I think this video may be ignoring the single most important factor to walking in heels...posture. I know it seems obvious, but many ladies aren't super aware of their posture. Making sure you lift your heart up and keep your core solid will improve your balance, make it easier to walk in heels and just plain look better.
THANK YOU! My ballet teacher used to make us train in heels sometimes for balance. Posture is very very important, I can't even slouch to save my life lol
I wore heels everyday for 15 years (I walked A LOT)and my feet are so damaged it is hard to just stand some days. I have structural damage and nerve damage. I came to this video to tell you, save them for special occasions. The ramifications aren't worth it. If you do have to wear them, low and chunky is the best way to go. You are beautiful when you are healthy and capable.
It is a slippery slope for sure, but I personally don't have any foot, knee or hip issues and I wore heels every day for easily 20 years. Don't get me wrong, my body has some wear and tear problems for other reasons, but not from heels. In fact, I have the green light to even EXERCISE in heels. Yes, I do it, and I do it with good posture, and I do it because I wear heels for dance. But I always listen to my body. I stop wearing my heels as soon as any discomfort happens - even if it's just from something rubbing. However, I try to stop wearing the heels BEFORE any discomfort happens, even if I go back to those heels later in the same day. After that, frequent foot care is important. Take breaks when wearing heels constantly (in the middle of it, not just at the end of the day) to let your toes expand and calves stretch out. Bring flats with you. Care for your feet at night. Definitely wear the correct shoe size and make sure you are keeping your foot and ankle muscles strong. Don't jump into tall heels, thin heels, or long sessions if your foot and ankle muscles aren't conditioned for it. I sometimes suck at making time for self-care, but it's important, and I always regret it when I skimp out on myself.
I like and use lower heeled high heels because they are easier to work with. Nothing wrong with not wanting to wear the 6 inch heels. But again I don't wear heels often and save them for special occasions.
It's in mine and I'm 48 years old and wore heels once in my life 30 years ago and never put myself through the agony again. I'm not going to start now.
They indeed are, a very common mistake. She also doesn't know how to walk in them properly.. I teach women how to walk in heels, she is a rank beginner.
A cautionary tale: I stayed "trendy" all throughout my 20s and it caused a bunion on my right foot by the age of 30. A bunion is where the big toe starts to point toward your other toes instead of being straight. Heels are the #1 culprit because they not only squeeze your toes together, but they also force the pressure of almost all of your body weight onto your toes while standing/walking in heels. The only way to repair the damage before it gets worse and starts crowding your other toes to the point of the others becoming "hammer toes," is to break the big toe's largest joint and have it reset straight. I wish I had known heels could do that, because personally I would not have worn something that would require surgery to fix just for the sake of fashion and being trendy!
Hi. I also am 30 and I had bunion surgery at a young age. Wore platforms for years and I also danced for years as well (in 8/9 inch pleasers) my feet have begun to ache and I do have a hammertoe and my surgery scar is not pretty. I also feel like I can't use my big toe the same anymore :(
I don't remember at what exact moment I got used to them but I used to absolutely hate heels. Well, actually I still do. I just know how to walk in them better.
Wow! 32 years old, still suck at walking in high heels, and this video was really helpful. I learned a few new tricks to try! You're not kidding about the grass - I generally remove my shoes and Boho-barefoot my way around until stable ground is beneath my feet again, LOL. Thank you for sharing this timeless insight, Kassandra! Cheers & Namaste & Mahaloha!
Bought my first official pair of heels today, ankle strap wedges, and this video gave me the courage I need to wear them to a close friend's wedding. Thank you so much! :)
Is it just me or do almost all of her heels look way too big on her... like there's a massive gap between her heel and the shoe. She works them nonetheless, though!
I think it just depends on the girl who is wearing them. I guess she feels more comfortable if she has a little extra room. Sometimes the back of the shoe is too hard and non-bendable it digs into the back of your heel and it bleeds. Then it forms a callous and it looks ugly. This is just from my past experience, but I've never worn heels that high xD
Yeah, definitely. Happens when you are in between sizes. A way to take care of that is putting inserts that prevent your feet from moving forward when in heels.
