Im a carpenter and I have tried poly hose and pvc hoses and hybrid hoses. I personally love PVC it’s cheap and flexible and lightweight the best one I have owned was a blue one from harbor freight it had a nylon outer jacket and high quality PVC underneath 10 out of ten. The polyurethane hoses are very durable and tough but they have to be wrapped up very specifically every time it’s not a big deal but I do not like it especially rolling up a 100ft one even more so if it is a 3/8 thick one that’s a nightmare . Now the best one is hybrid hoses even though I love my PVC I’ll admit it hybrid is the best one I never bought but I stole two once from the roofing contractor ( he had it coming freaking jerk ) they were good hoses a yellow dewalt one and some green one then someone stole one from me it was that good. I work in California I don’t get the real cold weather but on winter mornings when it is 53 the pvc is stiffer than usual but still usable. I’ve seen videos where pvc hose are like rocks I have never experienced it but it is a real thing . :Bonus:Honorable mention rubber ! It’s heavy and well heavy and hard to drag around theirs better stuff now days like Pvc and stolen hybrids

I have 2 issues. Rubber cracks because I'm changing car tires outside of my shop. Then oil is making the compressor side end fail on PVC. I guess I need a hybrid hose.

nice review! one thing though, rubber hoses will dry rot. so it all boils down to outside vs inside vs climate vs usage scenario
