- Learn to set up your Nebular 1550 swag with Darren from DARCHE
The DARCHE Nebula is an innovative design which sets up in just over 90 seconds and is a all weather robust shelter for 1 or 2 people. Uniquely constructed as a single skin canvas, the Nebula combines the space of a tent with the comfort and durability of a swag.
great review just purchased one for us, solid quality 👌 definitely needed a thicker mattress though
My biggest issue is the flaps all have to be zipped up if it rains? If it's a bit humid the condensation and no fresh air flow is a disaster. Did you get awning poles?
Beautiful monster Swag!
Great but you didn’t show me inside. Why the annoying music!!!
I wish you guys would bring back the Frontier
My dog would be so happy.
roll up window should roll up inside
Do you guys stock a thicker mattress for the Nebula 1550? The 50mm one that comes with it is bloody uncomfy. Most competitors of yours are offering 70mm or even 100mm mattresses.
Great question. I see you never got a response to your request!
Nagh there still 50mm, and it's a soft 50mm I was hitting the ground laying flat. I got anew mattress from there opposition that's fits perfect and was less than half there price as well delivered. It's 10 times better.
Ok just got mine. It's an awesome swag ....but couple of stupid errors in the design.
First thing for the price add the two awning poles in the swag!making them extra for a $700 swag is not very good.
Now the poor design. When it's raining all the canvas flaps roll up from the bottom exposing the internals to water as ther not covered by canvas. If it's humid and raining you can't get any ventilation into the swag. Two people confined space no air is a disaster. The end flaps should roll downs you can have ventilation at the tops under the canvas. That way you can roll them down a third and the mesh is still under cover of the end peaks. Most good swags are built like this. It's a bit of a dissapointment as didn't realise when I bought it.
Did you fart in it ?
@@W3TFARTasking the important questions
Can you set it up without the poles and tie the ends out to trees?
Hi Matthew, we always recommend using the poles for stability just in case the conditions get a bit rough
Yes the thin mattress is stopping me buying one
Ied need a half a canister of ventalon setting it up bet it wouldn’t fit back in the bag 😂 😂
Great but more tent than swag.
I don't understand the appeal of a swag. It is a small tent when you set it up. But the pack size is huge! So it is made for car camping and not a backpacking tent. Might as well get a big family tent?
you're correct, these are tents, not swags. a swag is a bedroll, it's annoying to see these manufacturers use the term incorrectly, but that's another matter. in my opinion, the main appeal for these "swag" tents, is that they are usually made out of canvas, and quite a bit more durable than most tents on the market, which are usually polyester or nylon. the canvas does have its drawbacks, such as weight and packed size, but they are cheaper than comparable canvas tents
Well the point is you leave your mattress and pillows and blankets in it and roll it up where as a tent you’d have a matress that you have to find space for and pillows.