I'm 21 and I stil can't wear heels - which TOTALLY sucks, because it is the most beautiful thing ever. This tips are really great, but my problem is that it hurts either way ;/
Lu Michelini Dear My Friends, If you love shoes as much as I do, then it’s safe for me to assume that you have been attracted by Christian Louboutin Daffodile since they became a part of the fashion world. Every time I see this loving high-heeled shoe, I’m reminded of the feeling that I had as a child with my first date, my first kiss, or the first time I stepped into a room with a flying pair of heels. Yes, that’s what Daffodiles bring for me, they make my Heart Beat! www.christianlouboutinpromo.com
***** If I broke my ankle, I would never wear them either. I hate heels mostly, not because I have ever gotten hurt, But it never fails, if you put ion a pair of heels, the car breaks, or something hapens and you end up having to treck a mile in uncomfortable shoes, swearing up a storm, and wishing a pair of Converse was nearby. The last time I wore stiletto heels, i ended up having to walk around five LOOONG city blocks just to get where we were going, and by then I just wanted to sit. On the way back I took them off and got a sliver of glass in my foot. Fuck heels.
Marina Doshkevich Jesus Christ o.O I don't wear any other type of shoe but a sneaker or a flat boot. I agree. Fuck heels. Sorry bout the glass tho that probably hurt a whole lot.
She wears a size bigger so that her feet won't hurt so much celebrities do it all the time. Go.google it. You wish you could walk in heels like she does.
I watched this video for the first time probably 5 years ago by now. Thank you for teaching me how to walk up and down stairs. It has stayed with me all this time and probably will for the rest of my life.
I bringing sexy big no wonder I felt the way I did my looks and fashion was everything to me wow u are coming nails eyelashes ur favourite shoes make up classy girl welcome home I excited u gonna be hot shoe shopping 🛒 I no now.I am ready ❤love sisters I hope use happy that I have finally realised woohoo
I love this tutorial. I personally am a heels expert, but my sister is very clumsy and she always asks me how I manage. It came naturally for me, so I couldn't quite explain it, your tutorial was very clear. Thanks.
I've got to walk in thigh-high stilettos for my Mettaton cosplay and I can hardly keep my balance walking barefoot. Sooo nervous about this but I'll try this stuff out!
I remember watching this video 3 years ago, and now I am finally trying to practice walking in heels. Thank God that I did start to practice with the wedges first a few months ago because now my feet does not hurt anymore when I wear actual heels.
I don't even own a pair of flats. But then again here in NYC stilettos are a must. I remember years ago I stepped off a curb and broke my foot. I had crutches for awhile. I still wore one high heel and one orthopedic boot with my crutches. Now I see other ladies doing the same thing here in NYC, I started a trend! LOL
In New York City, where I live, they are a MUST. Ladies here live in them and just love the look. You don't see any fashionable woman here in anything but stilettos. They are a must because they are so feminine and they lengthen the look of the leg and make you walk so cute. For those reasons they are required footwear. For you people who live in the countryside or enjoy camping and the great outdoors, obviously you need to choose another option. Maybe a flat or a ballet slipper style. Here in the asphalt jungle, its stiletto pumps all the way, honey!
KiKi JahDore TheStylist yes I understand the fear but honestly the more you wear them the more it becomes second nature. I'm 81 years old and have been wearing heals my entire adult life. I can wear them just about anyplace now but then again I don't do any long walking. Take cabs just about everywhere. I was in Italy this summer with my Grandson and that was one of the few times I decided heals were not going to work. The cobblestone streets there are a beast! I stopped in at a shoe store and got a pair of flats. LOL Yes its hard when you fall and bust your A$$. When I fell a few years ago I just paired up my crutches with one stiletto! I was turning heads left and right. Now I see all the fashion queens on 5th ave. doing the same thing when they have crutches. It's too funny!
Yah, why do so many women (not all but some) wear heels that are bigger than thier feet? Not to mention is doesn't look good when you have a gap half an inch between your heel and shoe. I always fear the foot slipping out of the shows and having the person end up falling and getting hurt.
@@velocirapter I think it's because you can't wear smaller pairs because they hurt a lot and the little gap is necessary to walk easily because your ankles move a lot when you walk and need space to move (ofc)
What is funny. Is that high heels used to be for men only. The more powerful and higher up you were in nobility. The taller your shoe heels were. Kings tended to wear red heels. This is why also, one shoe maker uses red heels in their shoes.
Louboutin uses red soles inspired by prostitutes who would walk through the fish district(someone correct me if i'm wrong). The blood on the streets stained the sole of their shoes red.
RealHero x Actually no, lol. Back in 93 when he had been in business for about two years, he found a small bottle of red nail polish at the desk of his secretary. As a result he just colored the bottom of the sole with the red nail polish and it just popped and ended up being a brilliant idea. So I don't know where everyones getting the whole prostitute blood thing haha
Just started wearing high heels a week ago. Can someone tell me why does it hurt? I'm sure I'm doing what it says here, but why does it still hurt? Am I doing something wrong?
