the swelling......now...I be the one leaning on the everlasting lord....afterwhile I give up and put on flats....I need help

She forgot one very important thing - Buy good shoes - It is better to have one pair of $200 shoes than 10 pairs of cheap shoes - Expensive shoes are made better with more support - The are engineered differently are they are leather so they adjust to your foot - Plastic man-made material shoes have no give and make your feet sweat -You don't have to spend $200, but get the best shoes you can afford - Shop sales at high-end stores and you will be shocked at the deals you can get - Von Maur has amazing sales - You get what you pay for
You know that is a good point that I would not have known to share. Honestly I have never purchased shoes at that amount, so you're teaching me as well lol. Thank you for giving the suggestion of Von Maur sales. Are there any other high end brands that have great sales on shoes that you can suggest?
Now that is a lesson I learned in college as a party-girl;even though my mom tried to tell me and she is not plus-sized. Especially since I don't have an arch and I'm plus sized, quality is number one for me. I bought one pair of higher-end shoes and never turned back.

I loved this video! At this point are you used to heels? Like could you comfortably walk in them as if they were 2 inch heels
So glad you loved the video hun & yes I can walk in heels comfortably...& as long as they're not taller than 4.5 inches I can stay in them lol
It may sound dumb and it might have been said before but yoga to improve your balance can help with walking and remaining balanced on your toes. I used to struggle with keeping my balance and with my ankle strength it helped me :) xx

I find strappy heels alre the worst 4 me because I find I don't get as much ankle support I can only kinda walk in boots as my foot is fully in and cannot go anywhere... any advice on how to strengthen your ankles please?

The shoes in the video are between 2-3 years old, so they're no longer on the just fab site. But I did put some similar options in the description. Hope this helps!

For some reason I strapped on some skinny heels and walked just fine I guess I'm a natural.
So are heels just supposed to be painful, even if you walk in them correctly and are wearing the right size?
They can be depending on how long you can last in them

You should definitely buy the correct size. If you purchase a size too big...your feet will hurt from trying to stay in the shoe & slide forward. If you get them too small, your feet will hurt from added pressure & compression

I'm sure there is a way for you to walk in heels love. Have you tried shoe inserts?
Try stretching your legs and ankles. Point and flex. Just randomly through the day. When comfortable, practice walking in boots first, the square heels, then wedges then Stilettos. I'm plus size and had to start with baby steps. Hope this helps

@@FromHeadtoCurve Honestly, I have not really looked. I have a pair of wedges that I've only ever worn twice, and I just purchased some stripper type heels that I am never gonna wear. I sure wasted a good few coins on them. LoL! I think I'll just stick to flats. Hehe.
I’m 14 years and finally got my first pair of heels. They are 15 centimeters and chunky but Jesus it was harder than I thought to walk in them
15cm is very high. I bought a pair like that when I was 18. It's still my most challenging shoe to this day.

Some of my girl friends keep the pretty high heels under their desk, and then walk into work in flats.

Lol no, but I do have to go a size up which can sometimes be uncomfortable for the foot that doesn't swell.

Everyone has 1 foot a little bigger than the other. My right foot is a 10, my left is a tiny bit bigger than a 9.5.
Girl I thought it was a handful of us going through this. My right foot is entirely one shoe size larger than the left one.
But in the other video you said strappy heels are the worst when it comes to beginners and heavier women.

You can use stick deodorant on your feet to prevent slipping and rubbing .

I also use it between my thighs to prevent chafing. Deodorant works wonders lol

Lol it would look that way. But I used to wear stilettos all the time at a size 16 and lasted in them comfortably for a while. Grant it, that’s not the size I am now 🤣 but you get my drift.

Michelle, I'm sorry but just a few comments for your next tutorial. Learn the difference between a heel and a TOE insert. Take the time to put a dress on when demonstrating the pumps. Get some shoes that FIT where there isn't a half an inch between your heel and the heel of the shoe. And finally, get a manicure before doing your next video. Otherwise your tutorial was very helpful.