It's going to take you a little while to get used to new heels, which is why you have to break them in before you immediately start wearing them, at home wear socks while you have on your new heels, do this for a few hours. It'll help the heel conform to your feet, so when you do wear them going out, they wont give you trouble, or at least so much trouble.
its hurt, cuz ur feet bones aint fillin right, nobodies feets like highheels @ 1st week, im walkin on heels all my free time and it wont hurt, but maybe cuz i do it when im on home, as guys in high heels is forbidden to show society... fuckin ankward as we see history, guys was the ones who started high heels... you cant blame guys for high heels, cuz we made them for ourselfes 4centuries ago, but then woman stole idea and here we go, guys cant wear high heels, cuz woman stole idea, but i still in love with them
What hurts? If your toes or back of your ankles hurt, it's probably because your shoes are too tight. If it's your ankles that hurt, it's probably because you're putting too much stress on them. Your ankles should strengthen in time though. If it's your soles, balls of your feet or arch that hurts, it probably means you've been walking too much in those heels. Your endurance for wearing heels should increase in time, but your feet will still definitely be tired at some point. And of course, the higher and thinner the heel is, the more your ankles and feet will hurt.
No lol I've been a model sice 4th grade, and my heels STILL hurt when I wear tben. Just put toilet paper on the ball of your foot, its cheap and comfy. =]
This is perfect advice! As a woman who wears heels, stilettos rarely... THIS VIDEO should be a STAPLE for all the heel wearing women! Pre-grad parties, bachelorette parties, etc! I’ll be practicing in my garage, doors closed... husband will be laughing though (cameras)!
Well, basically, people might think that I'm walking this way because I want them to notice my "bottom". Now no offense to the girl. And thank you for your answers
grunchinette250 It's all about toning it down. You can walk one feet ahead of the other without swaying as much. It's as she said, just practice in front of a mirror and find out what you like. Just be confident with what you decide.
OH! I legit thought you were suppose to focus on walking in your toes. Damn! I'm stuck in a power chair most of the time so I usually only wear heels while sitting, but I have been walking more so I was thinking of trying to figure it out. Thank you! This was very helpful.
So bad for your feet. I work at a pedorthic facility and see the effects of lifelong high heal wearing. It's a painful future. Bunion surgery scars are ugly and even after surgery....they can come back. Super high heals are SO bad for you. I have to fit these poor women into a triple wide shoe that are hideous and forget sandals. People are going to wear what they want but just a heads up....moderation is important.
I have 15 years old and I am in love with high heels. I already tried to walk in them and I'm glad because my feet feel well in high heels and I can walk in them. Still I need practice but I am fine and my mom is helping me out. I'm happy.
I watch this again because despite the fact that I can walk in high heels. I love to watch every video about them. High heels are amazing and sweet. I love them so much❤
I love 3-4 inch heels. They're my life. :p But the problem is that I'm 5'6, and I would be 5'9/5'10 in heels...Ugh, I wish I was shorter so I wouldn't be so self-conscious wearing them. :/
Girlfriends: Yes, it's fun to wear the latest trends BUT it's probably best if you rarely wear shoes higher than an inch (no more than 2 times per week) & reserve high heels/spikes for special occasions where you will be sitting for most of the time. Why? A friend of mine's mother wore 2-3" heels from her teens on up to when I met her to compensate for her short stature of 5'1" & her feet had the most extreme deformity & chronic pain requiring more than a few surgeries (her big toes for example were permanently bent at 35 or more degree angles towards her other toes & the bunion was very large despite the surgeries!) She would only allow my friend to have spike heels under the condition that she wore them no more than 2 times per week or for special occasions because anything more than that could over time permanently alter the bones in feet.
Just thank you. Because it popped when I was liked 13 and for a dance I needed to know how to properly begin to wear heels and how to walk with it. And it popped again today, and I'm 22. And it is always good to have some tips! So thank you!
Its 3am, I'm getting out of bed, I'm gonna put my heels on to practice my walking and idc. Not the first time I see this but I forgot the technique. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video!! I'm a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding this year and I've never walked in heels. I'll make sure to practice everything in this video so I can walk without falling in front of everyone lmao!
My first time in heels was when I had 14 years old. At the beginning I had problems with walking in these shoes but I learned quickly. Now I am real lady and I'm proud of myself. I love dresses and heels.
I appreciate this video - for others. At almost 5; 8" I'd feel like a freak. PLUS at 62 - hooray! - no one really cares. Including me. As I've gotten older, I realise that attitude is Queen and the amount of our awareness is more important than the length of our legs. At least, it makes us nicer to be around which is better than accessories that don't.
Yes, agreed! I am 5'8" and never wore anything higher than 2 inches. I figure 5'10" is possible, especially if going to a formal event...I think I would feel awkward going to say a wedding wearing flats.
thx for tips, im not a girl, but guy, but i also im in love woth heels.... i donowhy heels are forbiden for guys tho, if woman have flats why cant guys wear heels too
I agree. Some of the best looking/dressed people that I have seen have been Female Impersonators, transvestites or transgender and they can seriously work a pair of heels!
im not even trannny, just like walk high heels... who said high heels are for woman only??? none, mans invinited heels for theyself, why mans cant wear high heels now? only cuz most ppl say its for woman, i wanna my ass look awesome too... and i dont walk like woman, some ppl say you gonna walk like woman, but thts bullshit, you will never do if you feel like man... whatever you wear high heels or flats, tbh my feet hurts cuz of flats... srsly...
You should have been born in a different century, ...or maybe the Seventies?lol ... another commenter said that heels were first worn by Kings, Lords and others first. (makeup and wigs too? I think so)... ;) Things change all the time, one minute something is OK the next it's the opposite. (this era's gender roles suck, slooowllly changing though, don't you think? not quick enough for you though hey? :()
i tried street heeling(for boys its a lot adrenaline) some another boys was angry, one woman asked why i wear em :D and i don't got rly killer heels, i had 16cm with a little front platform and rly sharp metal heel, my girl was so jealous for them on me so i send them back, tho i loved how i feel on them, tho never public, tho i tough bout it.
I mastered walking on slippery floors, on uneven concrete, and in grass/dirt all in one night while wearing stilettos at a jazz poetry club. Confidence is key and it will definitely come! Thanks for this video
I needed a smile. Thanks. I took a header in 7" ers on stairs. Total face plant. But yeah....practice. BTW I am a Cross Dresser. The advice helps. Feel free to point and laugh.
no her shoes are the right size because I'm a model and I know from experience that if u was like a padding in the front it will give u space but if the high heels fit perfectly it will hurt to wear padding plus ur feet slide down which crushes ur toes some tips like use hair spray for the inside so ur feet stay in place. have heels with a bit of space like a little larger high heel size.. put lotion on the top of ur feet and on the pinky and big toe only on the sides and have a padding inside for the front and put like a cut up piece of sock and tape it to the side of ur pinky toe and big toe this may help with pain and this might help with ur walking less pain better walk I hope my tips helped with hers..
Give our newest video a try. It has tons of tips and tricks that will help with ALL your shoe woes! Let us know what you think "Boots! From OUCH to OMG!" ua-cam.com/video/BqbH2DfIF3U/v-deo.html Thanks for watching! :)
Chocolatier its ok, take me as an example. Im 12 years old and i can walk with any type of heels, believe it or not. The method i used to get used to it was by dancing randomly to songs, and it actually helps. It may hurt for a couple of practices but you'll get the hang of it. Have fun! 👍😋
I appreciate the advice, but I feel compelled to add that some of us fashionistas have reasons for not wearing heels that cannot be overcome with inserts or walking tutorials. Until a cure for arthritis, fibromyalgia, and similar issues, it would be nice if heels weren't considered nearly mandatory for both formal and professional wear.
Lucy Gillam They aren't. Look at any magazine, or fashion blog, or go any downtown where fashionable people go. Some women love heels, some love flats. Many fashion darlings, like Alexa Chung for one example are very rarely seen in heels. There are many very conservative feminine flats to choose from even the most formal event or office.
Speaking as a women who used to wear 4in heels to work everyday, when I was running late, I'd literally kick the shoes off and high tail it in bare feet. The one time I tried to hurry wearing wedges, I tripped and scraped up my feet + arms. Ended up with band aids all over ... My advice is slow-down, place your foot evenly and flat on the ground, wear 3in heels or wedges. save the skyscrapers for the strippers.
I don't wear heels anymore since I have fallen so badly I couldn't go to work for two weeks. Since then I'm all about comfort. besides, high heels have no health benefits for your body. It only has negative aspects for your body, and not just for your feet, but for your WHOLE body. Just smurfin' google it, girls. But you won't. The human body isn't made to wear high heels, anyway... Ladies, wear whatever you want, it's your choices!!! You'll regret it after 30 years... Or even sooner. I know what I'm talking about. Go ahead destroy your health. I'm done.
Truth, but saving heels for special occasions like prom, holidays...things that only happen once or twice a year will minimize the negative effects! Fast food is super bad for your body, but people still eat it- the trick is, as with anything, practice moderation!
Exactly, some women can have health problems for example if they wear high heels every day to work, but if you wear them once a week, and only when you don't have to walk a lot, then it's no problem
lol heels have been around for so many YEARS!!! sit down please let people do what they damn please, if we "glammer women " like heels and die before of after 30 at least we'll die glamourous! 💋
I completely agree with you. I tried wearing high heels on a daily basis, but I couldn't deal with the pain, so screw it. I wear flats or small heels. High heels for big occasions only.
I'm slowly getting into heels. I do have a pair of heels from a 2nd. hand store that I like to wear in the yard when I cut the grass a couple times a year. They work really well to aerate the yard. Here's another idea when learning to walk a straight line. If for some reason you don't have lines to work with, you can still practice walking in a straight line. Place something that will make noise when you step on it. Maybe something like a flattened water bottle or some cereal. You can place them in a straight line across a lot or other surface. The point is if you stay on the straight path is you'll hear it when your foot steps on it. Start on one end pick a fixed point across the way and walk it. If you stay on track, you'll hear the sound of the bottle or cereal crunch under your feet. Please be careful using some painted lines because they can end up being slippery too.

Easy to say that after walking in heels for 15 years and no longer being able to now
I like and use lower heeled high heels because they are easier to work with. Nothing wrong with not wanting to wear the 6 inch heels. But again I don't wear heels often and save them for special occasions.
When she said the latest trend was chunky heels, i was like wHaT!! Really? Then I realised this video was 8yrs old
I still wear 5"-6" platform chunky heels
i just love them, they are more comfortable than stilettos
High heels are the best.
Chunky heels look so good tho and they are easy to walk in 😍
@Christie Tedesco They came back in style in 2019. 90s and 00s styles are in now. I got 2 pairs from target and one from forever 21.
Why is this in my recommendations 8 years later?

all her shoes seem to be way to big for her feet?
coldlasagne thank you! I was wondering just about the same thing.
They indeed are, a very common mistake. She also doesn't know how to walk in them properly.. I teach women how to walk in heels, she is a rank beginner.
+louis cyfer I was thinking the samething she looks awkward.
+louis cyfer Haha, I agree!
+louis cyfer so what is the proper way?
Am i the only one that noticed that all her heels were way too big on her?
borrowed 😐
I was just about to say the same thing!
no me too hehe
Same tbh. First rule of learning to walk in heels: wear some that fit, maybe?
i was searching in the comments if sombody had noticed that thnk you
Yeah, that crossover walk is not cute.
+TheBerkeleyBeauty Guess it's ok... If you want to look drunk
she is super cute walking in them, but seeing crossover up close makes me super dizzy
TheBerkeleyBeauty makes her look drunk
She cant even walk in heels. This was awful
Yes! When people do the crossover I'm always like why do people think this is cute? This is the face i do when you do the crossover in front of me: 😐😑
I'll be wearing heels for the first time in my 21years of life this weekend and this really helped ♡

Yikes. Yeah heels are definitely not worth all this tf

She works them nonetheless, though!
That´s what I though too. The heels are away too big for her.. O.o
Yeah! If her feet sweat a bit she'll be walking right out of them! (happened to me today at graduation ): )
yes it looks like it, it makes me think she's gonna fall right over all the time, walking in heels that are too big could be dangerous lol

The number of nice heels in this video: 0
I'm sorry but these shoes are atrocious
This was made in 2011. Those were very in style at the time. My friends and I wore many of those types to prom lol
In today’s standards they are kinda ugly and tacky looking, but before they were all ladies wanted
V Silvia haha strip heels
hehe this made me laugh
Aaaah 2011. Back when smokey eyes were raccoon circles
I'm 21 and I stil can't wear heels - which TOTALLY sucks, because it is the most beautiful thing ever. This tips are really great, but my problem is that it hurts either way ;/
Heels aren't goof for your spine anyway.
Same :(
Lu Michelini Dear My Friends,
If you love shoes as much as I do, then it’s safe for me to assume that you have been attracted by Christian Louboutin Daffodile since they became a part of the fashion world.
Every time I see this loving high-heeled shoe, I’m reminded of the feeling that I had as a child with my first date, my first kiss, or the first time I stepped into a room with a flying pair of heels. Yes, that’s what Daffodiles bring for me, they make my Heart Beat!
www.christianlouboutinpromo.com
they do hurt your spine as well as your hips, knees and ankles. It's on the internet if you want to look it up.
***** You're right. So why did you believe that only your feet were effected?
Who walks like that on the streets lol
+Saphire Bevan or someone really confident
Ikr she looks drunk and ready yo jump into anyone's car if they were to open the door for her. xD
people who feel comfortable like this
lol
honestly me I walk like that in the street nd its my natural walk
The first time I tried wearing stiletto heels I ended up in the hospital because I broke my ankle in three places. They're cute, but no thanks.
***** ehhhh... you get use to them.... that was bad but don't be afraid of them!
Stephanie Wichowski Nah, I'm not afraid of them, its just I'm very clumsy and I know Id end up breaking something again.
السلامورحمة.وقديكونهناكفرقساعةواحدة
I agree. Fuck heels. Sorry bout the glass tho that probably hurt a whole lot.
when you buy heals for your graduation but have 0 idea how to walk in ones...
Me rn 😅
1:32 these "dream shoes" seem a bit to big for you
+ArisaStudios
their probably not even hers
She wears a size bigger so that her feet won't hurt so much celebrities do it all the time. Go.google it.
You wish you could walk in heels like she does.
They do fit her, but yes some of them are big on her. Not all them. I would know because I used to get them a lot bigger and now they are my size.
I don't know how I came across your video but this was so helpful! Thanks!
I watched this video for the first time probably 5 years ago by now. Thank you for teaching me how to walk up and down stairs. It has stayed with me all this time and probably will for the rest of my life.
I love to watch videos about walking in my favorite shoes. High heels really makes my life better. I embrance my princess energy.
Thanks.
Gonna need this for prom
mee too
J-HI same 😁
lol me rn
Oof me too
OMG SAMEEEE TODAY
I've got to walk in thigh-high stilettos for my Mettaton cosplay and I can hardly keep my balance walking barefoot. Sooo nervous about this but I'll try this stuff out!
+Marcel Octavious you should buy the n advance and wear them at home aall the time. thats how I learned to walk in heels :)
I remember watching this video 3 years ago, and now I am finally trying to practice walking in heels. Thank God that I did start to practice with the wedges first a few months ago because now my feet does not hurt anymore when I wear actual heels.
"and guys will just drool over" -- FIRST of im gAY--
Lmao same tho
I'm bi so
@@carenarose6037 then u half agree
Same 😂
Blue Pierce but you know you drool over it too
I don't even own a pair of flats. But then again here in NYC stilettos are a must. I remember years ago I stepped off a curb and broke my foot. I had crutches for awhile. I still wore one high heel and one orthopedic boot with my crutches. Now I see other ladies doing the same thing here in NYC, I started a trend! LOL
Why are stilettos a must?
In New York City, where I live, they are a MUST. Ladies here live in them and just love the look. You don't see any fashionable woman here in anything but stilettos. They are a must because they are so feminine and they lengthen the look of the leg and make you walk so cute. For those reasons they are required footwear. For you people who live in the countryside or enjoy camping and the great outdoors, obviously you need to choose another option. Maybe a flat or a ballet slipper style. Here in the asphalt jungle, its stiletto pumps all the way, honey!
Blanca W I understand but I would be absolutely terrified to bust my a$$ on concrete! I have done it before, in wedges. LOL
Blanca W LOL you are fabulous. Thank you for sharing your stories.
Oh my goodness thank you so much for the tip on walking heel to toe! It makes me feel SO much safer and more secure in heels!
This is my first video of her and I am in looooove she is so funny and I don't know why she doesn't have more subscribers....seriously
Super informative, thanks!
+Tatiana Alvarez I agree with you.
You might find you walk better in shoes that actually fit...
lol
Yah, why do so many women (not all but some) wear heels that are bigger than thier feet? Not to mention is doesn't look good when you have a gap half an inch between your heel and shoe. I always fear the foot slipping out of the shows and having the person end up falling and getting hurt.
@@velocirapter Because it gives me blisters 😓 I also have fat toes 💀
@@velocirapter I think it's because you can't wear smaller pairs because they hurt a lot and the little gap is necessary to walk easily because your ankles move a lot when you walk and need space to move (ofc)
i like the gap between the shoe and the heel because when you're in stilletoes that dont have a gap, you get blisters. its not pleasant
What is funny. Is that high heels used to be for men only. The more powerful and higher up you were in nobility. The taller your shoe heels were. Kings tended to wear red heels. This is why also, one shoe maker uses red heels in their shoes.
they actually started as riding shoes because you can never ever ride with flat shoes and only men used to ride horses
Alli Svendsen True. But the only men that rode horses were nobles and royalty.
Louboutin red soles actually have nothing to do with what kings historically wore at all.
I have 15 years old and I already walk in high heels and I am so in love with these shoes. They make me so feminine. I love them.
It'll help the heel conform to your feet, so when you do wear them going out, they wont give you trouble, or at least so much trouble.
its hurt, cuz ur feet bones aint fillin right, nobodies feets like highheels @ 1st week, im walkin on heels all my free time and it wont hurt, but maybe cuz i do it when im on home, as guys in high heels is forbidden to show society... fuckin ankward as we see history, guys was the ones who started high heels... you cant blame guys for high heels, cuz we made them for ourselfes 4centuries ago, but then woman stole idea and here we go, guys cant wear high heels, cuz woman stole idea, but i still in love with them
Lydia Moore They're Gucci. :P
I'm a man who wears heels
I have a pair of high chunky heels at home. The lady at the shop was impressed by how I could walk in them
David Bourne YES! need more people like you
Praise you! Wear those heels!
I'm starting to wear more heels too. I like them a lot. Eventually I'd like to try stilettos.
Same here - I have more heels than male shoes. I find they really help my back.
I just find your chanel and I'm subscribing! Love your videos they are amazing!
This actually helped me ALOT.
I have to do a runaway next week for a modeling casting. Watching this video has given me an idea.
I LOVE this!!! :)))
It's been seven years since you commented and you don't know me, obv, but I hope you got your casting!
I just want to thank you for making this video you just saved me from a life time of embarrassment
Do i really have to walk this way? I mean, I don't really want to cross one feet over the other, people are going to think I'm a prostitute
Don't over do it like her, but you should keep your feet closer together
ok thanks! =)
Well, basically, people might think that I'm walking this way because I want them to notice my "bottom". Now no offense to the girl. And thank you for your answers
Models walk like that crossing one feet over the other.
grunchinette250 It's all about toning it down.
2011: how to walk in heels
2020: how to breathe with nose
I'm watching this right before prom😂
same 😂
Same😂
ME RN😂
Did you fall?
samee i never thought i'd need this video
So bad for your feet. I work at a pedorthic facility and see the effects of lifelong high heal wearing. It's a painful future. Bunion surgery scars are ugly and even after surgery....they can come back. Super high heals are SO bad for you. I have to fit these poor women into a triple wide shoe that are hideous and forget sandals. People are going to wear what they want but just a heads up....moderation is important.
You can do exercises afterwards, Just saying.
I don't always wear heels on a daily basis. Once or twice a week waay more than enough. I don't know how people can wear high heels everyday.
*Sandra Steiner "pedorthic?" "heals?" what??
ok so you can tell that this person is probably like 11 due to the grammar mistakes
jack Black u have grammar mistakes too so you're not one to talk
I have 15 years old and I am in love with high heels. I already tried to walk in them and I'm glad because my feet feel well in high heels and I can walk in them. Still I need practice but I am fine and my mom is helping me out. I'm happy.
Am I the only one getting annoyed over how she keeps saying "girls"?
Her entire way of speaking annoys.
She’s kind of annoying so I understand
I honestly thought she was joking and I was waiting for it to be funny
Yes
idk maybe because the video is aimed towards women and girls? what the hell are u talking about
I bought a pair of shoes from your website and they were fabulous! I got the white sparkly heel wedges
Thanks. I never had a sister to teach me, so I was doing it all wrong and gave up. I'll give it another try now.
Ironically...I've never had anyone teach me either...But I've always done it right. .-.
Magnimazing That isn't irony.
Erza Scarlet I was being ironic. But thanks for being a killjoy.
Magnimazing You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
i already rock the 5,9 look without heels so.... u actually could wear heels :-)
I'm 5ft 10 n I wear heels up to 5 inches. Don't get why u feel self conscious
.
Bubbles ಠ_ಠ Sweetie I'm 6'0 and i wear stilettos all the time.Men love tall women in high heels.
Bella Marie Randall yes so they can look under their dress and stuff and be pervy
Every time she said wedges I started thinking of potatoes
You must be British
😂
same😭
Just thank you.
Hahahahahaha!!
It's nearly 2 in the morning here and I've just been entertaining the same thoughts!
graduation is next month and my ass no idea how heels work. Let’s pray I don’t fall and bust my ass on the ceremony stage.
SAME OMG
how did it go??
How did it go
5 years ago I use to be like a scrambly stumbly deer, now I mastered heels like WHAT ~
you give me hope :D
Mine too lol
how?? I'm still like bambi on ice. I love heels, but I love my unbroken ankles more haha
I just tried your method and it really does be work. I was trying to walk with toe first. But heel first was the truth. Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much for this video!! I'm a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding this year and I've never walked in heels. I'll make sure to practice everything in this video so I can walk without falling in front of everyone lmao!
Where do you get your heels?
They are so cute! Especially the ones that strap to your ankles 😍
***** Ahhh omg thanks!!!
+Angelica Mallari Try ebay. They sell any old Shit.
Why are all the shoes so big in her. Surely that makes it harder to walk in!!
I’m 5’11 and I’m gonna get into super high heels one day.
thx for tips, im not a girl, but guy, but i also im in love woth heels.... i donowhy heels are forbiden for guys tho, if woman have flats why cant guys wear heels too
Catchcry
tbh ur right, i dont feel belong to this century rly... not as man for sure...
i tried street heeling(for boys its a lot adrenaline) some another boys was angry, one woman asked why i wear em :D and i don't got rly killer heels, i had 16cm with a little front platform and rly sharp metal heel, my girl was so jealous for them on me so i send them back, tho i loved how i feel on them, tho never public, tho i tough bout it.
I’m 16 and I just got my first pair, I can walk in them but I’m really *slow* and I feel like I’m gonna fall
I mastered walking on slippery floors, on uneven concrete, and in grass/dirt all in one night while wearing stilettos at a jazz poetry club. Confidence is key and it will definitely come! Thanks for this video
I haven't seen one pair of nice shoes in this video! Quite an informative one though.
Sarah Fernandez her heels are so sexyy
This helped me so much because my homecoming is in three days and I need to wear heels that clack like flip flops🤦🏾♀️smh I finally got it to stop
Thank you so much!! This video is absolutely amazing! Using it for my first pair of heels for prom
Here I am in 2022 at 36 tryna learn how to master walking in my heels lol & Ambiclub is my heel store!!! 🔥❤️
I can't do this...I even can't use 2 inches wedges
0:38
Jack: You sure you'll fall in love with that one pair of silver ankle strappy pumps?
Me: Oh Jack, I think they're cute!
My graduation is next month and i really want to learn how to walk in them, but im so scared :(
awesome :)
sweetteddy bear hmm haha
prettycookiemonster99 Definitely not recommended to walk in heels at graduation most high schools (if you're in hs) frown a upon it.
i will walk in them just to take a few photos with my family and friends and after i will be in my converse :) lostangels224
prettycookiemonster99 Good idea, Vans or Converse -Thumbs up-
Super quick, packed with useful info…
This is what UA-cam was made for!
this just reinforces the fact that i well never wear heels
sneakers FTW!
I feel like she's trying really really hard. Lol
I needed a smile. Thanks. I took a header in 7" ers on stairs. Total face plant. But yeah....practice. BTW I am a Cross Dresser. The advice helps. Feel free to point and laugh.
High heels are the best shoes in the world. I love these shoes so much.
0:41
Took me clean out 😭💀
did she always where to big heels? o.O
+GlossysWorld THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING
no her shoes are the right size because I'm a model and I know from experience that if u was like a padding in the front it will give u space but if the high heels fit perfectly it will hurt to wear padding plus ur feet slide down which crushes ur toes some tips like use hair spray for the inside so ur feet stay in place. have heels with a bit of space like a little larger high heel size.. put lotion on the top of ur feet and on the pinky and big toe only on the sides and have a padding inside for the front and put like a cut up piece of sock and tape it to the side of ur pinky toe and big toe this may help with pain and this might help with ur walking less pain better walk I hope my tips helped with hers..
oh thanks for this video lol i love heels but dont know how to walk right i put first my toe than my heels hahaha thanks now i know!
The only reason why I am here is because I love to watch videos about high heels. I don't imagine life without them.
I feel uncomfortable wearing almost any kind of high heels.. even those wedges... :D
I roll my ankles even in wedges. XD

The black, floral heels at 0:45 were amazing... So jealous!
High heels are not only for strippers, I´m wearing high heels and I´m NOT a stripper, piss off!
I have a runway in 4 hrs 😩😫😫
Exactly, some women can have health problems for example if they wear high heels every day to work, but if you wear them once a week, and only when you don't have to walk a lot, then it's no problem
okay but fast food tastes good ... high heels are just all around awful
lol heels have been around for so many YEARS!!! sit down please let people do what they damn please, if we "glammer women " like heels and die before of after 30
at least we'll die glamourous! 💋
I completely agree with you. I tried wearing high heels on a daily basis, but I couldn't deal with the pain, so screw it. I wear flats or small heels. High heels for big occasions only.
Im 15 and just bought my first high heels. Ty for this video!
3:13 *scared the shit out of me*
My mom practiced me when I was 3 yrs old so I'm fine
Why am I even here... 🤔
Kassandra: hey girls.
Me, a man: 👁👄👁
I'm slowly getting into heels.
